fb post from September 10th"An extraordinary night in Liverpool! Yesterday we took an evening off to see Sean Lennon in concert at the Kazimir/Liverpool. While waiting for the show to start we bumped in no other than the legendary Len Garry, the bassist of The Quarrymen (John Lennon’s first band). From second 1 it felt like talking to an old friend! Len was a school friend of John, and together they formed their first band, later also taking Paul McCartney on board. Sean’s band "The Ghost of a Saber Tooth Tiger" played a great set. We saw them for the first time and think that Sean as well as his band mates are all excellent musicians and their harmonies were superb. Afterwards he came out to sign his LPs, and we went to talk to him as well. The first thing he said when we approached him was "hey, you guys look like you should be in a band". He was fantastic and totally cool to talk with! After chatting about the Cavern, Austria, New York and his latest release we took some photos and went back home, still wearing huge smiles on our faces. A spontaneous but fun night, linking the very origins of Skiffle and Rock & Roll to the present and future! Hugs, Mona & Lisa "

Hey! Not too bad! It was all right! (Looks like there's a large grey alien over the amp, eh?)
