Here are 3 pics from a promo shoot I didn't know of (until today) which occurred around early 1968. It's seems like 'Paul' is heavily involved in this shoot. What raised an eyebrow for me (no pun intended) was the middle photograph which has the number 33 clearly visible and painted (?) on to the structure there behind 'Paul'. Seems like this was done on purpose. 'Paul' acknowledging his Mason masters?

Indeed that middle pic is peculiar, the 33 does make you wonder if that was deliberate salute to his "brethren".
But it's also peculiar because it looks like the "fab four" standing at the top of the steps in that same pic. Could someone enlarge that?

It's the British group GRAPEFRUIT whom had the Beatles' backing. They released two albums in the late 60's.

Faul looks rather haggard for 1968....around the "jowls"...odd! The band does have that "we're trying to be Beatle-ish" look....never heard of them in any research that I've done. Also, commenting on the profile of him with the fans....looks like he's sporting "Elvis sideburns'....thank you, thank you very much....Sir Paul has left the park....  |
