Greetings fellow travellers....in all fairness to free speech, and the last time I heard, we still have that in this country....and certainly on this forum. There are going to be things spoken, even if it's not fair, about dead people, and about living people, about good people or evil people. Yes, Veronica is dead, so is Lee Harvey Oswald, Adolf Hitler, Joseph Stalin, Abe Lincoln, Ghandi, Elvis, JFK, RFK, MLK, Marilyn Monroe, or anyone else that ever lived......Things are going to be spoken of all these people in the positive and the negative. Some may be judgmental, and some may be in "fairness". I don't know what the big deal is over one person. As far as living a difficult life. Each one of us could say our own lives are difficult. We all have a cross to bear and I'm sure most of us have things that would not be things others would think was easy, or envious of. Being devoted to a "faith", there are Muslims that are blowing or cutting heads off people who disagree with them, some are more publicized, yet they are devout in their beliefs, does that make it "right" to be devoted to something that is evil? Just because they are dedicated to their beliefs, does it make it right to express those beliefs? Bombing Israel because they hate the Jews, is that right? Hitler was devoted to killing off Jews during the 30's and 40's. Does that make it right for his belief system? Just becasue someone is devoted to a belief system, doesn't make it "right", even if it's only in their eyes. Even if you don't share their beliefs, do you think it's acceptable to express your faith, when it means killing someone who disagrees? They think they are setting a good example, it's not good, but to them it is. Does this still make it acceptable? She paid her dues? So did all of the Christians who were burned at the stake at the hands of the Catholic church during the 1500's...because they did not agree to worship or agree with the Pope...is this acceptable? How many Christians that died in England because they didn't follow the religion of bloody Mary who was Catholic. How about all the skeletal remains of infants in catacombs in Rome? Babies aborted because the priests raped the nuns and the unborn babies were found...is this acceptable? Seriously, let's talk about the bloodshed, the Catholics are more guilty of killing people than the Muslims...yet they are devout and without judgment? Paid her dues...she worshiped the pope, Mary adoration, and followed those traditions, even in willfull ignorance...still wrong.. Don't talk about meek beating one without trying.....how about all those dead because of Roman Catholicism? ?? That church was founded on bloodshed. Don't talk about witholding judgment.....give me a break! I'm waiting for Hotman to tell us his take on the subject....and that's fine, it's what he believes. Just as long as he doesn't shoot us for disagreeing with him.....or standing on a soapbox and trying to make us feel badly about a comment someone made regarding any subject. We are entitled to our opinion and entitled to express that opinion....whether she was a witch or the size of her beads....give me a break! People died to defend our right to free speech..... All I know is that one day all truth will be revealed and we will find out who was right in their beliefs and who was wrong. Why am I so passionate about my post? Perhaps seeing things going on in the world and that there are unfair things happening all over the world and perhaps my own opinion being put down by someone on a soapbox....don't know. But other people have posted unfair statements that may have seemed judgmental by others, yet they posted. Just expressing my freedom, while there still is some left.....

Mike Nesmith: "Match-cut. <HERE WE GO>. We turn over, & we all take our positions in front of the camera. '[Because this is the Monkees and we're really tricky.]' Tell me Frank Zappa, I've always wanted to have you show me how to conduct. Because I heard you're real SPIFFY at it." ...<Space>... Frank: "Well, I'll tell you, Mike; Before we get too involved with the Piano; Let's whistle over to the Car & I'll teach you..." Mike: "Whip!" Frank: "How <Pause> to play a Car. Watch this."

In fairness to Veronica, It's easy enough to say that she was 'a witch', or mock her rosary beads, but she paid her dues. ***Unless you know that you yourself are all spiffy with God and humanity***, it might be wise to withhold judgment on others you might feel inclined to belittle. Sometimes the meek can beat you without even trying. *** People falter. Joe Meek - I Hear A New World In the south-eastern United States Christian Cults existed that believed handling poisonous snakes (and not being bitten) was a sign of sincere religiosity. A "Miracle". After all, in the Garden of Eaten [excuse me, EDEN], Lucifer, Satan, was described as a Snake coiled in the Tree of the Knowledge of Good & Evil.

I've seen about people who are devout in believing they can handle snakes thinking this is the way to go. however I've also read of countless folks who died due to the poison of bites. So, were they wrong to believe they could handle snakes regardless of consequences? Someone can be totally devoted to some religion and still be wrong...like dying from the snake bites...

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Orion_Nebula
SUMer of 42www.astromax.org/con-page/images/orion852.jpgen.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cogito_ergo_sumThere has been speculation that the Mayans of Central America may have described the nebula within their "Three Hearthstones" creation myth; if so, the three would correspond to two stars at the base of Orion, Rigel and Saiph, and another, Alnitak at the tip of the "belt" of the imagined hunter, the vertices of a nearly perfect equilateral triangle[vague] with Orion's Sword (including the Orion Nebula) in the middle of the triangle[vague] seen as the smudge of smoke from copal incense in a modern myth, or, in (the translation it suggests of) an ancient one, the literal or figurative embers of a fiery creation.lol

Orion is actually the Huntress Athena. She aims her arrow at Taurus, the Bull. The lead star of Taurus is ALDEBARAN. V for Victory?

It wasn't. Jimi Hendrix - Axis Bold As Love: "Anger, he smiles, towering in shiny metallic purple armour. Queen Jealousy, envy waits behind him Her fiery green gown sneers at the grassy ground Blue are the life-giving waters taken for granted, They quietly understand Once happy turquoise armies lay opposite ready, But wonder why the fight is on But they're all bold as love, yeah, they're all bold as love Yeah, they're all bold as love Just ask the axis My red is so confident that he flashes trophies of war, and ribbons of euphoria Orange is young, full of daring, But very unsteady for the first go round My yellow in this case is not so mellowIn fact I'm trying to say it's frightened like meAnd all these emotions of mine keep holding me from, eh, Giving my life to a rainbow like you But, I'm eh , yeah, I'm bold as love Yeah, yeah Well I'm bold, bold as love (hear me talking, girl) I'm bold as love Just ask the axis (he knows everything) Yeah, yeah, yeah!"

The Sad Thing is the music is copy-right-protected when 77% of the time the lyrics are what matters most. And to think Master James believed his voice was sub-par and his lyrics something less.
I had a boyfriend that was color-blind and I would play this song to share the essence of COLOR. Then I played guitar and sang and kissed him to describe Turquoise. There is nothing that can equate to the difficulty of trying to describe color to a person that CANNOT see color. You either realize it is superfluous or you lose your mind.
I lost my mind and THEN realized it was superfluous. It turned into this terrible exhibition where I ended up feeling like a moron and he felt inadequate. But, Color becomes a "euphemism". Color, at some point, MUST become symbolic. At some point you ask, "Why is it important to describe Green?"
My boyfriend didn't like Music... Imagine me, an Art and Music fanatic, falling in Love with someone that is color-blind and doesn't listen to music.
Me: "How can you not listen to music?" Him: "I just don't." Me: "You were never a fan of music?" Him: "Never."
Yet, I sing and he smiles for miles.

From Wikipedia: "A smiley (sometimes simply called a happy or smiling face) is a stylized representation of a smiling humanoid face, an important part of popular culture. The classic form designed in 1963 comprises a yellow circle with two black dots representing eyes and a black arc representing the mouth." First, I came into contact with the Beatles by way of 5 or 6 "Beatle Biographies". Thes Biographies were gifted to me when I was young because I liked Music and people that like music like the "Beatles". I guess. Anyway, I noticed there were subtle differences with each book, either in the tone of the Author or in the Facts presented in given book. More often than not, one biography would pass over three months in 3 sentences while another would spent three chapters on the implications of a single day. Seven or 8 books were needed. So I began reading books about everything mentioned in every book I read. It is terribly overwhelming and so I decided to create this thread. Second, I seriously doubt the Smiley began in 1963. Third, Revising History is a dangerous game...

Synesthesia - Genesis P-Orridge (Interview)
There is a story where the Hell's Angels came to the Apple store/studio in London ca. 1968 and freaked everyone out. They were invited by George Harrison when he went to San Francisco. Around 27 minutes into this interview, Genesis mentions how he became friends with the Angel's in England and was kicked out of the art collective "The Exploding Galaxy", as a result. The Angels were considered too "Evil" or some such thing.
Funny, the Beatles essentially founded the European chapters...
[Assuming anything I post here is deleted from youtube, or whatever source, I have it all saved on my various HDs. This will never be one of those source-less threads.]

X-2 Counter Espionage Branch
The missions of the X-2 Branch were to:
"Collect information on espionage and subversive activities of the enemy Analyze, process and exchange this intelligence Maintain operational security measures for the OSS and prevent infiltration of the OSS by enemy intelligence services Cooperate and give timely intelligence to United States' and allied intelligence services Create foreign area subversive personality lists to disseminate to commanders and intelligence personnel."
It seems identical the task given to Bill Lee in "Naked Lunch".
Naked Lunch (1991) Directed by David Cronenberg
NOVA infiltrated X-2 by the time the War ended: "At its peak at the end of the War (what is referred to as World War Two), the X-2 Branch had 650 personnel in its office."
By 1947 the UFO propaganda began. That was 68 years ago.
Hehehe.
