On July 4th, a huge McCartney concert was scheduled in Denmark. But ...
which roughly translated means, "Danes hearing a McCartney concert have been fobbed off with a double, and should maybe consider some refund for the double-figure millions of euros they paid for it".
“SCANDAL - THE WRONG McCARTNEY by Tomas Treo”.
The man they heard playing was ‘nothing but a really bad forgery, concluded this Danish newspaper article.

SCANDAL - THE WRONG McCARTNEY by Tomas Treo
- Harmless doppelganger stole the show from the legend, who was only seen in glimpses.
Paul McCartney did not have to show ID to enter the festival-area. This turned out to be a fatal mistake.
Instead of seeing the icon from the Beatles the audience was met by a waxfigure from Madama Tussauds - nothing but a really bad forgery of the headlining of the festival.
The real Sir Paul was only observed in glimpses. Both he and the audience had problems staying awake until the final song -Golden Slumbers-
was done at almost one o clock in the morning.
It all started at 10.05 pm with a weak version of -The Magic Mystery Tour- , which left the audience with more disapointed than any form of magic.
The performance as a whole lefte McCartneys songtreasure dull and sad in the Roskilde dust. It is certainly quite an achievement to get so good songs
sound so trivial , irrelevant and will weak. The impostor threw his jacket after the fifth number, and it did help a little bit on -Let me roll it- but only
shortly after which everything fell back into the mediocre.
It seemed generally like the audience applauded more out of politeness than enthusiasm , and rested a very sobering and strangely
apathetic mood over the festival square.
In length it was also quite strenuous and awkward that the impostor on stage repeatedly tried to speak Danish to the Assembly .
And another cheap trick to pull the audience up on stage failed while the glorious anecdotes were recycled from his concert at home in Liverpool recently .
The McCartney copy's voice was hoarse when he pushed it, but ' Let It Be ' and ' Hey Jude ' revealed that he , after all sang something better than
the people in the audience who did NOT get something to tell the grandkids .
Let us hope Roskilde have saved the receipt on the two-digit million amount , which they reportedly paid for the fraud .
If the Roskilde Festival gets a refund on some of the money which they spent on the fraudster, these can be appropriatly invested it
in having 'John Lennon' perform next year.

Is that the real McCartney playing tonight?
According to a persistent rumor, he died in 1966. Roskilde Festival is, however, confident that they can present the real thing.
