JPM Theory - #1:
Below is an situation I created in my head in order to make sense of what really happened to James Paul McCartney (August-October 1966). It takes its main gist from a scenario 'Sun King' drew up. I know 'Sun King' is extremely inconclusive, but his reasonings as towards what happened in Seattle on the night of August 25th make sense to me. I'd like to hear your thoughts on this one, did Paul die in America or England (or France)?. Wasn't there a 'P.I.D.' clue in the movie 'Sleepless in Seattle'? A connection towards Seattle? Hmmmm.....
James Paul McCartney disappeared on the night of August 25th, 1966. After two shows and a press conference in Seattle, WA, Paul went to a party in his honour. He went with one or two female hitchhikers to a country house close to a river. The rest of The Beatles flew to Los Angeles. Paul McCartney was driving to the airport, in order to catch up with the rest of The Beatles. Suddenly, a Volkswagen car filled with shady individuals started approaching Paul and his companions. Peering out of the passenger's window, a man pulled up his handgun and started firing at Paul's vehicle. A few shots rang out, and cracked the window of Paul's driver seat. Thankfully, Paul's injuries proved minor. A few more shots rang, aimed at the tires, but it missed them. A turbulent, long and hefty car chase ensued, but fortunately after a while, the Volkswagen car inattentively crashed against a lamplight. The mobsters made it out unharmed. However, Paul lost focus of his driving and slide off an ocean dock and plunged into a nearby river. Both Paul and his female passengers swam to safety, and made it out fine. Paul phoned Ringo about what happened, assuring him he will be late for about an hour or two.

A rescue helicopter finally arrived in the middle of the night to airlift Paul and his companions to Los Angeles. There was massive fog and rainy weather underway that was currently disrupting air-travel throughout Seattle. Due to this, the helicopter was having great difficulty in terms of finding its way towards L.A. Some passengers and flight attendants fell asleep, only to awake to an engulfing flame that was quickly spreading across the room. It supposedly spawned from a burning cigarette that was left carelessly on board. A frenzy of madness resulted due to this! People were scrambling here, there and everywhere so they could put out the fire, while flight attendants where straining all their efforts in order to land to a nearby shore safely. No one could make out where they were due to the fog, not to mention the spreading fire that was only worsening the technical issues that were plaguing the flight at that time. The helicopter was violently fall plummeting towards the sea. Everyone knew that the helicopter was set to crash. Everybody on that flight were stuck in the helicopter, and were unable to get out in time. On August 26th, The Beatles were told about what happened to Paul by the authorities. Brian Epstein suggested that everyone should keep this incident a secret, since The Beatles were in the middle of their North American Tour, and the story would be enflamed and exploited by the press and media, tarnishing their future reputation and fan-following, especially among the 'Paul' fans, who would stop listening to The Beatles' music if they were to ever find out what really happened to Paul. A temporary stand-in for Paul was hired throughout the rest of the Beatles' North American tour to keep the prevent arousing any suspicion. The Volkswagen which was driven by the mobsters was found on August 28th, 1966 by the authorities. It is commonly mistaken as Paul's car. Paul's corpse was located on sea on September 11th, 1966. He was buried later that September in England under the false-name: 'James McKilroy.'
