The Crowley books did a number on the mind, I can recall
I remember it was near 1975 with the last album before the big comeback
Maybe it wasn't so much Crowleys books as it was the proof of seeing it first hand and not being able to say anything when you know it's not plausible
Anywho, life got boring. You wake up and realize you were at the raw end of a bad deal, so you wonder if it's even worth the thrill when you know it's going to get you killed
I can remember arguing in the mind
--I want to enjoy life for a while and not have to worry when this karma will ketchup.--
The subconscious has its own way of communicating, usually when you think one thing, it's that second thought that you haven't given much thought to thinking.
--when it was said and recorded, I can remember thinking it's Over--
There was a thought that it wouldn't be so easy to escape from, and it'll be more than easy to find someone else that will toot the horn, maybe that's when Chapman started really hearing things. It'd make sense (well to me it would)
As for I'm losing you, listen to one of the last interviews
--I WAS POSSESSED BY THE ROCK N ROLL DEVIL--
Or was he?
Maybe it was the perfect illusion to make it look as if it was a romance song to Yoko--so they say..
I know I hurt you then, but Hell that was way back when.
