[ Ask him if he has an alibi for the last few decades; if you know what I mean. Hi Ramone, his alibi is: He left the music business to become an accountant. And as in the jewish joke below, he has spent all his free time for years reading all these boards and websites saying he's Paul McCartney instead. And he counts them as if they were friends on Facebook. 'A Jewish man was riding on the subway reading an Arab newspaper. A friend of his, who happened to be riding in the same subway car, noticed this strange phenomenon. Very upset, he approached the newspaper reader: "Moshe, have you lost your mind? Why are you reading an Arab newspaper?" Moshe replied: "I used to read the Jewish newspaper, but what did I find? Jews being persecuted, Israel being attacked, Jews disappearing through assimilation and intermarriage, Jews living in poverty. So I switched to the Arab newspaper. Now what do I find? Jews own all the banks, Jews control the media, Jews are all rich and powerful, Jews rule the world. The news is much better!" ' www.ikehillah.org/jewishhumor/In fact, the Jews do not rule the world. Maybe they rule Western countries. Phil Ackrill cannot be Paul McCartney. The real JPM is Paul McCartney (a pseudonym maybe). And he is alive. Phil may have been one of the replacements in the studio when Paul left. And he may have continued to work with him in the studio and outside afterwards. He has rabbit teeth, so he may have done some things from the beginning, as the public figure Paul McCartney, which is a combination of many different individuals. The house of Paul, so to speak. As in the fun video of "Coming Up", there are many Pauls (imitating other musicians), and there are at least three different real persons doing all the Paul characters. www.dailymotion.com/video/x22vz3_paul-mccartney-coming-up_musicjackbrummet.blogspot.ca/2009/05/music-video-paul-mccartneys-coming-up.html?m=1

Personally, I think it can be a good thing to stretch and get a little out there as far as exploring things - but, always keep at least one foot tethered to center. Stay grounded - come back to earth as needed to re-navigate.
There are times when an 'out there' thought might have some validity but probably a lot of it doesn't - and that's where the tethering comes in.

Just use common sense when it comes to stuff like Phil Ackrill.....he has nothing to do with anything. Try to rigorously promote the the most outrageous, ridiculous, baseless theory you can on these message boards and you will gain a following. Not only that but in a short time people will swear it was gospel. Hi Redlion, leaving alone the smiling big star for a while, I'm gonna buy a story about another person mentioned on this board, only because that person also had rabbit teeth. No, because it makes some sense to me. So Red Lion, prepare the Koolaid and descriptions of some things you have to sell: www.azlyrics.com/lyrics/georgestrait/oceanfrontproperty.htmlMy post is in the thread about her: invanddis.proboards.com/thread/4682/pearl-witherington-pauline-paul-replacement?page=6#post-118873

Apollo has intimated, however, that JPM did return in some form. FWIW, I asked Apollo where after 1966 would I look for evidence of JPM's return. His response " the White Album ( to some extent) and Abbey Rd." ACV told me the same - Pepper, TWA, Abbey R. - and as far as bass work - that John and Geo could do some. And Klaus V. to name some names. Hi Ramone, "Ram on" must mean something to Paul cause it was a pseudonym and the title of a song and "Ram" was the title of an album. To me, Paul being back would mean being with the band that recorded under the Beatles name, though it had changed. That would include playing bass, since that is mostly what he did before and that is what Apollo wrote he did on Pepper "mainly". Now I'm very happy to learn that Apollo wrote he played on TWA and Abbey Road as well. Many thanks to you and Red Lion That means he was back and he was very alive. I'm interested by all the other things Apollo wrote that are not in the summary and that would shed more light on what happened. I think George Martin could have isolated bass lines ( maybe even some vocals) on previous tracks and merged them into new songs. And while we're at it, Faul teaches bass:

The real JPM had started playing bass only in 1961. He didn't really want to. I love the first Beatles songs, but I concede they were more simple than the latter ones. According to these websites that analyze the bass lines of Beatles songs, the basslines were simple too until the album "Rubber Soul". ' the pop music they played in these early years was much simpler than what can be found on the group’s later albums. Listen to his playing on “Can’t Buy Me Love” and “I Feel Fine” – classics from 1964 – and you’ll hear almost nothing but roots and fifths in the bass part.' ... Released in December 1965, Rubber Soul marked a clearly audible change in direction for the Beatles. blog.discmakers.com/2016/03/creative-genius-of-paul-mccartneys-bass-lines/'On the early albums Paul started with what we all do—banging away at roots and fifths. With every successive album Paul's basslines became more interesting and sophisticated. It's very insightful to listen to and study his basslines chronologically' www.studybass.com/lessons/harmony/heat-map-paul-mccartney 'According to musicologist Walter Everett, the most important new aspect to Rubber Soul’s “rainbow of colors” was McCartney’s adoption of the Rickenbacker bass. Its solid maple body provided a much more focused tone than did the hollow-body Hofner. McCartney played it through a Fender Bassman amplifier for the first time in the Rubber Soul sessions. 'Everett writes: “This combination produced a new sound, and it led McCartney to invent highly independent bass lines that would add a new melodic dimension to his continued role as the band’s harmonic foundation. He was now and forever after easily disposed to play rhythm guitar or keyboard for basic tracks, adding his bass track as an overdubbed counterpoint.' www.popularmusic.info/vieway.php?id=11 'Many of McCartney’s basslines work this way, creating counter-melodies and acting like another voice in the song. But while he can be a busy player, he just as often opts for simplicity and generally avoids what he calls “fiddly bits” in a recent video lesson.' www.openculture.com/2016/12/the-genius-of-paul-mccartneys-bass-playing-in-7-isolated-tracks.htmlBelieving that Paul died in 1966 makes a big hero out of him, but in fact it means his replacement was a better bass player than he was.

Believing that Paul died in 1966 makes a big hero out of him, but in fact it means his replacement was a better bass player than he was. Maybe, but if Paul is dead ( as I believe he is), it's not like they couldn't have brought somebody into the studio who is an excellent bass player like Jack Bruce or John Paul Jones.

Hi Jai, yeah, they could have brought anybody in the studio, even musicians and singers who didn't look like Paul (and like the other Beatles when they left). It didn't matter. For public appearances, they already had doubles. And the ones people thought were the Beatles were in fact doubles. I believe the real JPM left and came back, as Apollo C Vermouth wrote. But it didn't show because he already had many doubles.

Wow,crowd had like no sense of personal space;maybe fun at first then the Beatles' faces were like,"uh...,okay!!" Only the guest drummer remained on stage, the Beatles forced to leave their own stage....flash forward to Candlestick Park "caged" venue.

It's a shame some people can't have fun without going overboard. Crazy things like this and like the girls screaming were probably one of the reasons the Beatles started recording slower songs and eventually stopped touring. Then it was pretty much the end of the fun oldies songs everywhere.

By the way, in the first video, you can see Neil Aspinall running to the rescue and pushing the Beatles out. And notice what the girl besides Paul does, near the end. I am posting this for the Paul in the second video and all the other Pauls, including the one who jumped like a walrus (in the second video also) because he was John and then he was Paul also. I wish them all the best: good health, love, luck, happiness, success, etc.

Not only that but in a short time people will swear it was gospel. I don't think Ackrill has anything to do with this either. The line from Rock Show, "It's Silly Willy with that Philly Band" is a red herring. Making us think Ackrill may have been heavily involved with the Beatles. Denny Laine was part of a band with Ackrill. Nothing more. Except more misdirection in this lyric.
