There was a 4 hour plane delay, and now, they lost his luggage, so, it looks like there won't be an interview unless someone, 65if2007, goes to LAX to fetch his luggage. I think it is sitting beside a palm tree. Just kidding. ;D I wouldn't go to that much trouble. Iamaphoney is probably a lousy tipper. At least I got to keep the first set of luggage that I found.

This is just retarded. It didn't have to be his big production. IAAP could've just emailed the answers to the questions and made it much simpler. I don't understand why it wasn't done like that in the first place. Since 65If found the suitcase, I thought it would be in the bag (no pun intended). For this I risk snakebite. I have half a mind to throw everything back into Santa Susana Pass. It wouldn't be my fault if I did so. After all, my plane was late.

It's not April 11th in California. No, but it is at the Greenwich Meridian.

Even I'm pissed off about this, and that's saying a lot, considering how little of what IAAP does ever gets under my skin.

Just to be sure... can someone tell me the name of the airport and which flight was that? I would like to check if the delay occurred...

Anyone who has been watching the news should know that there has been a lot of delayed and/or cancelled flights recently, specifically from American Airlines'. The interview will still happen....just wait for IAAP to get back to Los Angeles, and you'll see.

Jude, I'm sorry but here in Italy the news don't inform us about the delays in the US....
Can someone answer my question, anyway?

Jude, I'm sorry but here in Italy the news don't inform us about the delays in the US.... Can someone answer my question, anyway? Well these delays don't only affect the US, obviously, but the world. Mike said that IAAP was on a plane from the West Indies. Perhaps he was flying on an American Airlines plane to LAX in Los Angeles, California.

I have half a mind to throw everything back into Santa Susana Pass. I think I know someone who hasn't listened to the Magic Christian record yet, even though iamaphoney clearly stated that there was something in the briefcase that's been overlooked so far..... You're partly right. I haven't listened to that record yet. The record doesn't interest me in and of itself, and I said several times that I had no interest in sitting through the whole thing unless I knew what it was that I was listening for -- but presumably it would be nothing that others hadn't heard before me. So I have no idea if there's anything in the sound track that would be of interest -- or what and where it would be -- or if the record was just included because of the writing on the label. I don't have ready access to a phonograph and I'm going to be immobilized for a few days so I'm not going to have access during that time. And iamaphoney hasn't "clearly" stated anything. He has never communicated with me. And he hasn't "clearly" stated anything to the world at large either. What he apparently said to Mike was "Your friend isn't telling you everything" and that was before I found and disclosed the writing inside the briefcase so I have no idea whether he was talking about that or something else. I MIGHT have gone to the trouble of listening to the record if iamaphoney had simply said "Listen to the record" -- which he hasn't done -- but I also first might have wanted to know more about what I was listening for or WHERE in the record I should be listening. I'm really not inclined at this point to act blindly.

You're partly right. I haven't listened to that record yet. It's actually not a bad way to spend a half hour once you have access to a phonograph. I always felt that the mix of "Come and Get It" by Badfinger was hotter on that album than on the Apple release. Could be my imagination, but it seemed that way. "Rock of Ages" was another one that seemed to jump out more for me. Plus, it's always good to hear Thunderclap Newman doing "Something In the Air." Don't freak out when you hear the machine guns on "Hunting Scene." And "Mad About the Boy" is hilarious.

no one can fight the force of a delayed plane...
i know it's kinda corny that IAAP has plane troubles, but it can happen to anyone you know...
and we've been waiting for 41 years now, another week of waiting shouldn't be a big of a deal at this point.. but i know it SUCKS, and i hate it as much as you do
