lol.... But honestly, I prefer this one to the original. It's just better overall, and plus I remember Joe Cockers version from intro to the Wonder Years tv show. Here's Cocker and Belushi singing "Feeling Alright", Cocker apparently had no idea Belushi was going to show up and was a bit angry about it. www.youtube.com/watch?v=v7bFtvsYcnQ&mode=related&search=til someone comes along and takes my place; with a different name, and a different face....

When I saw Best Beatles Cover I couldn't resist ;D I guess Cold Turkey isn't exactly a Beatles cover, but what-the-hell.... I'm postin' a download link anyway! This was the final song of a set performed in a w.TX honky tonk in 1983. www.ruddart.com/11%20Track%2011.wma

And yes, "Feelin' All Right" was the first PID/PWR song by another artist than the Beatles to be mentioned at this site.

I always thought Shatner's LSD was the best cover to be perfectly honest, he gave it that wistful edge!

Definately awesome, I like the beatles version better because the chorus is so simple, in Cocker and Belusci's it's kind of skynard sounding

why from lennon? TILL SOMEONE COMES ALONG TO TAKE MY PLACE WITH A DIFFERENT NAME AND A DIFFERENT FACE i think from paul's perspective The song is from Lennon's perspective with the possible exception of that part. But Lennon would also say that about himself as he is referring to what happened to Paul. 'Someone with a different name and a different face came along to take Paul's place so why not mine(John)?'
