Perdomo. But, yes it seems that the Dakota's doorman formerly took part in the Bay of Pigs invasion... A strange curriculum, no? Yeah it is odd. In what capacity and/or level of involvement was he in the Bay of Pigs invasion? A doorman job might seem a little dull to a personality type that would take part in such an operation? High security there at the Dakota, but still..

Lindsay Lohan dates Sean Lennon
The still young and skinny Lindsay Lohan is dating John Lennon’s son Sean, according to America’s New York Daily News newspaper.
Lindsay and Sean have been on a second date just two nights after they were first seen dining out together at New York restaurant Bette. It seems the pair met when Lindsay was researching for her new movie ‘Chapter 27′, about Sean’s father’s murder.
Lindsay Lohan’s new romance has denied rumors she is still dating on-off boyfriend Jared Leto, who actually plays Mark Chapman, John Lennon’s killer in ‘Chapter 27′ alongside Lindsay.
Meanwhile, last month, Sean sent out a desperate plea for women to date him, saying that he was “completely miserable” and wanted a lover with a high IQ, aged between 18 and 45. Could Lindsay Lohan be that woman?

review from sundance -- www.aintitcool.com/node/31352--------------------------- So last night I watched one of the most buzzed about films here at Sundance, Chapter 27, it wasnt buzzed because anyone had seen it, all the jibber-jabber was focused on Jared Leto/Lindsay Lohan starfucking and/or the move by a group of beatles fans to picket and boycott the film because it brings a sympathetic eye to Mark David Chapman, the man who killed John Lennon. Chapter 27 Written and Directed by JP Schaffer I originally took a stab at writing a review of this last night, but I trashed that after two tries, because very little happens for most of this movie in those reviews I merely tried giving a full-on scene-by-scene description of the entire movie. You cant spoil a movie where nothing happens for 2 hours culminating with a forty-second assassination scene. But that was a big mistake, because every scene of the film of the film is so mundane that reading a list of them is about as interesting as reading a strangers grocery list. If anyone is still interested in knowing more about the movie after reading this review, I can email you one of those other too detailed reviews by request. Except for about a minute of documentary footage the entire film follows around Mark Chapman (Jared Leto) through his days in New York prior to assassinating Lennon. Unfortunately these days are mostly spent asking people in front of the Dakota building if Lennon is coming back anytime soon or standing at the corner of the building holding a record of Lennons that he tells people he is trying to get autographed. To try to make things more interesting the entire film is full of Marks internal monologue via spastic voice-over, unfortunately he never says anything quite interesting. I dont know why anyone would make this film, it doesnt get in the mind of Chapman at all or tell anything interesting whatsoever. For the few minutes of the film that Chapman actually interacts with people rather than staring around and contemplating his repetitive voice-over thought nothing interesting happens. Lindsay Lohan plays a Beatles fan that occasionally spends time at the Dakota hoping to get a glimpse of Lennon. Unfortunately her character only has about five to ten minutes of screen-time and like most of the film very little happens in her presence except for a very awkward scene where she introduces Mark to toddler Sean Lennon. If you go in expecting Lohan to be a co-star in the film you are going to be quite disappointed, nonetheless she does a wonderful job in the little bit that she appears in the film. The other character (other than Dakota doormen, taxi drivers, and a silent hooker) that MDC encounters is a paparazzish photographer played by Judah Friedlander. Judah has about five more minutes than Lohan does in the movie, but its still stretching to even call it a supporting role. Judahs major moment is toward the end of the movie he takes a photo of Mark getting an autograph from Lennon and agrees to sell the photo to Mark the next day for fifty dollars. Judah is also pretty good the little he is in the movie. Jared Leto gives what could be an academy award winning performance in this boring shitty movie. Hes gained a lot of weight for his role in the film, unfortunately the director wants to ingrain this fact into your mind by obsessively photographing his naked belly for five or more minutes in his crappy motel room. Leto also has mastered the voice of MDC, but too bad he spends most of the movie repeating the same spastic voice-over thoughts. Tom Richmond was working on overdrive when he shot this movie, every scene is wonderfully photographed very dark and murkily. It very much suits the insanity of Chapman, but a well-photographed image can only go so far. The best thing about the movie actually is Anthony Marinelli. Just like Leto, Marinelli has delivered an award-winning score for what is a very crappy movie. At times the score nearly convinces you that you are watching tense and emotional sequences as you watch Chapman just standing around or bundling up in the cold. After watching the movie I still have no idea why Mark Chapman killed John Lennon, the only thing I know is that hes crazy and in the last bit of text apparently hes a born-again Christian now. See this movie only if you are interested in watching shots of Jared Leto standing in the cold or crossing streets while thinking maybe I shouldnt kill him nah I gotta kill him for a hundred or so minutes. Its kind of a depressing thought that this will probably get picked up this weekend for a ton of money. Between the photography, the cast, and the score one could cut a very good trailer for the movie and fool people into watching it. I feel for all the people at boycottchapter27.org now, I thought they were kind of wacky at first, but to be honest this is a very shitty movie that was made in the worst of taste, so it probably should be boycotted as its basically just exploiting the death of john lennon and seems to glorify Mark Chapmans insanity.

Last night's Entertainment T interviewed multi-millionairess daughter-of-NY Stock Exhange-Chieftain Lindsay Lohan on her way to the rehab clinic and she muttered quickly that she did "regret" palying the role that the ET announcer described as a "friend" to Mark David Chapman in the CIAhapman-glorifying, Lennon assassination-glorifying Hollywood movie.
They also interviewed Sean Lennon who said some words against the movie, and called Lindsay Lohan his "friend."
There was no mention anywhere in the segment of Lindsay Lohan being Sean Lennon's former girlfriend, as she was described at the time they were allegedly dating.
There was no mention anywhere in the segment of the Lindsay Lohan character being Mark David Chapman's romantic interest GIRLFRIEND in the upcoming lie-movie (in real life M.D. Chapman was married to a Japanese woman, Gloria Abe, and was never said to have a girlfriend at the time of the Lennon assassination).

About the murder of John Lennon, Mark David Chapman may have been demon possessed. www.ghosts-uk.net/modules/news/article.php?storyid=892Mark David Chapman - Did the devil make him do it? Colorado, USA (January 18, 2007) - For some, the murder of John Lennon by Mark David Chapman on that fateful evening of December 8, 1980 might seem like a straightforward case of ‘bad man pulls trigger’. However, according to an article in the Winter 2007 issue of Haunted Times Magazine, something more sinister may have been at work. The article “Did Demons Force Mark David Chapman to Murder John Lennon” written by internationally acclaimed paranormal investigator and medium, Chip Coffey, contains shocking information never before released to the public. In 1972, Chapman became friends with a Decatur, Georgia couple and their two young children. Shortly before meeting Chapman, the family had relocated to this four bedroom, two-story house. The couple’s seven-year-old daughter began exhibiting bizarre behavior almost immediately. She began screaming at night, cursing and violently attacking others as she repeatedly claimed to see a vision of an old man, which terrified her. Strangely enough, when the family relocated for a year due to the husband’s job transfer to Upstate New York, the daughter’s visions ceased and her behavior returned to normal. When the year was up and the family moved back into their Decatur home, the bizarre behavior started up again. Chapman was never told about these incidents. He claimed to have murdered John Lennon because he was commanded to do so by two demons that he had encountered in that same Decatur home. Witnesses saw Chapman sitting on a swing in the yard just weeks before Lennon’s murder more than a year after the family had moved. At trial, he did not use the insanity defense. Could demonic possession explain the senseless murder of one of rock ‘n’ rolls most beloved icons? Nothing will bring John Lennon back. But could his fans accept this theory for the brutal tragedy that they so desperately want to understand? Chris Moon, editor of Haunted Times magazine says, “Demonic possessions have long been an issue of interest and debate. There are recorded incidents as early as 4000 B.C. It was believed that demons were responsible for diseases of the mind and body. Priests were called to perform exorcisms. Throughout the centuries, the concept came to be adopted by some religious groups and rejected by others. Modern day is really no different.” Coffey, who has spoken with the family, states, “I look at odds. What’s the likelihood that he [Chapman] could have made this up? No-one outside of the four members of the Decatur family knew about what was going on in that house.” One thing is for certain, for Mark David Chapman, who shortly after his incarceration at Attica Correctional Institute called upon Jesus to rid him of the demons, as for the family he befriended in Decatur, there is no doubt that such demons do indeed exist. from ZetaTalk: zetatalk.com/index/zeta366.htm"(Question): I've recently seen a film about John Lennon and what a threat he was to the Establishment at the time. Under CIA surveillance and intimidation by Immigration, it seems that he would have been a big target for assassination and that Mark David Chapman was possibly not acting alone. What were the true circumstances behind John Lennon's death? Were others involved in the incident, and who are they? (Answer): Lennon has long been considered a case of assassination, and this is true. As with JFK, who seemed to be assassinated by Oswald alone, someone is put up as a front person, motivated and then blamed for all of it. Oswald thought he was doing what the CIA wanted, was told that as they were his handlers, and was killed quickly to silence him. Not all such arms are killed quickly to silence them, as this action brings suspicion. But the agent is motivated by threats, and fears a matter worse than death if they talk, so fall silent. They are truely used, in most cases, finding themselves in this situation after the fact, after the act. Since Lennon was hated by the US government, and was living in the US at the time, the type of black ops the CIA runs all over the world were used. Ignore the fact that the CIA is not supposed to operate in the US, this has never stopped them, and they operate on a need to know basis within the agency."

I hope nobody here takes "zetatalk" as a serious source about anything; but real death or fake death, the Dec. 8 1980 John Lennon (Charlie Brill?) Dakota incident must have had the CIA running the show.

From wikipedia (below): interesting that the Anglo-american powers that be just "coincidentally" have two films glorifying Chapman and the killing of John Lennon coming out at the same time, supposedly inependently of one another ---
In 1992 Jones published a book, Let Me Take You Down: Inside the Mind of Mark David Chapman, the Man Who Killed John Lennon. In 2000, with his first parole hearing approaching, Jones asked Chapman to tell his story for "Mugshots," a CourtTV Network program. Chapman refused to go on camera but, after praying over it, consented to tell his story in a series of audiotapes.[the same as he/they did for a PBS special in the 1980s] He told the Parole Board that the program "took a lot out of context, but that's okay." and that "Those three hours were really great, because I was able really — it was like a confession almost. I was able to accept my responsibility in this for probably the first real time, and I told him I didn't deserve anything. And that was the bulk of the interview, and that got missed totally."[38]
Chapman's experiences during the weekend on which he committed the murder have been turned in to a feature-length movie called Chapter 27, starring actor Jared Leto as Chapman and Lindsay Lohan as a Lennon fan who befriends him. The film's title is a reference to The Catcher in the Rye, which has 26 chapters, and was inspired by Chapter 27 of Robert Rosen's book Nowhere Man: The Final Days of John Lennon, according to the Spanish-language newsweekly Proceso [4] and other Latin American publications. Chapter 27 premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in January 2007 and received mostly negative reviews; the film failed to land a distributor in the USA. It has been picked up for distribution in Europe, Asia and South America.
Another film, The Killing of John Lennon, directed by Andrew Piddington and starring Jonas Ball as Chapman, premiered at the Edinburgh International Film Festival in August 2006.

Alright. Time to get some facts set straight here: 1. Mark David Chapman was never declared legally insane. Never, In prison he is being treated as he always has been: a sane human being. I believe this refutes Yoko's claims that if Chapman were ever released he'd go after he and Sean. Bullshit, the man has displayed such good behavior that he should have been out of prison years ago. 2. Mark David Chapman didn't shoot! It couldn't have been him! Hit the link below to find out why: www.jfkmontreal.com/john_lennon/scene/standing.htm3. It is, so, so, so, SO much easier to control someone's mind than many of you may think it is! Until recently I imagined a "Manchurian Candidate" situation---which is sketchy at best when you consider the technology they had to work with in 1980. There is a show playing on US television on Wednesday nights on the SciFi Network-- "Mind Control With Derren Brown[/b]." After watching only a few episodes, you'll be convinced that this man can make people do anything he wants them to do. He makes them think the things he wants them to think, and like the things he tells them to like. He shows how subliminal control is frighteningly simple to fall prey to. I have no doubt in my mind that similar tactics were used on Mark David Chapman; he didn't have to be abducted and brought into a top-secret military lab to undergo dozens of layers of subliminal suggestion---the thoughts were planted in his mind by everyday people. A taxi driver, a friend at work, a commercial on television.....if done right, the CIA could have made MDC do anything they wanted him to, especially if he was already a weak-minded individual.

Just got Salvador Astucia's book "Rethinking John Lennon's Assassination". (his name came up for a bit on this thread) The debate between Total and Doc was a while ago, but there was one point brought up.. the hollow point bullets and the story about them being thrown away. Thing is, part of the crime scene evidence were three bullet holes in the glass lobby doors.. Hollow points are designed to NOT exit, right? Did MDC even have bullets in his gun?
If you take the POV that MDC was a mind controlled patsy, it still would be a shock (even to MDC himself who no doubt believes he committed the crime to this day) to discover that he didn't even point a loaded gun.. Makes sense if the whole thing was planned for him to appear to be the shooter while someone else (a professional) did the job. Why chance it?

Jojo, HP bullets are designed to expand inside a "live" target without exiting, (flesh, bone, muscle etc) they will, however, penetrate glass or any other hard surface through and through like any other style bullet.

Thanks for the info RL. , Here's the thing, two bullets entered John's body and exited to the glass doors. There were only two bullet wounds inflicted here, (two were fired further back) but three glass door hits, indicating a miss perhaps? All the same, if these were MDC's HP bullets, then why the two extra glass door hits?

Salvador has his book online, may have been come up here before? From: www.jfkmontreal.com/john_lennon/Chapter01B.htmFifth, there are several accounts of shattered glass and bullet holes in glass doors; however, the specific location of the doors is somewhat ambiguous. In the book, Who Killed John Lennon?, writer Fenton Bresler presented Police Officer Steve Spiro's personal notes describing the crime scene. Regarding bullet holes in glass doors, Spiro wrote: "Turning to my right with the suspect [Chapman] I see the doorman, another male, and at least three bullet holes in the glass doors. My gun is now pointed toward the doorway."Table of contents: www.jfkmontreal.com/john_lennon/contents.htm

All the same, if these were MDC's HP bullets, then why the two extra glass door hits? In 1980 HP bullets in pistol ammunition were not at their peak performance, exhibiting both over penetration and under expansion. There is not a 100% guarantee that even a well placed shot will remain inside a human target even with today's bullet tech. If the point gets"plugged", say with a piece of heavy clothing like a leather jacket, the bullet will not act as a normal HP but rather a solid which would have greater penetration. That being said, I wouldn't be surprised if they penetrated all the way though the body and window glass as well. Here is an example of a jacketed and lead round nosed bullets Here is a fired and expanded HP bullet along with its unfired counterpart

Was talking to someone recently, and he told me that a friend of his saw a documentary that had something to do with the CIA/mind control/brainwashing. The friend doesn't know much else regarding the title, only that he saw it on Link TV: www.linktv.org/ This is key, the friend said that somewhere in the program it's stated that Jose Perdomo made a deathbed confession to killing Lennon. Now, with all these uncertainties, obviously it would be great to see this to get a handle on the context, how strong an assertion was made, (if any) etc. Problem is, I can't find anything on the Link TV site that could be a strong match. So, if anyone may have seen anything like this, please make a post or PM me. Another matter.. I was digging through the archives of the NY Times in the time frame of the murder and a few months after. Have a look at this: www.jojoplace.org/Shoebox/NyTimes_misc/nytimes8_25_81.pdfAllen Sullivan states that on his first trip to New York that lasted from late October through mid November, (remember, MDC was supposed to have planned on killing Lennon on this first trip then changed his mind or couldn't get access to Lennon, whichever) MDC was advised that he shouldn't bring bullets on the plane trip from Hawaii to NYC because the "bullets would be damaged by the air pressure". So, we have the official prosecutor stating that MDC comes to NYC WITHOUT bullets, not because he "forgot" them as other sources have stated. All the same, no bullets means a trip to Georgia to buy hollow point bullets from his "police friend". But wait a second, what the prosecutor seems to forget to mention is that MDC flew to Georgia and back (on this first stay in NY remember) and seems to not have had a problem with the air pressure issue. Then, after seeing the movie "Ordinary People", Mark decides to return to Hawaii. Albert Goldman claimed that Mark threw away the bullets while back home.. Goldman has his detractors true, but the important part is that the gun and bullets made the trip back to Hawaii and of course again to NY in December, for a grand total of three chances for the "air pressure" to damage the bullets. I know someone will of course say that a change in air pressure, especially the minor amount in a pressurized plane would have no effect, (I agree) but the point is that for some weird reason Mark believed it and then didn't believe it, (it would seem) and this has never been addressed anywhere to my knowledge.

By chance I have been reading about the subject of Mind Control for the last couple of nights. Mind Control: America's Secret War video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-2927316845773056069en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mind_controlen.wikipedia.org/wiki/DIMPACQuite an interestinig story of how a group of scientists were comissioned to study the usage of mind contol in every day life and how their report was killed. Their findings may have had something to do with that! Religion, TV, Politics, Entertainments Industry, Government, Education - just some the the areas in which mind control techniques just might be useful IMO.

Anyway, three bullet holes were in the glass door, and to further clarify, five shots were fired, four hit Lennon, and three made it to the glass door.

A look at the cover of Salvador's book: I would say Mr. Astucia writes about the topic of Lennon's assassination in a way most authors in the subject do not, in that he endeavors to connect the dots in a new way. It's perhaps time to look at the circumstances of John's death as objectively as possible, for example you just can't ignore Perdomo's affiliation with the Bay of Pigs invasion, possible CIA connections, etc. I'd also say it's one of the best books I've read on the subject.. It's fair to say he's also hampered by the same problem we have with our subject matter.. Trying to connect the dots with the information that is publicly available. For example, he tried to acquire a copy of the autopsy report and was told he could only get it with the permission of the next of kin. (fat chance) He was only able to get a police report written in the most terse language possible, hardly something worth building a case for murder. So, I would say he does an amazingly good job working with the deck he is handed.

Been a while since I got some old publications, first time about anything surrounding the Lennon murder. Couple of Daily News (Dec 9 & 10) and The NY Post from Dec 9) Scanned a few.. What I don't understand is how those three bullet holes got into the doorway if the diagram is to believed. The doctor reported that John had seven wounds, two in his arm, three in his chest, and two in his back. If Chapman had emptied all five shots, the amount of wounds could be accounted for: Subtract two for the left arm, leaving three. Then, as John supposedly heard Chapman say "Mr Lennon" and turned to face him, three shots went into the chest, with two exiting out the back, the hollow point bullets not doing what they were supposed to do in two out of three times. Except for one problem.. The bullet holes in the door off to the right... Odd what the witness said in the Dec 9 story from the Daily News: "She said she then saw a man walk over to the building security guard and heard him say, 'I would leave here if I were you'.

The doorway, from a CBS news report the next evening: Even more so, don't understand how it reconciles with this: If the drawing is correct, the bullets all came at John from right to left, then made a hard right turn, and all met together at the glass door. The Warren Commission had just one magic bullet, this is three!
