It's been at least a few years now, the last thing I remember following was that incredible Sgt. Pepper thread with Metatron's cube on the cover (possibly my favourite NIR thread of all-time). Yes, I remember all three of those handles well - I think you would have been Letter B the last time I was here. Ahh yes, and good ol' P(D) - god, it's all coming back to me now, had lots of good times here... glad to see phoney-fever has died down a bit though. It's been interesting looking back through some of the older posts, there were more than a few things I'd completely forgotten about - and it looks like there's plenty for me to catch up on too - so it's back to those long late night NIR reading sessions again

Cheers Beatlas, found it now lol - think the new (newer than I remember anyway) Proboards layout must have thrown me off... I really haven't been here for a long old time lucyAye, am I indeed? Glad to see some of the old guard posting still! How are we keeping, my dear? Wow, now that picture certainly brings back memories ... some fond, some - just plain strange lmao!! Are we any closer to an answer?

Hi All, As the title of this thread suggests, I haven't been here for a very long time; not sure how many of you from 'back in the day' are still here, but I'd like to think (hope) that some of you still remember me So much has happened in the world since I was last here, especially regarding the kind of subject matter that gets discussed on these boards, that it seemed stupid not to come back and check in. So, for any of you that don't know me... uhh, hello - hows it goin'? (I was never too good with introductions lol) I do have one question... my old ritual whenever I visited here was to head to the 'recent posts' section and catch up on anything I'd missed. It doesn't seem to be there anymore - am I being blind, or has it moved/been removed? tfDi

well, if anyone can suggest a more 'Fauly' count-in to use, its fairly easy for me to screen-cap the resulting image.

the range in color from black through purple to red, then orange and finally yellow is the volume of that specific frequency (y axis) at any given time (x axis).
from what i can see, there appear to be certain frequencies (the horizontal yellow lines) that are emphasized (brighter yellow) and some that are de-emphasized (orange). this is what i am taking to be the 'voice-print', along with the corresponding "lines" for each harmonic/overtone.

howmusicreallyworks.com/Pages_Chapter_3/3_2.html"Your voice and all other human voices have unique overtone signatures. You can easily tell different human voices apart, even when you can’t see who’s talking or singing. This capability of the human brain makes possible industries such as radio broadcasting and sound recording." the link above paints a fairly elementary picture of overtones and harmonics; the vertical axis on the spectrograph is the frequency in Hz.

i've been saying i'd look into this for ages now... possibly years - and never have. so tonight, out of the blue, i finally sat down and made a decent comparison: no.1 is from take 1 of day tripper no.2 is from the beginning of the sgt pepper reprise both samples are "1, 2, 3, 4" count-ins make your own conclusions

bit late for this i know, but better late than never as they say... following on from the repeated references to the lion of judah and after a long internet binge (working hard at the office) i noticed something today (gasp). In the Rastafari culture, the lion of Judah is an adopted emblem, representing (namely): 'JAH'...or the 'YH' part of the tetragrammaton YHVH ... which is: yod, he right-to-left: YOD HE VAU HE so anyway, if you google "Lion of Judah" the most common depiction you will find is that of the crowned lion in profile, carrying a scepter (not shown). יה..."Rawr!" YOD HE ... isn't that neat?

For the past 6 months I have been subscribed to a Numerology newsletter, in which the basic tenets of numerology are explained email by email. I haven't really followed it for a while, so I thought I'd go back to the beginning and refresh my memory. One of the original emails discussed the "Life Path" number - here's what they say about people with a life path number of "22": Sound familiar? Birth name: James Paul McCartney Born: 18 June 1942 (1942-06-18) (age 68) Liverpool, England, UK 1+8 = 9 0+6 = 6 1 + 9 + 4 + 2 = 7 9 + 6 + 7 = 22

Here are some shots of some actual secret handshakes. that's more like it ;D yes, the ones i'm used to seeing are usually between heads of state etc. ie the pope and any president/prime minister. it looks like the way you would hold an old/frail persons hand - i'm guessing with the thumb pressed to the 2nd or 3rd knuckle ... any road, can we take this to mean that the beatles were sending the whole thing up in a satirical way? not that they were particularly explicit about it by may '67 i'm sure they would have been well aware of the possible connotations implied by such a 'nudge nudge, wink wink' handshake photo or can we just take it to be a completely innocent handshake? is anything that 'set-up' looking innocent? and... am i the only one who sees a giant cosmic handshake in P(D)'s diagram of the great pyramid lol ... or was that the point? edit: and those are some seriously cheesy grins!!

well, did we point out the obvious Mason handshake that they are hysterical over ? yeah, it's really funny isn't that meant to be some kind of distress signal.. is there no help for the widow(er)'s son?

see, i struggle picking out these masonic handshakes - most often the timing is a dead giveaway - but even then, very rarely will i see a properly executed handshake. this is a case in point: very obvious, its right there centre-stage - really it seems to be the impetus for the whole shot ... yet compared to your helpful illustration above/below.. wherever it is in relation to this post.. the positioning is way off. i feel like i'm missing the point
