Some of you have already seen this one, but it is most definately my most favorite. The story behind it goes...I was watching the special features of the Concert for George DVD one night and the image changed from an interview shot of Dhani to an old still shot of George. I wanted Tess to see their resemblence and paused the DVD accidentally right on the spot where the image is in transition between the interview shot of Dhani and the still pic of George. This is what I got. I loved it so much that I made a screen grab of it. It made the hair on the back of my neck stand up, and brought a tear to my eye. I call this WithinYouWithoutYou. Feel free to snag it if you like. Someone has already used to for their desktop wallpaper LC

i've got a new one. i LOVE this one. and i want that DVD!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D I have that DVD! But if I said it was a great one, I think it would be misleading. I mean, well, I enjoyed it but in contrast to CFG, it pales. There IS some interesting info on it though and it's great to have in your collection.

I know what you mean. I recently purchased "How I Won The War" just so I would have it in my collection. In all it's not a very good movie at all, but it was interesting to watch JWL playing his part in it, which turns out isn't a very large role.

So y'all think ya got it bad with yer Beatle-collector thing. I've recently got that bug after PID got me hooked. But there's already (& have been) several weird underground bands that have me to where I gotta have everything they put out. Ditto with a few metal bands Ditto with a few oldies besides the Beatles. Ditto with Mystery Science Theater 3000. Ditto with (thanks to my grand daughter) Scooby Doo It's all I can do to keep up with everything. If I had an ol'lady I'd be in big trouble. OK... here's a George pic for y'all.

Why does george have such a big head in the top one? It looks like the photographer was using a lens with a slight fisheye effect to get the guitar to look like it does, so his head would catch some of that effect also.

That beautiful old fashioned microphone seems immense. Is it the camera lens? It doesn't matter, though. It just really doesn't matter. I'd like to know what song is being recorded there? Or is it just a pose?

Why does george have such a big head in the top one? That is the effect you get when a wide angle lens is used up close. The closer a subject is to the edge of the viewing area, the more skewed it becomes. I'm not a professional photographer, but I've managed to mess up enough of my own pics with a 35mm camera to be able to notice it ;D If I was guessing, I'd say that it was shot with a 24mm wide angle lens, or perhaps even a 35mm lens, but by the amount of distortion I'd say that it was most likely a 24mm. And not to belabor a point, and I realize that this IS a George Harrison thread, such lens distortion is why Ringo's head appears so skewed in the Sgt Pepper photos. I have a comparision pic that I cut from the 'middle' of one taken in the same photo session, it appears in the Anthology book. BTW, eyesbleed, great pics of George! I think I like the second one a little better because he appears he was caught in the act of 'boogying' ;D
