How would anybody know the hitch-hiker's name if she burned to death? Hi Kaleidoquake! Just listen to John's song "Remember Love" reversed. The one that Yoko sings in the album "Two Virgins" - "Unfinished Music 1". You will be able to listen: "Lost head in an accident" "Paul & Marie ... Paul & Marie". The name of the girl who died in the accident with Paul is "Marie".

Hi viboranay. Welcome back. My point is that, imagining he was driving along, as the story goes, and he picked up a hitch-hiker, if they both died in the wreck, she burning to death, how on earth would anyone know who she was? How would she have been identified? IDs, if she had one, were made of paper in those days. The British aren't particularly known for their love of dentistry, so dental records to be used forensically would be unlikely. No one knew she got in the car, except the other person who died. So, how would anyone have known the name of the woman found burned to death in the passenger seat and, for that matter, how would they have known she was a hitch-hiker? And why all the conflicting names for her in PID-lore? Probably, because she's made up -- as is, I believe the most popular story of the car wreck.

Very good questions K...and one of the main reasons I don't believe Paul died at all. And The Memoirs make that whole scenario both before and after the so-called car accident even more fantastical IMHO.

It would be nice for research purposes to have it here in the thread.

Remember Love reversedLost his head in accident Paul & Marie, Paul & Marie
Keep in mind Yoko's pronunciation when she sings. It seems that she said "Paul & Many, Paul & many". ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Now that I hear it, I hear "Paul & Many". "Many" or "Mani" can be a woman's name? I just can not hear Marie like I said before. I do not want to lie to you about this. "Lost his head in accident ... Paul & Many, Paul & Many." About him losing his head in an accident is heard clearly. Well, well, well. At least I left the audio that you asked me here. Then draw your own conclusions.

One and one and one is three. 3/10 October 3rd, 1966... (sorry for my bad English) It is hard for me believe this is Paul death date. Beatle Bible say on that day Brian Epstein say rumors about Paul McCartney leave band are not true. Meaning that rumor already exist by that date. It is possible they find replacement that day. So "he die" mean that his old identity die and is re born into Paul McCartney

For a role in a picture? what picture? I am not sure. They maybe confuse it with fact he apparently is working on film soundtrack in October 1966.

Yes, it seems he was - but if your writing music for film what does the length of hair have to do with that? odd
