Just got the Bill Harry Book, "The Paul McCartney Encyclopedia" and found this very interesting bit under "Isaac Asimov". What do you think of this?

"Venus and Mars" "Back To the Egg" "I can see the world tonight" Probably many more. He's been trying to point his listeners toward that "out-of-this-world" mindset for some time. I would imagine that an entire screenplay might be too heavy- handed a vehicle for the subtle nudges his music has been designed to convey. He wants you to see it, but not make it into "Star Wars". At least, that was the case in 1974. Subtlety was key, I guess. But other groups were also pushing that concept musically and on their album cover art.

"A terrestrial pop group being replaced by alien imposters".....
Hmmmm Where would Bill get that idea? Major Tom? Capt. Kirk? Mr. Spock? Ziggy Stardust?
Reminds me of Charlie Brill on Star Trek...
....talk about being "spaced out".....

For those of us with dial-up; no speakers, etc., here's the song. The intro goes to "The plan had begun". I apologize for the capitals; that's how my source printed the lyrics. In the intro, people are talking. The yellow is the voice of one person.

Note similar beginning to Hendrix's "Axis Bold As Love" Lp: " EXP" (Hendrix) [Announcer: ] Good evening, ladies and gentlemen. Welcome to radio station EXP. Tonight we are featuring an interview with a very peculiar looking gentleman who goes by the name of Mr. Paul Corusoe on the dodgy subject of are there, or are there not, flying saucers or UFOs? Please Mr. Corusoe, please could you give us your regarded opinion on this NONSENSE about spaceships, and even space people? [Mr. Corusoe: ] Thank you. As you well know, you just can't believe everything you see and hear, (voice pitch goes from stuffy; dignified to "alien") can you! Now, if you'll excuse me, I must be on my way. (Space noises start echoing through the studio.)[Announcer:] Bu...but,but...gulp...I,I don't believe it! (Spaceship "reving up" noises follow.)[/b][/i] (goes into the song "Up From the Skies") "The Plan" had begun[/b][/color] all right :www.hecklerspray.com/awesome-or-off-putting-actual-recording-of-astronaut-ufo-encounter/20064497.php

Isaac Asimov's son was arrested for child pornography in California.
Form wikipedia:
David Asimov (b. 1951) is the son of science fiction writer Isaac Asimov. He achieved notoriety in 1998 with child pornography and felony exploitation of a child in Sonoma County, California, following the discovery of "may be the biggest child pornography collection in Sonoma County history" [1] [2]. These charges never resulted in incarceration; instead, Asimov was sentenced to six months of house arrest with an electronic monitoring bracelet.
