When I was asking you where it came from, I wasn't really asking you where it came from , just reminding you that it came from a magizine, and you said not to use them. Nope that's not what she said.. Which pic from the cd are you talking about?

I'm talking about your pic. so was I. I never said any such thing. your question was not addressed to "most people here". It was addressed to me. And I have offered no opinion on the "red Pepper pic".

JoJo, I'm talking about the one Revolver uses to try to convince us it wasn't stretched. I never said any such thing. You're right, my bad. Looks like I'm "painting you all with the same brush" again. *rolls eyes at myself*

Why not? If it's the same person the nose should stay the same. Are you saying John may have been replaced too?

In that nose, I see very small differences. In Paul and Faul's I see notcable differences and so does just about everyone on this board.

The way to tell a fade between two pictures of the same person is simple, even if the pic shows two different facial expressions, it looks like a movie, like taking two frames in a film and running them together. Two different people faded looks like well...two different people, there's not enough of, or lack of continuity.
I think that was the Lennon fade was intended to show perhaps...(you gotta see it I guess)

Not the cover shot, the one from the 80's CD release. Most people here seem to think it's more reliable than the original. I guess I'm still confused, because while that pic may be on the cd (which I don't have) it's not on the original vinyl cover or insert. (which I do have) So where is the "original"? I guess the idea was that it's not reliable because it doesn't match with pre-67 Paul, and it must have been stretched? Hmmm..

No, we think it's stretched mainly because it looks stretched compared to a lot of other "Faul" pics. Anyway, for the hell of it: It's not really supposed to match up, the head is at different positions. It's more of a comparison than a fade that's supposed to match up.

FP,you are truly the master of the PID fade. I didn't know that 2 people matching up meant that they're 2 different people!

It's a perfect match. We are clearly looking at two pictures of the same person. The features agree to perfection. Both are pictures of William. They are very good pictures of him, very flattering.
But, my "guess", based on a limited number of images, is that Paul's overall face was short and boxy, or even "round", not long and aquilline.
But, whatever. In the end, everybody's head, sans hair, looks a little bit like an upside down egg. Medium, Large, Extra large, and Jumbo. As every hen surely knows.

I win. I must concede this is a very good fade. If both pics were black and white, Faul didnt have a stache, and the head shape, forehead, nose , chin, jawline matched up somewhat one would be hard pressed to tell that two photos were even being faded.

Uh, the headshape and forehead do match up. And how can you expect his chin, jawline to match up when you mouth is open? For the nose, make the expression Paul is making, and tell me your nostrils don't flare.

1- Comparisons between photos takn from a perspective view has no scientific value.
2- There is no feature that don't change = there is no feature that match.
"Father forgive them"
