Don't know if this is a common pic seen of the man Billy Shears...but I thought I would give this site The first pic reminds me of the White Album pic. It's not from that period, but it appears as though Bill wanted to be taken back where he came from...at least in this picture. www.fortunecity.com/tinpan/mccartney/639/photos46.html

I like to think of this as Bill "incognito".....or "The Man of a 1000 faces".

Here's another link, scroll down past the psychedelic pics of the Fab Four till you get to some strange Bill pics.... www.fortunecity.com/tinpan/mccartney/639/photos26.htmlIt appears the "chicklet" man is on the loose again. The picture at the bottom of this thread looks like Bill is trying to look like someone else...He surely doesn't look like JPM

Just out of interest, i'm 20 now and I read/heard about PID when I was 14ish yet didn't believe till I was 16ish! Hey, I was 14-ish when Sgt.P was 1st released. The illusion worked just fine. Then I saw "Paul's" 93 tour & was still fine with the whole thing..... I certainly didn't have a clue until a buddy came by wantin' me to get online & check out this website he just heard about on some PID radio show. But for an artist, I'm not very observant, so I probably don't count anyway! Lookin' back at the Sgt.P cover now, it's really hard to imagine bein' so blind to something so (seemingly) obvious now....... but most everybody was.

Eyesbleed, isn't that the truth. My dad is an artist. As soon as I began investigating the PID thing, I had him look at photos. He could immediately see the differences between the two men. I'm talking just the head & facial anomalies. Then when you add the fact that Paul & Bill have different builds... My dad could see it all rather quickly. Not bad for an old fart ;D Rita, that website is a goldmine of photos. Bill really does look different than Paul. The photo of him in the mustard suit is from 1967. He looks a good 10 years older than Paul's "supposed" 25 years !

How long did it take for you to belive DarkHorse? Just out of interest, i'm 20 now and I read/heard about PID when I was 14ish yet didn't believe till I was 16ish! Well I remember hearing about the Paul-is-dead phenomenon when I was about 12 and being intrigued. The idea that the Beatles went to the lengths that they did to leave these clues about Paul dying was something not to be ignored. Then shortly after my brief interest in the subject, I went along with everyone else and thought it was a "hoax". Then I became a fan of the fab four when all of the Beatles recordings were released on CD(in the late 80's) and was convinced it was a hoax like everyone else and never thought about it too much....but still wondered why the Beatles would play around with their fans this way. Then later on I became a "conspiracy theorist", a "nut" in the eyes of anyone else besides a conspiracy theorist. This happened after seeing the movie JFK. To make a long story short, after perusing David Icke's website one day, I came across the link titled "I Buried Paul" and it linked to the original 60IF website with the fades of Paul and Bill. Believe it or not, after viewing the fades, I actually thought "Oh, I guess he did die." Then the next 2-3 months was spent gathering information on the subject. It wasn't examining clues that I did per se, it was watching videos and comparing photographs and listening the "voice" on all of Paul's songs. I had convinced myself that Paul was at least replaced after this investigative period and here we are today.... ;D

This entire story of PID and being replaced should be something all age groups should be intrigued with.
A friend of mine was an Early Beatles fan, until the strange music of post 1966. When we showed her the PID facial comparisons, she was shocked, but believed it. She said when she was young her and a friend would draw pictures of JPM. But when Faul came on the scene, and she didn't realize it was Faul at that time, but she and her friend could not draw Bill. Both being artists, it just wasn't the same for them.
I suppose if you want to find someone who's into the New age things, like looking at "auras", if she/he would be able to see there's a difference because it would not be the same "essense". I'm not into this stuff, but someone out there may be and want to explore that area of spirituality.

That's true, Rita. I don't know much about auras. I do know that if you look into the eyes of Paul late 1966 & Bill early 1967, you'll see two very different people looking back at you. Paul was not happy, & there was usually pain in his eyes. Bill, on the other hand, looked like the "cat who swallowed the canary " ! Paul: Bill:

I forced myself into denial after being linked to the original fades site, but kept coming back to it. It sparked a great reinterest in the subject for me, and I immediately ran out and repurchased Sgt. Pepper, Magical Mystery Tour, the White Album, and Abbey Road. That's when I couldn't deny it anymore.
The thing that I constantly harp about is how it seems that nobody can just look at the lyrics of so many of their post '66 songs and see that they were singing about replacing Paul. While comparison pictures between the two Pauls are stirring, what did it for me was examaning the meaning of their music.
The most obvious songs:
-Strawberry Fields Forever - Yes, yes, Strawberry Fields was named after a childhood landmark of John Lennon... BUT WHY DOES NOBODY EVER WONDER WHAT THE SONG IS REALLY ABOUT? Christ Almighty!
-Hello, Goodbye - I always laugh at the official explanation for this song. Their second most blatant PWR song.
-All You Need is Love - Seriously, how can anybody hear this and not figure out it out? This is the MOST blatant song they've ever done on the subject. It boggles the mind how nobody processes this.
The PID "hoax" of '69 really did a great whitewash on this subject. People think it's all about album covers, backwards clues, and small soundbites inserted here and there, but it's not. It's about the songs themselves, with clues less about the fate of Paul and more about how they replaced him. It's less about what's found in Sgt. Pepper (although those are very important too) and more about what's found in the Magical Mystery Tour album. Ever wonder why it took them so long to release that one outside of America? The way it's organized tells a story, from automobile accident (Magical Mystery Tour) to Bill's acceptance into the band (All You Need is Love). That's the album that really opened my eyes on the matter.

Here's one of Bill from that site where you can see what I think is a lot of plastic surgery scars around his left eyelid.
