OK, I fully expect him to say he channels Paul McCartney next! Well ok not really, but this is a little odd you must admit: McCartney says he hears Lennon in his head:- NEW YORK | September 04, 2005 10:11:57 PM IST Paul McCartney says he sometimes channels the late John Lennon as he sits down to write new material.
When I write, there are times -- not always -- when I hear John (Lennon) in my head, McCartney told Time magazine. I'll think, OK, what would we have done here?, and I can hear him gripe or approve.
McCartney's latest album, Chaos and Creation in the Backyard is due out Sept. 30. It's the former Beatle's 20 solo release and took two years to record with McCartney playing almost all the instruments.
McCartney told Time he was looking forward to his U.S. tour in support of the album. His first show is Sept. 16 in Miami.
It'll be great not to be out there with a crap album, singing songs I don't care much about he said. (UPI)tinyurl.com/dbws6

Here we go again.. McCARTNEY FELT LENNON'S PRESENCE AT BEATLES REUNION
SIR PAUL McCARTNEY is convinced late rocker JOHN LENNON took on the form of a white peacock and visited his former THE BEATLES bandmates during a recording session for his song FREE AS A BIRD.
McCartney, GEORGE HARRISON and RINGO STARR performed backing music to accompany an old Lennon vocal recording to produce the 1995 single to accompany the release of the ANTHOLOGY series.
But when the three former Beatles posed outside the recording studio for a photoshoot, a white peacock mysteriously joined them.
McCartney recalls, "That's John. Spooky, eh? It was like John was hanging around. We felt that all through the recording." 20/09/2005 09:09tinyurl.com/cq2ew

more on that one hehe:
Paul McCartney says Lennon haunted record Sir Paul McCartney believes John Lennon haunted the recording of the 1995 Beatles single 'Free As A Bird' - in the form of a white peacock. The rock legend, Ringo Starr and George Harrison posed for a photograph outside the studio where the track was recorded - when the bird wandered in shot at the last minute from a neighbouring farm. The singer said: "That's John. Spooky, eh? It was like John was hanging around. We felt that all through the recording."
McCartney also believes John made his presence felt on the single's B-side. He revealed: "We put one of those spoof backwards recordings on the end of the single for a laugh, to give all those Beatles nuts something to do. I think it was the line of a George Formby song. Then we were listening to the finished single in the studio one night, and it gets to the end, and it goes, 'zzzwrk nggggwaaahhh jooohn lennnnnon qwwwrk.' I swear to God. "We were like, 'It's John. He likes it!"
McCartney has also admitted he still misses John and his other late bandmate, George Harrison. He confessed in an interview with the Observer Music Monthly: "I can't quite believe it's over with George. It's just a really sad feeling sometimes. "Same with John, except with John's death there was all this anger too. The jerk of jerks to shoot someone like John Lennon. And now Georgie's gone too. It's not a nice feeling. Not nice at all."
'zzzwrk nggggwaaahhh jooohn lennnnnon qwwwrk.' I LOVE IT hehehe

We put one of those spoof backwards recordings on the end of the single for a laugh, to give all those Beatles nuts something to do. Heh, "Beatles nuts". Now who was he talking to? Now I'm kinda curious, and that cd single actually had 3 "b sides" in a sense, it's not like a 45 with literally two "sides". www.geocities.com/SunsetStrip/Alley/5118/beatles/free_as_a_bird-cds.htmlSounds like "Christmas Time is Here Again" is the likely candidate. Wish I had this version.

When I write, there are times -- not always -- when I hear John (Lennon) in my head, McCartney told Time magazine. I'll think, OK, what would we have done here?, and I can hear him gripe or approve. I was listening to Howard Stern today, and he said when he walked into the room where Bill was backstage before the show, he was the middle of saying: "John is in the room with me!" He went on to imply that Bill was having a laugh about that, or making light of it.

Perhaps Sir Faul was channeling through a Band of Gypsies. Who else did he "conjure up" Jimi Hendrix? Brian Jones? Brian Epstein? Lawrence Welk?

He better make up with his "dead bandmates". I'm sure they're not happy about the fact that he's still keeping up this facade.

Maybe so. Actually, I think he's too stupid to realize that whatever power he has here is left behind when he "crosses over ".

Sylvia Brown is a witch...she tells alot of half truths, and when you get to the core of it, half truths are still lies. She tells people in the audience that everyone goes to heaven..... While not getting on any religious subject, think about it....that does not even make sense.
Then you have people who will ask, "My mother/father/grandmother/grandfather/dog died....do they have a message for me?/are they around me?/what killed them?/
Back to Bill channeling Harrison....I wonder if he taps tables, or does he use a Ouija Board?

I think that George just whacks him upside the head when he gets it wrong. After having too many migraines to count, Bill finally "Gets it " !!! ;D BTW, I agree with you about Sylvia Brown. She's no more a " messenger of light", than Bill is Paul

It may be the ratings when she's on that appeals to Montel.

I wouldn't be surprised if that is a good portion of the reason. She also must've told him something about himself or those close to him, that cause him to have so much faith in her.
