Ya, where's JoJo's excellent thread of photos documenting the journey of the part? Did that get lost in the shuffle somewhere?
Ya, I don't know about anybody else, but I've parted my hair on the left all my life.... except when I had waist-length hippie-hair & it was parted down the middle...... There is no way that I could start parting my hair on the R side after all this time. It just wouldn't work. At least not without putting lots of goop on it every day.
So my part has only moved about an inch. From high left to the middle, then back to high left again.

Two Bills and three Pauls. The two Bill images are a long time after the part moved back to where it was supposed to be. Bill # 1, Mccartney II, was released in 1995. Bill #2 is not a young Bill, that's self evident.
Paul #1 is outdoors and at the beach, I remember this one. Paul #2 is outdoors, this is from Help! Maybe the hair got mussed up and maybe it didn't.. Paul #3 has the part on his left, I don't know why this one is even offered as an example.
Just a coincidence maybe, but The Who sang:
"The parting on the left, is now parting on the right, And their beards have all grown longer overnight!"
and.. "Then I'll get on my knees and pray We don't get fooled again!"
Meet the new Boss..
Same as the old Boss..

Maybe when Paul had his moped accident, he got a scar on the left side of his forehead, and wanted it to be covered. But he liked having a part on his head so... he obviously just switched it. Bottom right pic: The main part is on his right. And a small one on his left.

McCartney II was released 1980. My apologies, research in haste, repent at leisure. I thought that must be wrong, but it was getting late..

Not necessarily about Bill, but who knows? ;D

Can we get back on topic? I find those Who lyrics quite interesting myself. I never thought about those lyrics in that context before, but you guys might be on to something. Who knows.................

nice find with the who song! wonder how many other bands of that time have sung about it!? Ya it's not surprising that The Stones & The Who would know about this & write a few lyrics about it. Of course nobody understood the significance at the time. Who knows if any other major bands did this back then. There's a few silly songs in the PID box. Nothing like The Who & The Stones. Mainly just no-talents trying to get on the bandwagon.

nice find with the who song! wonder how many other bands of that time have sung about it!? For awhile now I've been championing the idea that the Rolling Stone's Ruby Tuesday is a Paul is Dead song. Nice catch on Won't Get Fooled Again. Hah, you never know...

IMO Faul's part doesn't look natural on his left. It makes him look even less like Paul to me. That and his detached earlobe.

Paul can put his hair part in any direction he wants. Yes, he can put his hair part in any direction he wants, but he still won't be Paul.
