Someone made an observation over at the Maccacentral forum, that one of the songs on the bonus CD of the deluxe edition is entitled "222"... and that the issue # of the famous Batman comic is.. #222. NIR Batman comic threadWow! I love this clue. Thanks so much for sharing this! You're right, that is a cool clue and one that I would never have noticed!

Wow! I love this clue. Thanks so much for sharing this! You're right, that is a cool clue and one that I would never have noticed! Really important! It's like I said here before, that Batman Comic 222 is the best clue as to what actually happened (all the Beatles were killed except for Paul).

Here's a question that I don't think I've seen here yet regarding the title itself. Sorry if it's been previously mentioned. Does anyone else think that Memory Almost Full might possibly allude to someone who has been successfully programmed to the point where its no longer necessary? That's a veeeeeeery interesting point there! Could very well be. That would be something! Well I've been meaning to talk to you about it for some time...No. I don't think that's quite it. Some of the stuff on Bill's albums is focused around himself, as a regular person, like the song about "On the day that I die, I would like songs to be sung" etc. But when he's singing lyrics like "Find me in my field of grass: Mother Nature's Son", he's speaking as the voice of a deity, not as a mere mortal, and he does it all the time! When he says "I can see the world tonight; look into the future", or "I go back so far, I'm in front of me", he's not speaking as your "average JoJo", imo. So while it's true that he's saying that as a person, his memory is almost full, there may be another level: {"Backwards Traveler": (Bill)}"Hey, Did you know that I'm always going back in time? Rhyming slang, Auld Lang Syne, my dears. Through the years I am the Backwards Traveler; Ancient wool unraveller. Sailing songs; Wailing on the moon
And we were sailing songs; Wailing on the moon" ------ Is this a time-traveler from the future? Was the someone who was singing sailing songs, and wailing on the moon - a mere mortal? "A good friend of mine {a fellow crew member?} studies the stars; {and reports that} "Venus and Mars are all right tonight". An " 'Ancient wool ' unraveler"- someone who is unraveling for us the ancient "wooly secrets" of the past And what is "hidden in the yard"?: "Poets spill out on the street To set alight the incomplete remainders of the futureHidden in the yard." I think he's suggesting that he remembers his past lives, so his memory is almost full of lifetimes of memories. I think he also may be telling you that he might be a legendary figure, such as an ancient "god", or someone not truly of Earth; possibly an extra-terrestrial. But he may not be meaning to suggest that. I'm speculating. He may just be being a poet assuming roles.

"Memory almost full" suggests "RAM" random access memory? Just a connection that someone else has probably already made, or maybe not ......

"Memory almost full" suggests "RAM" random access memory? Just a connection that someone else has probably already made, or maybe not ...... I said this in another thread, but it fits here too... Paul RAMon (one of his pseudonyms) Venus and MARs - backward RAM. MARtha my dear - backward RAM Yellow SubMARine - backward RAM Another thought on this is the word ASHRAM, as in gurus and India. If the ash is gone or scattered, all that is left is RAM? (okay that's dumb). -j

something from out of the ether... While trawling for 'music/movie' synchs I came across a website chok-full of supposed 'Beatles' synchs...I was actually looking for more 'Floyd' synchs at the time but couldn't help noticing his 'Beatles' section, which seems to be brimming with synchs. Please note...I've had no time to try any of these....as I own very few 'beatles' albums and not many of the films mentioned. But...if you'd like to have some fun filling in some spare time, maybe this could be a reasonable way to spend it. Credit to Andrew C. Wendland.27. You can erase someone from your mind. Getting them out of your heart is another story.Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind is an Academy Award-winning 2004 American romance film by director Michel Gondry. The film uses a science fiction element to explore the nature of memory and love.We learn that after a nasty fight, Clementine hired a New York firm – Lacuna*, Inc. – to erase all memories of their relationship. Upon discovering this, Joel was devastated and decided to undergo the procedure himself. * en.wiktionary.org/wiki/LacunaThe film is set largely in the New York City suburb of Rockville Centre and Montauk (ooops!!!), Long Island, and in New York City' Music relating to the movie The band Circa Survive (echoes of Cirque Soleil*) have a song called "Meet Me In Montauk" (hhhmmm?)on their album, Juturna (2005). Juturna is the Roman goddess of fountains, wells and springs. She was also the mother of Fontus by her husband, Janus (dual aspect god seen at start of Ever Present Past video). The song is 14 minutes long, though only roughly two minutes of the song have to do about the movie itself; the rest is silence leading to the hidden track. The title "Meet Me In Montauk" comes from the line Clementine whispers in Joel's ear just before the last memory of her is erased.Circa Survive now has many national tours under their belt. They toured in the winter of 2005 with My Chemical Romance. (chemical wedding/marriage see below)en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Circa_SurviveOther songs featured are from artists such as Jeff Lynne's E.L.O. (" Mr. Blue Sky" was featured in trailers and television spots but not used in the film). Notably, many of the vocal songs either revolve around memories or the sun.[/b][/color] en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Montauk_ProjectCirque du Soleil (French for "Circus of the Sun") is an entertainment empire based in Mon-treal (mon as in moon....that's a nice alchemical marriage of the Sun & Moon....very much like the Reverend Sun Myung Moon ), Quebec, Canada and founded in Baie- Saint-Paul in 1984. The etymology of Mon-treal and Mon-tauk should have the 'moon' aspect covered....as in Mon-day being Moon-day....and Mon-th being Moon-th of which there are 13 within a solar yearwww.greatdreams.com/marriage_of_sun_and_moon.htmwww.geocities.com/jtrooper_2000/hermetic__1084.htmMind control allusions, alchemy...and some interesting synchronicities I think. wow.. i hadn't noticed the post on synch's til just now
Recently I've been trying to persuade the other guys at GLR to come together for a collaborative Psychedelic LP that synchs to Disney's Alice in Wonderland (which IMO synchs up with DSOTM a lot better than Oz) which can then be put up on our youtube channel with the movie (and of course it'll stand alone as an album in its own right). One of the guys mentioned trying Ed Wood, too..
Definitely checking that site out should give me some good ideas on how to incorporate ideas, themes and whatnot.
Kudos, HLP!!

damn... I was hoping he might go a bit deeper into perhaps picking out recurring themes and maybe even giving reasons why the synchs work so well... still, that is a hellll of a lot of synching there. in fact, you might say - there's a whole lotta synchin' goin on.

I hadn't seen this thread in a while. I don't have the motivation to try the synchs, though they certainly are fascinating. Jude wrote: "All will be derailed....Paul redeemed us all"Quite intriguing. It fits into the whole idea of Paul as being in the role of Christ while Faul is the devil, but now reformed; the "prodigal son" having come home. That is much of what is behind the lyrics in "Tug of War", imo. tug of war www.youtube.com/watch?v=gH9VtONnTdEPaul and Faul trying to out-do each other, but with our welfare at stake. "It’s a tug of war Though I know I mustn’t grumble It's a tug of war But I can’t let go If I do you’ll take a tumble (us, we Earthlings will take a tumble)And the whole thing is gonna crumble, it’s a tug of war" He's speaking as one in a tug of war with the devil/darkness/failure; he's trying to keep us, as a planetary life-form from becoming extinct. "In a time to come We will be dancing to the beat played on a different drum" The tug of war will be over, and we and he will be dancing to the beat of a happier, more productive tune. Iamaphoney has shown this somewhat in his videos: that Faul was competing with Paul, but that he (Faul) was evil in the beginning (on Pepper). What Faul is saying in this song is that though he and Paul competed with each other, they now are "pulling" for us as the people of this planet. (IMO)

I'm really interested in trying out the White Album/Snow White synch.
I have a copy of the classic, Dark Side/Oz, and whomever made it did it right; laying the audio over the video, but also including subtitles, nice!

Here's some interesting Faul news...please remember Radio put out there album for whatever you want to pay - www.nme.com/news/radiohead/32483Radiohead frontman turned down Paul McCartney duet The ex-Beatle tried to get Thom Yorke to sing with him Sir Paul McCartney has revealed that he asked Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke to record a duet with him - but Yorke turned him down. McCartney explained that Yorke, who famously duetted with PJ Harvey in 2000 on her song 'This Mess We're In', said he now wasn't happy working on music other than that made with his own band and his solo material. Speaking on Channel 4's 'T4' programme, McCartney said: "My daughter was putting an album together and she put us in touch. I asked Thom to do a duet, but he said he couldn't because he only felt happy working on his own and Radiohead's material." Yorke released a solo album, 'The Eraser', in 2006.

Well, it seems to insinuate that he can see thru all of his friends and playmates. After all, we could........I like the "tavern in a box" at the end. At the end of the day, I'd like to just go in my kitchen, crawl into a container and party too. But it was a clever touch. We can make a whole world of our own enjoyment anywhere we are, you see......
