Bb = One brown, (dominant) one blue (recessive) = brown eyes bb = 2 blues (recessive) = blue eyes
Bb + bb = 50/50 chance of child having blue eyes. Hey JoJo, I don't know what to make of my family then. My hubby has blue eyes. His mom had blue, dad had hazel ( which I believe counts as brown ). I "guess" that would make him Bb. He is one of six children. All six either have blue or gray colored eyes. I don't know what category "gray" falls under. I have medium brown eyes. My dad had light blue, my mom has dark brown. Which would make me Bb. We have four children. Three of them have various shades of blue, one has a gorgeous dark hazel ( his eyes have gold & green & brown & maybe even a speck or two of blue in them ). Weird, eh ;D What color eyes did the milkman have? Maybe we hazel-eyed ones come along every third generational skip or so to even out the odds of so many other blue or brown eyed folk in the mix? We keep it interesting for the students of Mendel. Or perhaps they're yawning by now. Oops--here's another one. Say d'ya think Manson was an hazel-eye? Creepers!

Nice try, P(Denny). The only thing wrong with your theory is that my two daughters look like a combination of the two of us. They have certain features of mine, combined with my husbands fair complexion, eye & hair color - he was born a tow head. One of my kids was born blond, the other two had blond hair as babies & toddlers. My oldest son, the one with the hazel eyes, has my nose & face shape. Everything else comes from my husband's side of the family. His mom was "black" Irish. She had black hair & blue eyes, she was a knock out when she was young. My son has her black hair combined with my hubby's dad's hairline/texture & eye colour. My other son is the spitting image of his dad. ;D I think that genetics are fascinating. Hey Doc, you have hazel eyes.... Cool !!!! ;D

Back to Bill/Faul... I was looking to do something & saw this photo in one of my photobuckets: The person on the right is Faul. Then I saw this photo of Dino Danelli: There's something similar about the look in both men's eyes and their facial expressions.

Doc, you know me. I find these photos everywhere on the web. I wouldn't be at all surprised if Faul is at least 1/2 Italian. He uses the word "Mama" alot in his songs.
