Joyce Riley and Dave VonKleist of the radio show "The Power Hour" have reportedly been speaking with "a man behind the scenes" involved with the Beatles, and they are going to have him on as a guest (probably next week: Feb 11 -15). They promise "reverberations that will go around the world", saying that what will be revealed "will blow your mind". The show airs 8 AM - 11 AM Eastern time (US), and can be heard on line here: www.gcnlive.com/listenlive.htm (Click on your choice of players.)on channel three, and possibly on the other channels as well. The Power Hour website: thepowerhour.com/welcome.htmALERT!: It's tentatively scheduled for tomorrow: Friday February 15th, 10 to 11 AM Eastern Time.Warning: This is a tentative scheduling. There are some 'last minute details' that have to be worked out.

Maybe it's Total Information? I'll be recording on old technology: cassettes. If someone can burn it to CD or save it to a file, we could get it posted here. I am not sufficiently computer saavy to do it. Any help from competent people in this regard would be greatly appreciated. (Meaning someone other than myself should do it.) By the way, the show is repeated at 10 PM Eastern time on the satellite link listed on the Power Hour page, so if you miss it the first time..... I will be posting right after the show regarding what was covered.

Cool! I am excited for this. I am a bit of a technotard, though, so I am afraid I can't help you out there. I'm still excited to hear it! I wonder who the mystery guest is!!

Postponed Indefinitely. The Beatles guy will not be on "The Power Hour" today because they feared a possible lawsuit from Miss Yoko, apparently. Booooo!

I called in just to make sure that they knew we were out there. Well, not "out there", but, you know...eagerly anticipating the rescheduling of the show. Of course I mentioned the "Paul is dead" mystery, but Dave said that's not the direction the intended show is going to go. I told the listeners to fine tune their hearing when they hear Beatles music. So was it worthwhile? I kind of hope so. Oh! And my big ego aside, Dave did mention this: Beatles-Child of Nature www.youtube.com/watch?v=KMJb_sqsJgswhich evolved into Lennon's "Jealous Guy". On the road to Rishikesh I was dreaming more or less, And the dream I had was true Yes, the dream I had was true I'm just a child of nature I don't need much to set me free I'm just child of nature I'm one of nature's children Sunlight shining in your eyes As I face the desert skies And my thoughts return to home Yes, my thoughts return to home I'm just a child of nature I don't need much to set me free I'm just a child of nature I'm one nature's children Underneath the mountain ranges Where the wind that never changes Touch the windows of my soul Touch the windows of my soul I'm just a child of nature I don't need much to set me free I'm just a child of nature I'm one of nature's children

I've never heard "Child of Nature," thanks for the link. P.S. I am so disappointed! I was looking forward to this. Although I wayyyyy overslept anyway.

I like both quite a bit, really. I think that I have just heard "Jealous Guy" so much that it's almost weird to hear this version, but I definitely like it lots!

Jude, I just listened to it & commented underneath it. I have to say that I like both versions of the song. They were comparing it to Mother Nature's Son.
Mother Nature's Son
Born a poor young country boy--Mother Nature's son All day long I'm sitting singing songs for everyone.
Sit beside a mountain stream--see her waters rise Listen to the pretty sound of music as she flies.
Find me in my field of grass--Mother Nature's son Swaying daises sing a lazy song beneath the sun.
Mother Nature's son.
Child of Nature
On the road to Rishikesh I was dreaming more or less, And the dream I had was true Yes, the dream I had was true
I'm just a child of nature I don't need much to set me free I'm just child of nature I'm one of nature's children
Sunlight shining in your eyes As I face the desert skies And my thoughts return to home Yes, my thoughts return to home
I'm just a child of nature I don't need much to set me free I'm just a child of nature I'm one nature's children
Underneath the mountain ranges Where the wind that never changes Touch the windows of my soul Touch the windows of my soul
I'm just a child of nature I don't need much to set me free I'm just a child of nature I'm one of nature's children
I can' t see how anyone can compare those two songs. The lyrics for Mother Nature's Son are very simple, almost childish. Child of Nature is mature & fully developed.

I think this mystery project must have to do with all the music written by Donovan, Mike Love, and others for the BEATLES white album... in Rishikesh, etc...

Way before the Anthology album was released with Child of Nature, my cousin sent me a cassette with alot of those outtakes, he got from a bootleg album.
It does sound like the project would deal with their trip to India, probably about the music and not some mysterious mystical spiritual encounter with the spirit of JPM. You know that would float like an iron butterfly...ina gadda da vida baby....
