I've said here many times that some people, regardless of believing PID or PIA, will not be able to "see" the differences between pre-and-post '66 photos of Paul. I've used the Gabor sisters as an example....many people have trouble telling them apart. THIS one takes the cake. ;D Dopey-stupid ebay seller is auctioning a fake Eva Gabor signed photo. Not only is the signature bogus, it's "signed" on a photo of Zsa Zsa!!

I guess if I saw enough pictures of them and I got to know their faces well I could tell the difference. At this point I couldn't, but like Paul and Faul eventually the differences would become more and more obvious I suppose.
BTW, the difference in Doris Day before and after 1956 is more obvious than Paul and Faul imo.

You ought to notify ebay. I've been cheated there myself..... the problem with that is; no one can (legally) dispute the authenticity of a signature other than the person themselves. Eva Gabor, being deceased, is a wonderful target for forgeries. In addition, eBay does not seem overly concerned with the sale of forgeries. A friend of mine is a VERO member, who has seen forgeries of their own signature offered on eBay. Repeatedly by one particular seller, and in many other individual offerings. eBay has done nothing regarding the listings or the specific seller who consistently offers forgeries. I have seen TONS of forged Johnny Cash signatures on eBay since his passing last year. One seller made several thousand dollars by selling hundreds of individually signed "45" Cash records that were forgeries. There have been some legitimate signatures sold as well, but many more forgeries. It cannot be stressed enough, if you are not extremely familiar with the celebrity's handwriting and choice of wording (those above-mentioned "45"'s were inscribed with a phrase that Johnny Cash never signed on autographs), chances of getting a fake off of eBay are extremely high.

...chances of getting a fake off of eBay are extremely high. here are two Ben Stein forgeries currently listed at ebay: ...and how do I know they're fakes? 'cuz here's my signed copy of one of his books... names have been cloned out to protect the innocent ;D

Yes, it's gorgeous... truly unique. That's a gorgeous rock. Beware of Bugs Bunny seeking "carats"...... Your hand and nails look well maintained, too. A nail photo op; a fresh manicure. xpt626-----evidentally, your mama raised you right! Makes a house slob like me ashamed to make a post in dirty socks!!! 'Scuze me, I've got to go freshen up. Folks, there IS a lady on board here (probably many others as well)---I must go and clean up my act right now. Well, I'll at least put on a clean pair of socks. That's a little too much information, isn't it?

...Your hand and nails look well maintained, too. A nail photo op; a fresh manicure. xpt626----- LOL that's a very rare "good nail" photo (except for the several years I had acrylics ;D). I don't bite them, but I pull them off...and they don't grow "nicely" even if I let them Hey Doc, it's cold enough down south for socks today?

Cold? Socks? Forget it! I need a wooly foot-coat for my nimbly freezing toesies. Wahhhh............
A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving was on tonight, made me howl at Snoopy cooking Dinner..........so much toast!!!
And, now, to the topic!
ZsaZsa and Eva were stunningly gorgeous dames esp back then so young--and I do not know there faces well enough to tell them apart. That is an easy one to pull off!! But, thanks for the general remarks about the e-bay--I suspected so much was true. They're an auction house--and software and collectables are a little harder to verify than plain signatures! If something deosn't work or is clear fraud, easy to protest and take action. With autographs, what can you do if you don't know the handwriting! You're right, thanks for plassing that along.
