Didn't realize ACV had ever mentioned Keith Allison, in this case as part of a communication with Red Lion. Hello Apollo maybe one of the mods can move all this over to the KA thread?

It was said in this thread that November 9, 1966 fell on a Wednesday, but the book Beatles Forever says it was a Tuesday.

All of the Beatles went into semi-retirement after making the Revolver album. The people who made Sgt. Pepper's and all subsequent albums were their replacements. The real JPM did not die. So if there is a date of death for anyone, it may be for Faul, who died and came back to life. And on Iamaphoney's video (#74?), he says the date of death was October 3.

Hey everyone, I've been reading this board for awhile and finally decided to post here... If this is JPM, then it appears he was alive when he and Ringo attended the 1966 Melody Maker awards. The date on the award is September 13th, 1966. That's quite a find, rbbr soul. You've spurred further research on my part. That's JPM all right. If there was any doubt about it, here's a brief YouTube video of that award ceremony. www.youtube.com/watch?v=zApBPR1QHK4That's JPM attending that ceremony beyond all doubt. Here's a Beatles Timeline that sets the date of that award as September 19. home.att.net/~chuckayoub/1966_year.htmThat timeline isn't necessarily golden, but we can scratch out mid-September or any earlier date. So much for the date on the Eleanor Rigby tombstone. That video of the 1966 Melody Taker Awards is down. I can't seem to find another one. Anyone know of one? Thanks! And here's another photo of Ringo with that glob of excess plastic by his ear. It looks like he has a new ear growing in next to his old ear. Maybe the Beatles' ears molt, like bird feathers or snake skin

About the Melody Maker award, an early member noted in this thread: Reply #13
I've had a friend check out the music papers archive in Manchester Library for me.
The date on the Sept 13 picture is the date that Melody Maker was published, not the date of the awards ceremony. The magazine simply alluded to "last weekend's awards", meaning it could have been on Fri 9th, Sat 10th, Sunday 11th.
Hope that clears that one up. Already metnioned in an earlier post on this thread but just a reminder.
