Yes, that's how the song title is listed, although it of course is the old Capitol rainbow label, not the purple one here.

Well....Hot Damn!! I got one, went into a used record store in Boston, there was a mono Pepper in the Beatles collection, ($24.95) bought it, just looked under the black light, and there it is, in its glowing green glory! Wow! Now..I can't seem to figure this out, but my label says "With a Little Help from My Friends", is the "With" being there the way it's supposed to be or not? I guess some early pressings messed it up, but my non black light Peppers omit the "With". Hi Jojo, My copy has "A little Help..." on the label, like yours. IS the cover any different? (eg, Fauls eyes) Once you start using the mag glass and mirrors, there is no turning back. You are hearby forewarned. Prepare to be transported to another world. You are one of us now. Seriously, let me know if you see anything, ok?

Well, I hope not, because I know how to focus a camera, and take passable snapshots, but I get the impression you know what you are doing in that regard. I'll say mine is pretty much like yours, with what looks like rays emanating from the center, (the sun?) and the "moonscape" on the outer part. I'm of the opinion, although I'd have no proof for sure unless I sliced it in half, (ain't gonna happen, lol) that whatever makes it glow is embedded in the vinyl, not something sprayed on at all. The edge is green, and under a bright light I can see that the surface has taken quite a beating from its enthusiastic owners over the last 40 years. Dead wax info: Triangle with "IAM" in the center, and serial #: MAS-2-2653-F1 Dead wax on non glowing mono: MAS-1-2653-F1 #3 (IAM triangle again) Not having a #(some number) at the end is unusual. Also, "MAS-2" instead of "MAS-1". It was the hardest to read of the three, I needed a very bright pinpoint light to make it out. The album seems a little heftier, definitely a little thicker than the other mono.

JoJo, have you had a chance to spin it on the turntable under the blacklight?

Someone should run a Geiger counter over one.

I'll have to agree with Mysteryboy that doing so doesn't do much, it's just the moonscape whizzing by in a blur. I don't have an expensive turntable that I am concerned about spinning by hand, and so I tried all kinds of variations. No luck.

It's very interesting that you see a moonscape. Do you see anything else? Definitely a NASA connection here it seems.

There's "Apollo C. Vermouth" and the NASA Apollo moon orbits and landings fakes that were going on in the Faul Beatles period of 1967-1970. A strong NASA-Ordo Templis Orientalis overlap also; as there is with the Pentagon. See the picture of fascist Spaniard Salvador Dali and Fia Pharrow with a huge poster of the moon in space in back of them, the "moonchild" is a central notion of the OTO. There's the fact too, of course, that where there's NASA there's Nazis, Nazi SS war/Holocaust criminal engineers such as Werner Von Braun were leading much of the US military missiles development and space program, including the fakes, and the Beatles already appear in other ways to be at the intersection of fakes and Nazis.

my non black light Peppers omit the "With". My copy has "A little Help..." on the label, like yours.
This seems to be contradictory b/w JoJo & mysteryboy. From what I can tell, the very early pressings omitted "With."

I don't have an expensive turntable that I am concerned about spinning by hand, and so I tried all kinds of variations. No luck. I remember when I first saw it I was thinking "moon" as well. I think that it is a moonscape as well as a waterscape as well as a 'blue jay way-scape', if you will. JoJo, does yours look for the most part like the early photos I posted ? Or is it a different patten?

If you read the thread regarding the mono "Magical Mystery Tour" LP,I just realized your original post mentioned the MMT LP, not Pepper. The mono US MMT is raather rare... No worries.. the mono MMT is just ok. The one interesting bit about it is that BJW does not have the reversed singing on it. It was probably added on the stereo mix.

Well, don't worry, something will manifest itself in time, and perhaps soon, just a feeling.

Well, here's my effort, but yes, it is a challenge to get it to come out looking halfway decent. More to show what mine looks like, I'm gonna try playing around with it some more. One thing, it seems impossible to get rid of the reflection of the tube. A couple of side ones, and side two:

Jojo, your LP pics make me think of iris scans. Hmm, a possibility, I see what you're saying. But another thing occured to me: And everything under the sun is in tune But the sun is eclipsed by the moon.

Total Eclipse. To me, it's where the direct shine of an light source is obscured from a viewer's perspective by the interloping pass of an opaque body whose apparent size is effectively equal or greater to the light source.
Hmmm. When we look up at an eclipse (though we do so at great risk) we are in fact seeing the combined image of two bodies. We see one image resulting from an overlap of two entities that takes place in three dimensions.
Even in a total eclipse of the sun we still see an effect of the covered light source, the corona, or surrounding light discharge, which is in fact MORE apparent during an extreme eclipse than any other time (to the naked eye).
Is "Paul McCartney" an image created from the merger of two entities in combined perspective?

I think "MAS-2" indicates Side 2 and "MAS-1" indicates side 1. Did you inspect both sides? Dead wax info: Triangle with "IAM" in the center, and serial #: MAS-2-2653-F1 Dead wax on non glowing mono: MAS-1-2653-F1 #3 (IAM triangle again) Not having a #(some number) at the end is unusual. Your copy has more of the outward radiating effect than mine does. The overall pattern is different too. This makes it all the more perplexing and exciting. If you can somehow steady the camera , that would be helpful. If you don't have a tripod, put the camera on a surface and use the self-timer. Thanks for posting the pics! Veddy interestink!

Yes, they are different in the details, no question. I think perhaps the "big picture", the thing you are supposed to see at a glance, is an eclipse. It would seem that all copies may have that intent, but they also seem to have placed little details, and more faces yet. The question is; is the pattern random, just a function of the manufacturing process, or are the details on each individual copy deliberate?
I'll try out your advice MB, and I have a small tube BL, perhaps adding that will help as well.

So, the label is the moon, the lines radiating it from it are the corona... but you see a moonscape on the edges?
