Wow I never knew Harrison met with Ford... I believe it's at this point the audience realizes the Beatles weren't anti-establishment at all, and were just being marketed to the anti-establishment dollar. Here's a film of their meeting www.youtube.com/watch?v=

You are the one trying to decree how people can and cannot refer to "Sir Paul McCartney". You are trying to decree a number of things. Bullshit to this and everything else you said. For starts, I never decreed that anyone should do anything and I think if you really paid attention, you'd know that. Second, I was refering to the opinion that is commonly held among conspiracy theorists that the US goverment was behind John Lennon's murder, doorman Jose Perdomo shot Lennon, and Chapman was just a brainwashed patsy. Third, you have, in my opinion, shown that you are a sickening piece of human rubbish shallow, and because of THIS I will have nothing more to do with you. As far as I am concerned at this moment, right here is where our paths part and the childish bickering ends.

There wouldn't be any make up sex, because I'm not making up with the kind of asshole who writes caustic comments on a Youtube video that is dedicated in memorium to Linda McCartney. I don't respect those who disrespect the deceased, particularly those that I cared for deeply.
I think 65if2007 can take that briefcase and shove it up his ass. There is no fire in hell hot enough for the likes of people like him. Sorry moderators, I said that! But the arguments over, and there's nothing to see here. Move along, everyone.

dedicated in memorium to Linda McCartney. I don't respect those who disrespect the deceased, particularly those that I cared for deeply. "... And I'm not asking anyone to suffer here. If, for instance, Americans reduced their intake of meat by just 10%--if just one in every 10 meals was meatless-- that would free up enough land, water and energy from growing livestock feed to adequately feed 40 million starving people. And that's official, from the Worldwatch Institute. The point is that this problem is not going to go away; the problem is going to get worse as the population explodes in the next century like never before. More people are going to have less to eat, and we have to find new ways of feeding them. It appears to me that as you can grow 40,000 lbs. of potatoes or 10,000 lbs. of beans on an acre of prime land that would produce just 250 lbs of beef, one of these new ways has to be a major shift away from meat-eating. Of course, to argue for this change is to invite the catcalls again because by asking people to change their eating habits we are asking them to change tradition and people like to cling to tradition..." Excerpt from 'The Path of the Vegetarian' by Linda McCartney. Full transcript, click here------------------------ This is veering way off topic, but we're just waiting around for the next RA here. I don't think the rally cry was for a 'veggie dictatorship', rather I think her main point was to focus on just what it takes to put burgers and tacos on people's plates; it doesn't take river/lake or seafood into account. Is there a better way to do things? That's always a good question to ask. Maybe 65if2007 was bit by a rabid hippie when he was a kid?

That sure is a "judgmental" comment. What happened to "tolerance"? You must be one of those "evil right wingers" that I've heard so much about. Judge? What is there to judge? I found what you wrote to be sickening, and so have many others who have watched the video. I don't see you trying to explain yourself, or atone for your actions, so apparently you meant every word you said. My political views are far more "right wing" than you might expect. If fondly remembering Linda McCartney and admiring those who stand for her cause makes me an evil person then I must be the anti-Christ. And you? Since you seem so keen on labeling me an intolerant judge, just how shall I "judge" you? You're a feeble, angry old man with a chip on his shoulder. No doubt you have family and no doubt you project some semblance of friendliness and warmth. And yet inside you there is a rotten soul embittered by all that you perceive as wrong with the world. But you see, I am a man who believes in absolutes. There is good, and there is evil, and YOU sir, are playing for the losing team. When natural disasters begin to rip this Earth apart you'll just be standing there with egg on your face wishing that perhaps you hadn't been so critical of those who actually gave a damn about the condition of the planet they live on. Judgmental? Oh yes, very. I am a sick, twisted old anti-Christ who plays elaborate April Fools pranks on people and likes to dream about peace, love, and everything else you despise. I am the long-haired "peacenik" devil. And you're the the devil who wrote this: I guess that a vegetarian lifestyle didn't lead to a long healthy lifespan for her. I guess also that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but I think that she looked like **** without makeup.
I guess also that she didn't have quite as much of an impact as she would have wished or I would have been risking jail time for the four chicken tacos that I ate for dinner tonight. They cost me $5.50 at Chipotle. I wonder how much the black market price would have been under a veggie dictatorship. I keep watching the video, seeing these pictures of this woman I found always so.....warm....and loving....and I'm thinking to myself: What kind of sick fuck are you?But then I remind myself that I have better things to do then waste time listening to you as you endlessly recycle the same shit you had written about me before: "Blah blah, Queen of Cosmania, blah blah, judgmental, blah, blah blah." Fare thee ill, 65if2007. Adieu and good riddance.

What the heck is /b/, and why does Mike think Socash is so enamored of he/she/it?
This flame war has gotten so beyond the beyond.. I don't even know if 65IF really feels all that strongly about Linda, or he's just trying to push Jude's buttons by grabbing something nearby and handy.
Hey, I only remembered Linda from the 70's image I had, until I got into this crazy topic. Ya know the jokes, she played a great air piano and all that.. But in retrospect, and listening many years later, her vocals in the background of many a Wings song worked somehow, as did the team effort in general. I'll also say that after watching the Flaming Pie era DVD (forget the name) my thought was that she was someone who looked better as the years went by, it works that way sometimes.

I found what you wrote to be sickening, and so have many others who have watched the video. I don't see you trying to explain yourself, or atone for your actions, so apparently you meant every word you said. <shrugs> Did Sir Paul McCartney every try to "explain himself" or atone for his actions in firing his employees for eating meat? He must have "meant" it, and firing someone is a little more harsh than mere words. And don't forget what Iamaphoney has accused him of. You remember Iamaphoney, don't you? If you say so. I don't think that you can. I'm a middle aged man with a chip on his shoulder. Diet and a half hour on the treadmill every day actually has put me in pretty good shape -- and I've gotten my blood sugar, my cholesterol, and my blood pressure all down to normal levels. That's a long way off from "feeble". But if it'll make you feel any better, I have been spending the last week resting up from double hernia surgery, which was somewhat painful the first day or two after the fact. So I've been somewhat incapacitated, but I expect to go back to work next week. Being in decent physical shape probably hastened my recovery. So am I. Probably so. In the real world, very few people adhere to the same standard of behavior for themselves that they would impose upon others. I like to think that I do a better job of that than most people, but there's no question of where the numbers are. Dr. Ian Paisley, the fiery Irish cleric and politician was reputed to have been preaching one Sunday on the End Times - and in particular on the Day of Judgment. As he reached the climax of his address he said that on the Day of Judgment "there would be wailing and gnashing of teeth". At which point an old woman put up her hand and said "Dr. Paisley, I have no teeth." Paisley replied "Madam, teeth will be provided." Now I think that you're engaging in something slightly different from a standard fire and brimstone sermon. I think that you're talking about "global warming". Or "climate change". Or whatever it's called nowadays. Right, right. Do you know that there are actually people in the world who expect to be judged some day by Jesus Christ? Or by some other version of the Messiah? Are THEY ever going to be surprised to find out on Judgment Day that Al Gore and "Paul McCartney" are the TRUE rulers of the universe! You've hinged your entire value system on that of a man (the dude with the Mediterranean accent suggests that he's not a "man" at all but a monster) that you think has probably been living a lie for 42 years. You mean like Charles Manson? Well, it was a soft sell. How much DO you think the black market price would have been? "To the living we owe respect. To the dead, only the truth." - Voltaire You know, if her husband really is the anti-Christ, as Iamaphoney seems to think, then she must have somehow enabled his evil activities. You're not really suggesting that she could have been unaware that he's the anti-Christ, are you? That's the sort of thing that married people usually confide in each other about. Right, right. But then it was "Paul McCartney" who -- again -- once deprived meat-eaters of their livelihood and who once stated that a man who puts a worm on a hook and drops that hook into water with the intention of catching a fish was thereby a "murderer". On the other hand, it was John Donne who once said that any man's death diminishes him because he was involved in mankind. But I have a feeling that Dunne enjoyed a side of beef with the same gusto as any normal Englishman. Vegetarianism on an individual basis -- for dietary or philosophical reasons -- certainly isn't objectionable. Vegetarianism as a POLITICAL movement and as a political movement based on COERCION (and clearly there's no limit to the amount of coercion the McCartneys would have been willing to use to enforce it, if they only had that much power) -- is dehumanizing. If there isn't such thing as a food chain, if God didn't actually give man dominion over the rest of the animal kingdom; if mankind isn't any higher than any other animal -- then why should the death of any individual man or woman diminish us, as Donne suggested? Why should it cause us any more concern than the fate of any fish caught at Miramar today? It's the militant vegetarianist philosophy that hold human life to be trivial; it MANDATES such a conclusion. And it thereby mandates relative indifference towards the death of someone who practiced it. He or she who lives by the sword dies by it.

[glow=red,2,300]TOP COIN[/glow] That's what all this PID stuff has become. Drama, Jokes, and Bullshit. You have redefined PID to mean "Piling It Deeper." For forty years I've wanted to see this myth go down the tubes, one way or the other. Now, with a little help from my friends, especially Sir Isaac Newton... I know how to blow it all to hell. And you can't blame me, you've handed me the warm metaphorical GUN, and through analogy here you've taught me how to SHOOT. Now that I AIM to shoot the thing that tickles your precious... you can't blame me, since you have offered so much inspiration. This will be my last post on this forum. I could have gone either way... I could have lived happily with the myth existing as it is, but you have proved to me, extensively, that nothing good can come from believing or endorsing "Paul is Dead." So don't think harshly of me while the whole group is running about like a bunch of headless chickens, trying to stick their nothings in the ground like scared ostraches... just lean back in your chair and soak it all in... soak it in... every drop. It will have an end soon, and one hell of an Ending it will be. With IAAP's help, and the help of this forum, and your uncle Bob's help, PID will be something very different one year from now. Not what you want it to be, rather what you need it to be. Then everyone can thank those like the Secret Society IAAP, Jude, MikeyNL, and your uncle Bob... for turning PID from MYTH to JOKE. If you would to remove this post, that's fine. It would help me, if you do remove it, as I too often say what I'm thinking - and in this case, sounding my only warning for what that will come. And don't complain if I seem like an arse for what I plan to do... as I've implied, YOU (all of you) have helped me to this point. You could have had it another way; remember that throughout the course of your future and petty arguments. We'll give you what you want. We'll cause them to founder: those Gluttons of Babel. eMDO, Over and Out. I don't understand, Miles. Most of the world probably ALREADY thinks that PID is a joke, to the extent that they are even aware of it. Nevertheless, Paul McCartney is either dead or he isn't. The man who is known to the world as "Paul McCartney" is either the same guy who met John Lennon in 1958 and helped organize the Quarrymen or he isn't. I've always been open to either possibility -- but either way, it's an objective fact which has nothing to do with your feelings on the matter and nothing to do with how you feel you've been treated by others. I guess there are others such as "YouKnowMyName2231" who insist, as a philosophical matter, that things aren't as simple as I've just stated and that like Shrodinger's cat, Paul McCartney must necessarily be both alive AND dead until the issue is finally resolved -- but that's too deep for me. Regardless of how the world operated in the universe created by Shrodinger's imagination, on our own three-dimensional plane, Paul must either be alive OR dead (and NOT both), regardless of our state of definite knowledge on the issue. So if you know something, why don't you say what it is? The truth might shock some; it might delight others; but it will only set me free.

What the heck is /b/, and why does Mike think Socash is so enamored of he/she/it? /b/ is... a place you should never go. Basically the septic tank of the entire internet. Wherein you'll find the most graphic images anywhere online, and some of the most idiotic forum posters in the world (I call them /b/tards). If you absolutely must go to /b/ and see exploding brains and severed penises, it's a sub-board on the 4chan website. It is also home to "Anonymous," this is what the posters on the board call themselves usually. They have been known to really terrorize some people and stuff. Right now they are currently attacking the church of Scientology via the net and in real life protests, but many of their things are usually not so noble. For instance, I remember reading about them hacking a forum for epileptics and putting seizure inducing gifs all over the site.

I would like to state, for the record, that I do not believe that Paul McCartney is the anti-Christ. There have been a lot of "hints" and "clues" concerning this, but I'm still not fully convinced that he is bent on fulfilling Biblical prophecy. That being said, I am quite open to the idea. The Paul I know is a pretty nice guy, but that doesn't mean he can't have a dark side about him that I don't see. And I find all this talk about L.I.L.Y and Lilith, the McCartney Eye and the Eye of Horus, etc. to be fascinating....but it only convinces me that Paul is secretly an occultist, not that he is pure evil driven on ruling the world someday. And I need to get all this out into the open air, because APPARENTLY some people think that my sympathies 100% lie with IAAP----sorry to burst a few bubbles, but that's just not true. I don't think Paul is the anti-Christ, but I'm ready and willing to be proven wrong. Milesdeo: I'm sorry that you feel I am turning PID into a joke. Are IAAP, Mike, and I really being played (or is IAAP is playing us?) for fools? We'll see. Regardless of what happens within the next 1-2 years (and I have a feeling that something huge will happen, even sooner than that) it's been a fun ride, and I won't regret any of it.
