The Babalon Working, Rosemary's Baby & Other Tales
A Graphically Symbolic Enacment of the Homunculus/Moonchild Ritual On Celluloid.
ROSEMARY'S BABY
The bloody slaughter on August 9, 1969 of actress Sharon Tate and four others shocked the world that year. The details of the murders are well known, including stabbing Tate's unborn child and smearing the victims' blood on the wall to write 'Helter Skelter' , words which were the title of a Beatles song written one year after the Beatles had sparked a revival of interest in the deceased OTO leader Aleister Crowley by placing his photo on the cover of their album, 'Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band'.
Tate was the wife of film director Roman Polanski who had directed 'Rosemary's Baby', a movie about a demonic 'moonchild'. In a secret instruction of the OTO's Ninth Degree, details are given regarding the the creation of a moonchild or homunculus via demonic possession of the fetus following ritualised copulation.
Southern Califonia OTO leader Jack Parsons, whose lodge was deeply tied to Hollywood, had gone to great lengths to create a moonchild in the 1940's 'The Babalon Working'....with L Ron Hubbard (Frater H) as his scryer... numerous abortions were involved in the process. Indeed, 'Rosemary's Baby' could be legitamately viewed as a graphically symbolic enactment of a homunculus ritual on celluloid.
In Sex and Rockets, Carter brings a measure of much needed clarity to the life and times of the enigmatic Parsons; an enigma that has been compounded over the years by varying degrees of misinformation and exaggeration as to just who Parsons was, and exactly what he was trying to accomplish with the Babalon Working rituals, performed in part with L. Ron Hubbard, the future founder of Scientology. The end result of the Babalon Working was to birth an elemental being; a 'Moonchild' that--as Crowley stated in his Book of the Law--would be "mightier than all the kings of the Earth."
Carter quotes Crowley successor Kenneth Grant, who wrote, "The Babalon Working began...just prior to the wave of unexplained aerial phenomena now recalled as the 'Great Flying Saucer Flap'. Parsons opened a door and something flew in." Carter also suggests it mighthave been the atomic bomb that opened this door between dimensions. He then further illustrates the importance of the year 1947, which ended the first stage of the Babalon Working, as Parsons and Hubbard parted ways amid a cloud of turmoil. 1947 was the year that the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered. In that very same year, Israel became a nation state, the transistor was invented and the sound barrier broken. Last, but certainly not least, the Modern Age of UFO's flew into view with the Kenneth Arnold sightings, followed not long after by the alleged saucer crash in Roswell, New Mexico. 1947 was also the year the Great Beast, Aleister Crowley died.

Grant continues Re: The IX degree.
"Having lost confidence in women, Parsons decided to attract an Elemental Spirit to take Betty's place..." (Hubbard had stolen her from Parsons) These spirits are called Elementals because of their association with the four elements of the ancients. To summon one requires a large amount of magical energy, the kind generated by an 8th Degree working. The practice of the 8th Degree is a solo sexual rite.

The parallel between Hubbard and Kelly.
In the course of a letter in January 1950, Parsons drew attention to an interesting similarity. In the course of the Babalon Working, the rituals included the Enochian Call of the Seventh Aire. This was in line with a passage in "LIBER 49", where Parsons was urged to "...seek me in the Seventh Aire". Parsons continued:
"I have the text of Dee's skrying in the Seventh Aire, which as he
said "...so terrified me that, beseeching God to have mercy upon me, I finally answer that I will from this day forward meddle no more herein". The voice, speaking from Kelly, resulted in a sinister
dissociation of Kelly's personality. The parallel with my own Working with Ron, is appalling. After this Kelly robbed Dee, absconded with his wife, and developed a criminal confidence career. (It was Hubbard who absconded with Parsons' girl Betty...and boy did his criminal confidence career take-off.)

Ritual Abortions.
L. Ron Hubbard, Jr., is a survivor. His appearance on earth, May 7, 1934, was the result of failed abortion rituals by his father, and Ron, after only six and a half months in the womb and at 2.2 pounds entered the world. His mother, Margeret ("Polly") Grubb, was to have one more child, Catherine May, before her husband ditched her in 1946 to enter into a bigamous marnage with Sarah Northrup. A half sister, Alexis Valerie, survived that union. Soon after that, the founder of Scientology married Mary Sue Whipp, the current Mrs. L. Ron Hubbard, Sr., who at this writing is serving four years in federal prison for stealing government documents. There were four childrens: Diana and Quentin, who died under mysterious circumstances in 1976; Arthur, who has been missing for several years; and Suzette.
Ron Jr. says that he remembers much of his childhood. He claims to recall, at six years, a vivid scene of his father performing an abortion ritual on his mother with a coat hanger. He remembers that when he was ten years old, his father, in an attempt to get his son in tune with his black-magic worship, laced the young hubbard's bubble gum with phenobarbital. Drugs were an important part of Ron Jr.'s growing up, as his father believed that they were the best way to get closer to Satan --the Antichrist of black magic.
Ron Jr. also recalls a hard-drinking, drug-abusing father who would mistreat his mother and other women, but who, when, under the influence, would delight in telling his son all of his exploits. Finally, Ron Jr. remembers his father as a "broke science-fiction writer" who espoused that the road to riches and glory lay in selling religion to the masses.
Penthouse: Did he write the book(DIANETICS) off the top of his head? Did he do any real research?
Hubbard: No research at all. When he has answered that question over the years, his answer has changed according to which biography he was writing. Sometimes he used to write a new biography every week. He usually said that he had put thirty years of research into the book. But no, he did not. What he did, reaily, was take bits and pieces from other people and put them together in a blender and stir them all up --and out came Dianetics! All the examples in the book --some 200 "real-life experiences" --were just the result of his obsessions with abortions and unconscious states... In fact, the vast majority of those incidents were invented off the top of his head. The rest stem from his own secret life, which was deeply involved in the occult and black-magic. That involvement goes back to when he was sixteen, living in Washington. D.C. He got hold of the book by Alistair Crowley called The Book of Law. He was very interested in several things that were the creation of what some people call the Moon Child. It was basically an attempt to create an immaculate conception --except by Satan rather than by God. Another important idea was the creation of what they call embryo implants --of getting a satanic or demonic spirit to inhabit the body of a fetus. This would come about as a result of black-magic rituals, which included the use of hypnosis, drugs, and other dangerous and destructive practices. One of the important things was to destroy the evidence if you failed at this immaculate conception. That's how my father became obsessed with abortions. I have a memory of this that goes back to when I was six years old. It is certainly a problem for my father and for Scientology that I rememoer this. It was around 1939, 1940, that I watched my father doing something to my mother. She was lying on the bed and he was sitting on her, facing her feet. He had a coat hanger in his hand. There was blood all over the place. I remember my father shouting at me. "Go back to bed!" A little while later a doctor came and took her off to the hospital. She didn't talk about it for quite a number of years. Neither did my father.
Penthouse: He was trying to perform an abortion?
Hubbard: According to him and my mother, he tried to do it with me. I was born at six and a half months and weighed two pounds, two ounces. I mean, I wasn't born: this is what came out as a result of their attempt to abort me. It happened during a night of partying --he got involved in trying to do a black-magic number. Also, I've got to complete this by saying that he thought of himself as the Beast 666 incarnate.
Penthouse: The devil?
Hubbard: Yes. The Antichrist. Alestair Crowley thought of himself as such. And when Crowley died in 1947, my father then decided that he should wear the cloak of the beast and become the most powerful being in the universe.
Penthouse: You were sixteen years old at that time. What did you believe in?
Hubbard: I believed in Satanism. There was no other religion in the house! Scientology and black magic. What a lot of people don't realize is that Scientology is black magic that is just spread out over a long time period. To perform black magic generally takes a few hours or, at most, a few weeks. But in Scientology it's stretched out over a lifetime, and so you don't see it. Black magic is the inner core of Scientology --and it is probably the only part of Scientology that really works. Also, you've got to realize that my father did not worship Satan. He thought he was Satan. He was one with Satan. He had a direct pipeline of communication and power with him. My father wouldn't have worshiped anything. I mean, when you think you're the most powerful being in the universe, you have no respect for anything, let alone worship.

Many books have been written about the 'Manson murders', blaming Manson's views on white racism and too many drug trips. His involvement with the Solar Lodge, however, is less well known. The successor to Parsons' Agape Lodge in Pasadena was located in southern California and numbered among its adherents a young man named Charles Manson. OTO leader Grady McMurty contacted the FBI following Manson's arrest, explaining for the record that the lodge in which Manson had been initiated was not recognized by the OTO. .....hhhhmmmmm? (nb..this is very much a contentious issue)
www.feastofhateandfear.com/archives/edsanders2.html
John Whiteside Parsons (who some claim could be descended form Irish aristocracy the Earl of Rosse Richard Parsons, founder of the Irish Hellfire Club) was the OTO leader of the Agape Lodge in California. He was the inventor of jet-assisted takeoff (JATO), the founder of Aerojet Corp. and the co-founder of the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL).
Author of instrumental research behind both the US space program and Allied military victories during WWII, Parsons considered himself the 'AntiChrist Belarion'. He engaged in the homsexual rape of a 16 yr old boy in 1942. The Pasadena police dismissed the charges and reported that the OTO was essentially "an organisation dedicated to religious and philosophical speculation, with respectable members such as a Pasadena bank president, doctors, lawyers and Hollywood actors."
In "Alchemical Conspiracy and the Death of the West" Michael Hoffman writes of Parsons. Hoffman tells us that the Ordo Templi Orientis (OTO) had a temple on nearby Mount Palomar. The local Indians regarded the mountain as holy. Hoffman says, "The OTO believed that Palomar was the sexual chakra of the Earth." Parsons commuted regularly between Palomar and Pasadena. The Mount Palomar Observatory opened in 1949. Smith probably consecrated his temple on Palomar soon after his move to California in 1930, before the Observatory was planned.
OTO sex and death rituals are performed performed across the United States, including - according to the late James Shelby Downard - Secret Service and FBI personnel at the Mount Palomar Observatory, who performed sex rites with Downard's estranged wife, Anne...while immersed in light from the star Sirius in the constellation Canis Major, beamed through the 200-inch Palomar telescope.
Hoffman has also noted that some of the old OTO ritual sites in California...cropped up in the Hillside Strangler case as disposal sites for some of the bodies.
Palomar lies just minutes north of the 33rd parallel. This is significant because 33 is an important number in Masonic symbolism. It is the number of the highest grade of the Scottish Rite. It is also the number of years Christ walked on the earth. Hoffman mentions the 33 bones of the human spinal cord. This brings to mind kundalini yoga. Crowley's OTO was a quasi-masonic order. The higher grades show esoteric Hindu influences of a sexual nature. (I personally don't subscribe to the idea that the influence is Hindu)
Parsons' Jet Propulsion Lab grew out of the Harry Guggenheim-funded, Guggenheim Aeronautical Laboratory of the California Institute of Technology (GALCIT). According to Michael A Hoffman II: GALCIT had been run by the 'Hungarian-Jewish scientist Professor Theodore von Karman, who claimed to be a direct descendant of Rabbi Judah Loew'. Rabbi Loew was the tutor of Dr John Dee, producer of the Enochian system, Rabbi Loew is most famous , however, for the legend that he succeeded in creating artificial life, the Kabbalistic entity known as the Golem, a Gentile destroying monster. The instructions for making a Golem are contained in the Sefer Yetzirah, the oldest text of the Kabbalah.
The most famous golem narrative involves Rabbi Judah Loew the Maharal of Prague, a 16th century rabbi. He is reported to have created a golem to defend the Prague ghetto of Josefov from Anti-Semitic attacks. The story of the Golem first appeared in print in 1847 in a collection of Jewish tales entitled Galerie der Sippurim, published by Wolf Pascheles of Prague. About sixty years later, a fictional account was published by Yudl Rosenberg (1909).
According to the legend, the Emperor made an edict proclaiming that the Jews in Prague were to be either expelled or killed (depending on the version of the story). A golem could be made of clay from the banks of the Vltava river in Prague. Following the prescribed rituals, the Rabbi built the Golem and made him come to life by reciting special incantations in Hebrew. The Rabbi's intention was to have the Golem protect the Jewish community from harm. As Rabbi Loew's Golem grew bigger, he also became more violent and started killing the Gentiles (non-Jews) and spreading fear. Some versions also add that the Golem turns on his creator and attacks either his creator alone or the creator and the Jews as well.
In the face of the strength demonstrated and violence perpetrated by the Golem, the Emperor begs Rabbi Loew to destroy the Golem, and in return he would promise that the persecution of and violence towards the Jews would stop. The Rabbi accepted this offer. To destroy the Golem, he rubbed out the first letter of the word "emet" or "aemaeth" (God's truth) from the golem's forehead to make the Hebrew word "met" or "maeth", meaning death. It was made clear to the Emperor that the Golem of Prague's remains would be stored in a coffin in the attic of the Old-New Synagogue in Prague, and it can be summoned again if needed.
It is said that the body of Rabbi Loew's golem still lies in the genizah of the Old-New Synagogue in Prague. In some documents, the golem was stolen from genizah and entombed in a graveyard in Žižkov. In this very place, the great Žižkovská tower now stands.

Parson's Agape Lodge was affiliated with many Hollywood writers and actors, including John Carradine, father of David Carradine, drugged out star of 'Kung Fu' and the cinematic blood-geyser 'Kill Bill'. The elder Carradine read one of Crowley's poems at the inauguration of Agape Lodge No.2 in 1935. Dennis Hopper acted with Parsons' Scarlett Women Marjorie Cameron, who also knew Dean Stockwell.
Cameron...right pic from Kenneth Anger's (a self appointed Crowley heir based in Hollywood...who was connected to Manson associate Bobby Beausoliel....Anger was rumoured to have been his one time lover & room mate....As well as Anger being connected to LaVey* and his expanding church of Satan.) Inauguration of the Pleasuredome...as the Scarlett Woman....life immitating art or vice-versa?
* LaVey had apparently formed a close association with Roman Polanski shortly before the murders, when he served as the technical consultant for Polanski on his film Rosemary's Baby, in which he also made a (often disputed) cameo appearance as Satan.
Parsons, who frequented a Communist cell, attempted to produce a 'moonchild' or demonic homunculus in the womb of his Scarlett Woman....Marjorie Cameron, the 'Maenad' referenced in the Hymn to Pan. (Crowley's sodomite poem)
From Hymn to Pan...

"Give me the sign of the Open Eye,

good ol' sodomite sex magick....of the OTO 11th degree.
Parsons crowning achievement involved the 'Mannikin' of Crowley's fevered dream. According to occult investigators James Shelby Downard and William N Grimstad, on July 16 1945 at the Trinity Site in New Mexico, the first atomic bomb explosion was accompanied by a huge steel 'bottle' code-named 'Jumbo', which weighed nearly one-half million pounds. Jumbo was 25 feet long and 12 feet in diameter: it had been custom built at an eastern steel mill and expensively shipped by a 64 wheeler trailer. The government has never given a remotely reasonable explanation for Jumbo.
Downard believed that Jumbo contained what Crowley had called 'The Mannikin' - an inaminate body which was inundated with nuclear energy, thus producing a real homunculus, a goal of medieval alchemy.
Another major alchemical goal being....The Creation and Destruction of Primordial Matter...which could've arguably have been achieved with this atomic bomb.
"Early in this century a Freemason named Peter Kern was ordered to build a highly symbolic 'Gate of Death' at a key point on the ancient Jornada del muerto trail. It was known as the Gate with a Thousand Doors. At the front of this gate Kern was ceremonially murdered (decapitated) by a hooded executioner.
The Gate Of A Thousand Doors. It's creator, Peter Kern, a turn of the Twentieth Century Mason, created it both as an entrance to the village of his namesake, Kern Place, which is easily read across the gate, as well as the creation of a symbolic and metaphorical gateway into death. The gate also marks the entrance to a strip of land known as the Jornada Del Muerto, or Journey Of The Dead Man, near El Paso in the extreme west of Texas. It is also alleged that its creator was also ritualistically beheaded beneath it. This image is the element which represents JFK and his assassination in the public eye which led to him being hailed as the Second Christ, through his death in the spotlight. It is believed that JFK ritualistically passed under the gate and through the Jornada Del Muerto as part of a freemasonic rite.
To clarify any unnecessary rumours...Peter Kern, a turn-of-the-century Mason built a ceremonial entrance to his land to represent an esoteric gateway to death. This is the Jornada del Muerto, the journey of the dead man. Some believe that JFK passed through here on his way to Trinity and on to Dealy Plaza. It is located near El Paso. To my knowledge, it has no affiliation with Nazis nor do I CONDONE or PROMOTE any such beliefs. This is merely a mystical and bizarre piece of architecture I discovered on my quest for knowledge. If you look deeper, you will see its connection to Adam Kadmon as well.

"The are 33 segments in the human spinal column which according to occult lore is the vehicle of the fiery ascent of the Kundalini serpent force which resides in the human body. 33 is the highest degree of Scottish Rite Freemasonry. The Creation and Destruction of Primordial Matter occurred exactly on the Trinity Site, the 'Place of Fire,' with the explosion of the first atomic bomb, culminating untold thousands of years of Alchemical speculation and practise."
Trinity Site was chosen as the test site. The secluded Jornada del Muerto was perfect as it provided isolation for secrecy and safety, but was still close to Los Alamos.
Jornada del Muerto....perfect mystical toponomy meaning appropriately....Journey of the Dead Man.
The spot is now marked with an obligatory Osirian penis/obelisk.

Every year on Halloween, JPL acknowledges Parsons as one of its five founders with a memorial of sorts, using mannequins in a "Nativity Scene" that's on display behind the visitor center.
Although status as the 'Antichrist Belarion' and leadership role in the California OTO was known to the US government, Jack Parsons had no problem securing a top secret security clearance and finding employment with the Los Angeles Police Dept, the Los Angeles Superior Court, the US Army & Navy and the National Defense Research Council. From October, 1948 until June, 1950...Parsons transferred secret documents relating to US rocket and defense technology to the Israelis. He was caught by personnel from the Propulsion and Research Development Laboratory of Hughes Aircraft, but the US Attorney declined to prosecute Parsons for treason or espionage after intervention from J Edgar Hoover.
Parsons' ties to the world of science fiction did not stop with L Ron Hubbard: his influence on Ray Bradbury and Robert Heinlein is well known in science fiction circles. Parsons himself was inspired by sci-fi writer Jack Williamson writer of Darker Than You Think.
