Very very funny. I see that the film is dedicated to the man who invented the GLASS ONION. QUESTION #73 on the Beatles IQ Pop Quiz: "Glass onion" is to "light bulb" as "Bent Back Tulips" are to________________. If it's a relationship based on appearance, implied by geometric similarity, then bent back tulips might also be an invention of "modern times" (like the light bulb AND the cotton gin)-----AND---moreso-------perhaps it isn't the individual petals of the tupil opened up, because that be be bent OUT, or DOWN, but, rather what is bent BACK, is the stalk of the flower itself, geometrically---so, It's a tulip bulb not up, but sideways and out, supported by a bent coil, or tube, or wire----- Alexander Graham Bell. A BENT BACK TULIP--is an old time telephone reciever, the kind attached to old fashioned, vintage phones. So--the song refers to light bulbs, phones, and what all else? And Help refers to the Cotton Gin? What could these modern inventions have to do with the Beatles, and more, the demise or departure of one certain James Paul McC? Is Howard Hughes and the modern helicopter in "Glass Onion?" Or LaFayette and the "Steam Engine?" The Plastic Dirndl? The plastic Raincoat? Plastic? The Cathode Ray Tube? Marco Fermi and broadcast radio? Color Camera TV by NBC? Drag Humor by Milton Berle? Irish Poetry by Milton? The Model T by Henry Ford? Wine by Noah? Music by Jubal? ANd what have these inventions to do with the Fab Four? Fab. Fabulous? or.... FABricated? Invented? Oh........... This post is dedicated to Al Jolson, who, in 1928, created the First Real pop song in a talking movie, "Mammy" from "The Al Jolson Story." [Camera pull back.......back........BACK!!!!! revealing a giant, high ceilinged warehouse filled with sealed wooden crates all bearing the caveat in bold, stenciled lettering "Top Secret---Classified----Do Not Open." Finally the camera reaches and passes out backwards thru the gigantic hangar doors, where we discover Indiana Jones in his classic outfit and hat. We close up on his face and he utters the closing line of the film.] JONES: They've had it wrong for years. You see, I buried Paul. Don't worry, er, he's not really dead. He's just sealed up in a box somewhere in that warehouse. With plenty of food and water for decades. And a straw for air. It's OK, though. He chose it. He likes the privacy. He been writing songs and music all this time without being disturbed. I mean, his box is as big as a 4 bedroom house, and it has television and a kitchen, A/C, bathrooms, a pool, AND a recording studio. Don't worry. He'll be back. I'm supposed to pry open the lid in a couple years with a giant, golden crowbar. And what music will be made then. And what of William? Well, hehehe, he keeps the Golden Crowbar for us. The clock is ticking; and he knows when to hand it over. Camera backs up as Jones proceeds to shut the hangar doors with a mystic smile. FADE TO BLACK. Roll credits. Shot in PERISCOPE©MMVIII Any resemblance to films by G. Lucas is purely coincidental and will be plausibly denied by the cast, especially Doc and Bill. LOOK FOR A DVD RELEASE in 2009. TO include extra footage and maybe even some real unedited footage, stock footage, and a couple of stinky leftover feet as a bonus.

I'd LOVE to see ANOTHER example about from you. I will give to you a real fade instead... good joke GN, time to close the thread. Paul is not a 95 year old grandma: This is probably the beer going here, but anyway. Just for fun. The ears are different. The vertical chin lines are about four times deeper on her. The noses are different for sure, and in case this made it by one or two, the nose doesn't match up at all. The eyes are in the same place, yet the nose drops about a half inch from Sir P to Pauline. Not - even - close. Sorry, just had to re-visit this one. did I mention they're a good week apart in age?

How would Pauline look if she had one of those council estate face-lifts, a really tight ponytail!! Or if someone tied a knot in the flesh at the back of her head?

As amusing as this thread is, I think GN may be on the right track, but I'm puzzled by this:that Faul has a number 14 on his forehead, between his eyebrows, and somehow the number 14 mysteriously shows up under the war room picture that GN posted. It may be a coincidence, or....

The notion that 'Pauline is present day Paul' seems to be, or is, very perplexing.
I'd sooner believe that Pauline was impregnated (artificially or naturally) by Aleister Crowley and that present day Paul is her son, and even that is on the iffy side of the equation. Coincidentally?, Macca's daughters are married to guys named Aleister (or a variation thereof).

Okay, if this woman is supposedly "Bill's" mother, how would she have features that resembled someone who had extensive plastic surgery?
If this woman was really his mother, she most likely wouldn't look like the way the man looks today, but what he would have looked like had he not become a fake Mc Cartney?
Just wondering about this. Not saying she isn't, but how much would she resemble her son with all his faulterations?

Not saying she isn't, but how much would she resemble her son with all his faulterations? I was wondering the same thing, I mentioned it a while ago, though not sure if it was in this thread. GN was comparing the eye-crease on Macca's upper eye-lid with JPM's. If Macca had surgery to try to mimc JPM's eye-creases then Macca's original eyes would be different. That means Pauline also had surgery to create a similar eye-crease? But why? GN was suggesting that Pauline was actually playing the role of JPM, both in the 60s and present day! I think that suggestion, by GN, has shifted a bit, and if Pauline was Macca's mother, then what does that say about any surgery they might have had on their eyes? Perhaps they didn't have surgery there?

The only other possible thing is this, someone had tossed it around some time ago, that there is another Faul being used, even today. If the pictures posted is another old Faul, maybe this woman's is the mother of the other Faul. Now I would have to ask why another old Faul? But if this is indeed true, then we may have stumbled on another missing piece of an already twisted puzzle. Or someone is messing with our minds! Now one other thing I have to ask, if this Pauline woman posed as Paul in the 60's, as well as now, are we talking about her being the other Faul? Hey, maybe she's the "Mountain Man" we've all been talking about....

Pearl with the cover name of "Mary" was in Liverpool on June 1941 as history told. So, WAS Paul replaced by his mother? Crazy, really crazy, but try to let it be as possible. That could explain so many things. Listen to Pauline voice at: news.bbc.co.uk/player/nol/newsid_7320000/newsid_7324200/7324297.stm?bw=bb&mp=wm&asb=1&news=1&bbcws=1Even altered you can listen to Faul.

GN, she looks nothing like Mary McCartney... I think that it's much more likely that she is related to Faul. After all, if he didn't bear a good resemblence to Paul, he never would've gotten the job !

Having listened, I can say that there may well be family ties, but Faul she ain't. Is it really necessary to listen, though? Can anyone fathom that Pauline would still be raring to go on a world tour? Or will GN suggest that she is just wearing make-up to make it look like she could be Macca's mother or aunt?

I was doubtful as you all the first time one told me that but ... GN, she looks nothing like Mary McCartney... I see "similarities" with the "Magician Paul" of MMT booklet bottom page 18 too. BTW please revisit Magical Mystery Tour the film. Consider "Pauline" affair as true and ... The fool on the hill in France ... The SOE agents during "Your Mother Should Know" .. the meaning of the whole film ... La Marseillaise

When I find myself in times of trouble, mother Mary comes to me, speaking words of wisdom, let it be. And in my hour of darkness she is standing right in front of me, speaking words of wisdom, let it be.
Let it be, let it be, let it be, let it be.
