Funny you should mention that. There was an article in Fate magazine many years ago, pointing out that the behavior of Jeffrey Dahmer made no sense empirically, but when viewed from the point of how an Aztec (or was it Mayan?) priest would have prepared a human sacrifice back in the day, it was "by the book"!  The author of the article speculated that Jeffrey may have suffered brain damage in his most recent incarnation, and reverted to techniques he had learned in a previous existence. |

I have exactly one phobia. It's a phobia of being eaten alive by some kind of animal. Fish or even cows, seagulls, whatever, just eaten alive. A Buddhist friend of mine thinks it's a past life memory of my having been some kind of tiny newt and swallowed by a fish. I think I'm just pre-occupied by the fear of being eaten alive. The Aztecs made zombies? I've been to one of those soccer stadiums they made that is basically bricked with skulls. It sounds like the premise for an Adult Swim show: Jeffrey Dahmer, Time Traveler. |
