Thanks to Taf for pointing this out, I had no idea this Yoko blog existed: 100acorns.blogspot.com/t's been 44 years since my book of conceptual instructions, GRAPEFRUIT was first published in 1964.
On 15 June 1968, John Lennon & I planted two acorns for peace at Coventry Cathedral. It was the first of our many Peace 'Events'.
In the summer of 1996, I picked up from where I left off, and wrote 100 ACORNS.
Starting on the 40th anniversary of the Acorn Peace Event on 15 June 2008, I will publish here an 'Acorn' every day for 100 days.
After each day of sharing the instructions, you should feel free to question, discuss, and/or report what your mind tells you.
I'm just planting the seeds.
Have fun. Love, yoko June 2008Well, it's "very Yoko" for lack of a better expression. If I've calculated correctly, the "acorns" stop on Sept. 22, so make your comments if you so wish..

What are these instructions for? A few examples from the link:
No.1 (or how to make the city so light that it floats away in the sky)
Carry a stone. Go on carrying heavier stones until they become so heavy that the whole city starts to look lighter than what you are carrying.
No. 2 hide in the cupboard a) until your family starts to wonder b) until your family forgets you (make choice)
No. 3 face the wall throughout the year and imagine banging your head against it: a) slowly until the walk collapses and you see the sky. b) violently until your head is gone.
consider if it is such a catastrophe to live without your head or if it shouldn’t be easier for you to go around since your body would be much lighter.
No. 4 13th day future time
color yourself wait for the spring to come let us know when it comes.
No.5 Check the following statements: True/False
l) All streets are invisible. The visible ones are fake ones, though some visible ones are the end parts of the invisible ones.
2) If you wear something long enough it becomes part of you and you suffer from serious physical maladjustment when you take it off. A woman died from taking off her ring she wore for ten years. A man was found to be non-existent when his title was taken away.
3) When you leave things, you leave your spirit behind as well. But if you don't leave them, you age.
4) Your brother is the man you killed in the past world. He was born in your family because he wanted to be near you.
5) There are one thousand suns rising every day. We only see one of them because of our fixation on monolithic thinking.
6) Grapefruit is a hybrid of lemon and orange. Snow is a hybrid of wish and lament
No. 6 Get a piece of rubber the size of your palm. Imagine yourself stretching the rubber to cover the world with it. See how much you can cover. Hang the piece of rubber on the wall beside your bed.
Does this make sense to anyone? Am I just too simple-minded to grasp Yoko's kind of Peace?

Very deep thoughts mixed with tidbits of wisdom, that's all.

This is a very interesting read, but the spelling/grammar and paragraphs like the one below make the editor in me cringe!!!! With THAT background..it's time to move into John David Chapman, Fort Chaffee connections, World Vision and George Bush, and John Hinckley. It seems that no one has ever bothered to research whether or not John David Champan was ever in the military. This really resonates with me: "For decades all loyal Americans have assumed that FEMA only operated in times of natural emergency inside the uS. I'm pretty smart and I NEVER knew that FEMA was the main coordinator for all these nasty refugee camps that we have. I'm appalled and disgusted this ruse has gone on for decades. They don't EVER to seem to let them go!??
basically, FEMA is just a "flesh keeper" of our "concentration camps" for refugees! It's shocking. Maybe Bush was right in dismantling FEMA. Maybe he cut off their funding to destroy this horiffic refugee game the CIA was playing beyond Congressional Control. Maybe New Orleans was a massive "bomb hit" in retaliation for the FEMA funding cut off. Maybe FEMA INTENTIONALLY REFUSED TO HELP;"
