I have a theory that I am hoping someone else might be able to do more with than I can.
There is an author by the name of Maurice Cottrell who has been working with the Mayan calendar and language. He was able to determine that the large carving on top of a sarcophagus lid had a hidden code.
I have watched a talk given by Mr. Cottrell and read one of his books, but unfortunately when trying to find any images to post for this thread, I couldn't find any examples. Hopefully I can describe it verbally well enough for you to understand, if you aren't already familiar.
He noticed at the edge of the sarcophagus lid there were some small tiny holes. To make a very long story short, he finally figured out that if he took a tracing of the image, made a duplicate, overlaid the two tracings by matching up these small barely seen drill holes - he could rotate the two images and make NEW IMAGES - but you have to know where the spots are that need to be matched up for the images to turn out properly.
He was selling hardbound copies of the work and transparencies for many hundreds of dollars retail, so I started thinking that maybe this idea wasn't fully "out" yet. Maybe this has already been discussed, but I haven't seen it mentioned as a possibility for working with the Beatles Codes.
When viewing the Sgt. Pepper cover, as well as so many other abstract artwork they used, I just having an inkling that this ancient method of communication would be right up their alley, considering all the other references.
In fact, the reason that I connected this to the Beatles, is that in the lecture I saw, Mr. Cottrell said that these people must have been able to collate their left and right brain hemispheres to be able to actually see an image that is split up like that. For some reason I thought...
The girl with kalaidescope eyes...
I wonder if that is a reference for someone to look at these images in this "kalaidescope" style?
I do not have the image manipulation skills necessary to test out this theory, so I'm hoping I can tweak someone else's curiosity to see if I am on the right track.
I did start looking at album cover art to see if I could find any "indicators" or places that would make sense to match up, like the drill holes.
One thing I found in a lot of the newer bands and hip hop artists is they would usually have a star or a few stars off up in a corner. Or maybe there would be a flash of "bling" off someone's jewelry, or some other small thing that you generally wouldn't notice.
The only thing I ask, is if someone does find there is an additional code, that ya share the credit.

I forgot to mention something about his method, although I don't know if it would be pertinent for this usage or not. When placing the two images together, the turns one of them over, so the two positive images are facing each other.
I guess we could try it both ways?
I want to have kalaidescope eyes!

There have been threads here devoted to merging Sgt Pepper images, and the like. Also the DaVinci code "Last Supper" images, which some have related to "the Beatle code" suggested by Iamaphoney in his Rotten Apple material. You might try using the Search function at the top of the page to access some of these; I don't recall just where they are. In any case, I'd say we've been down that road here. Other than a walrus or two, I can't say I've been overly impressed, though there was a YouTube video somewhere with the edges of Pepper extended in such a way as to suggest a devil and an angel that was pretty cool. This isn't it: www.youtube.com/watch?v=_PgRznuRseAthis is: www.youtube.com/watch?v=gZez_k4vAzUat the end of the video

Sorry, no disrespect to your theory intended, b/c I'm sure it's a fine theory, but the title of the thread just made me think of this: I have a theory! (Monty Python) www.youtube.com/watch?v=FOzVkSFnKxI

Well, I see people are viewing, but no comment yet.
I'm anxious to hear if anyone has tried this method before?
I'm still searching for some examples of images from Cottrell's book but I can't find a single one online. Relating to the Beatles I assume they would be similar to the mirrored messages, although the ones he does are always pictographs. But then that is the style of Mayan writing.
When looking at all inner sleeve art and pictures included with albums, there is a lot of animated swirly images, which I think would be perfect for this sort of kalaidescoping effect.

Shoot, my timing was off.
The issue is that you absolutely have to know the right "key" or you won't get anything. You can't just overlay images.
On Cottrell's sarcophagus for example, the holes were very small in the upper left hand corner around the border of the image. He could have spent a million years overlaying it, but if he didn't hit on the key it would be gibberish.

After reading so many of your posts I had hoped your knowledge of esoteric subjects might provide me with an extra puzzle piece.

Please don't give up on me quite yet.
For example, remember the unexplained circles on the sign on the back side of Abbey Road?
The circles are in the upper left hand corner.
It doesn't hurt to try?
I wish I could do this myself so I wasn't coming here empty handed. I will try to play with Photoshop, although this may take a while. I know there are folks out there that know Photoshop like the back of their hand, so I thought somebody could give it a try.

If someone does want to try...
You flip one of the images over, so the right sides are together, and then match up the circles, using it as a pivot point. Then you just turn it around until an image becomes obvious.
Hard to know what to look for. Knowing their other clues, I would think it would be obvious if there is something there.

Personally, I think there is room for trying different combinations like that. I have seen so much made of the mirror issue, and it seems to me if we can find hidden things in that manner, then it makes sense to check other possibilitie approaches.
But your example is using two differing images, if I understand right - almost like a template?
Cottrell's method uses the same image, two copies. He makes transparencies and showed them manually in the video, but Photoshop has the ability to make the layers transparent and to swivel on a pivot spot.
I have been trying to find the video where he explains how he does it, and I can't even find that! I don't know if I had downloaded it or watched it online now. I've been cramming my brain with so many people's ideas in a short period of time, that all my old knowledge seems to have jumped out my ear!
I guess I jumped the gun a little and should have gathered my evidence first. I just know that people my son's age have such fast and extraordinary skills with photo manipulation that I figured somebody could do it in about five minutes. I was also wanting to find out if someone had already done this, and if so I was going to research their findings first.

Plus, I don't know why, and this is worth nothing to anyone but me - but that kalaidescope eyes thing just hums for me. It feels like a clue.
I am watching "Help" right now online. I had only seen parts of it and not watched all the way through. The storyline is pretty crazy, just on the surface. Blood sacrifice.
So far the scene that really jumped at me:
When the Crowley-esque villain is sitting in the garden with a Catholic priest, explaining to the priest why they are encouraging the children to participate in the Fox Hunt....because they need to understand the "need for blood well-shed." They are even acting out the execution along to the music, while we all hum along...
Oh, and the one where Ringo is hangin upside down, unmistakable in the "Hanged Man" position with his leg bent, and then the rope breaks right between the two large ski-lift towers, and he slides down between them.

OMG - Ok, now I've proven myself to be a complete idiot. That would be the obvious place to look - but I swear I did three Google searches and it didn't come up!! Can I use sleep deprivation as an excuse? Thank you Iameye for tactfully posting that for me. ;D

I'd never seen the Wizard of Oz hanged man before. Interesting - they labeled it as a "suicide" but it appeared to me that he is hanging upside down from a tree.

The way "McCartney" is written here many of the letters are ambiguous and the "CC" is stacked to look like an "E" so it could just as easily say "M. Eastman." -j

Wow. Jarvitronics just put in words something I was picking up subconsciously, but never could latch on to. Every time I saw that image I would feel as if I missing something, but then I would start looking at the eye. M Eastman! But of course!

Letter B: Could you finish that thought for us noobs please? Wasn't Eastman someone's maiden name? Those types of stylized lines are just what I am talking about. Also, in another thread I saw the animated inside sleeves (?) for MMT and there were a lot of swirly clouds, and interesting lines in those images. I'm sorry, but I didn't see the connection with kalaidescope eyes and the red drum front. Perhaps I have that Sun God symbolism in the forefront of my brain right now, but I guess that was my impression when I saw it. Or the giant red eye of Mordor from Lord of the Rings? You know, I just saw an image in the news the other day of planets that looked like a large red eye as well. I guess they really want our subconscious to get that message, whatever it is, since we see it so much. I've always found it very unfair that my subconscious mind, which is supposed to be me, is actually working against me somehow.

img385.imageshack.us/my.php?image=cottrellwt4.gifOk, if I uploaded correctly, here is an example of a Cottrell image. Edit - I looked at the image and it is rather small. If you follow the link to the website that Iameye posted above and click on the terracotta head it takes you to a walk-thru of what he is teaching, but you can click ahead to page 10 and beyond to see the images we are referring to.

Thank you again for your assistance Iameye. Now at least people can connect the kaleidescope effect, as all the little lines and angles and shapes cross over each other they make new composite images, just as in a kaleidescope.
