Thanks for posting these, JoJo! Interesting stuff, indeed. Especially near the end of the last mp3 when Rhodes referred to himself as the "Risen Son of Man", and pledged his eternal allegiance to the King of Cosmania. Not really... ;D

The Reelz Channel "reelzy" wanted to be seen. It kept barging in on the video, so I hardly got to see Emitt win the turtleneck sweater.

Unfortunately, the band aren't introduced by a goat-horn flashing Don Knotts this time around, but there's more to life than Don Knotts flashing goat-horns. Or so I've been told. ;D

Emitt Rhodes sounds very Faul-ish. And The Merry-Go-Round sound very Beatles-esque (the harmonies especially). And remember, they were lip-synching to recordings. So it would not be out of the realm of possibility for the Beatles to either 1) let front men lip-synch to their recordings or 2) to disguise themselves as another group/performer.
Oh yes. On that second Merry-Go-Round song, the voice sounds very Lennon-esque (while the first sounds like Paul).

The "American Dream" video has been banned from YouTube for the umpteenth time, unfortunately. However here is a version, without the proper music, that they allowed, so you can still see the visual clues in the video, which seem to portray Faul and Linda (loosely) imo, but have deeper meaning still. www.youtube.com/watch?v=RMLCx-kGVdA <---Click on link to see videoAs P(D)enny pointed out at the start of this thread, Emitt Rhodes put out an album called "American Dream", and he may have been intended to be used as a McCartney replacement. Neil Young uses the connection to address Paul, Faul, and, on another level, the destruction of "the American dream" of prosperity that the presidential villains shown in the video have sold down the river. However a significant clue is that the patriots in the clouds, and the "heavenly" versions of Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young seem unconcerned, and are even visibly jovial. The point seems to be that the spirit of the American dream is unfazed by the corrupted physical destruction of it. Perhaps it lives on, in a higher dimension where the crooks, theives, and liars can't destroy it, and the "American dreamers" will yet live to see a grand manifestation of what the founding fathers originally intended for all of us (which is a free and just society, btw; not an illuminati-run prison planet). I don't think the video is about Emitt Rhodes so much, however. For whatever reason, he appears not to have made the cut. Here's a bit of the actual song:www.youtube.com/watch?v=85piS78trwUThis particular verse may apply to Emitt Rhodes, or possibly the real Paul McCartney. I'll post more shortly about all that I see in the American Dream video, and the story it appears to tell.

Plot Summary for The One Man Beatles (2009) A young director crosses the ocean to find Emitt Rhodes, the mysterious forgotten American pop star from the 1960s/70s, once dubbed as the secret alter ego of Paul McCartney. But these theories are refuted by Emitt himself, flushed out and placed in front of a video camera after many years spent holed up in his house full of old guitars and vintage amplifiers. His words reveal a past filled with regrets. His voice and his music proving his pure talent. Thanks for the interview alert, P(D)enny. I listened with interest. He reminds me of a musician friend of mine. Also coming up soon at WFMU: www.wfmu.org/Yoko Ono on Brian Turner's show Tuesday, February 16th from 3-6pm!"At 77, Yoko has just released one of her best records, Between My Head and the Sky, a cosmic set of songs featuring Daniel Carter, Yuka Honda, son Sean and others in what looks like a full resurrection of the Plastic Ono Band moniker. In fact, an epic big-band version will be performing a (now sold-out) set at BAM on February 16th with a lineup that will include the boggling collision of Cornelius, Paul Simon, Thurston Moore, Jim Keltner, Haruomi Hosono, Eric Clapton, Kim Gordon and Bette Midler. Tune in that afternoon when Brian gets the exciting opportunity to sit down with Yoko at her studio and delve into the life and mind of one of the great avant-garde figures in conceptual, performance, visual and sound art!" Oh please...

I found this information regarding the esoteric meaning of the Spiral Staircase or Helter Skelter: The Masonic Handbook www.scribd.com/doc/4023498/The-Masonic-Handbook-Series-The-Craft-Degrees-Handbooks Bearing this fact in mind we shall the better understand the ceremony of closing, wherein the JW, representing the Body, declares that in this degree they have discovered a sacred symbol, representing God. The fact that it is the JW who makes this announcement, and not the SW, is explained by the correct interpretation of the Winding Staircase. This Staircase is our own body, as we shall explain later (p93). The Winding Staircase with its three, five, seven or more steps, must have puzzled many thoughtful Brethren, who have no doubt wondered why it was that those who codified our rituals could not make up their minds concerning the exact number of the steps the Staircase had. This very fact warns us that it is an allegory, for the thing disguised under this name can be considered to consist of three parts, five parts, seven parts, and possibly more. The three who rule a Lodge represent the Body, Soul, and Spirit which constitute Man. The five who form a Lodge are the five senses of the physical man. But the physical man has both soul and spirit, each of which has its own peculiar sense, the Sould having psychic faculties, and the spirit the mystical and inspirational. Although the ordinary man while on earth only functions through the five physical senses, those who are approaching perfection, such as the Great Masters and religious teachers of the world, function through all seven (94). Perhaps at this point one should explain that the Temple at Jerusalem, masonically, is an allegory for the Temple of Humanity raised to the glory of God, or, to use a Christian simile, the Church of Christ on earth, into whose fabric every true mason is built, dedicating his body and soul as a perfect ashlar in its construction. This Winding Staircase spiraled round a central column, so that when the Brethren reached the top they had advanced neither to the East nor to the West, but were still revolving around the center. To an Eastern Brother this Winding Staircase will certainly recall the ladder of reincarnation, by the gradual ascent of which the Soul in time returns to God, from Whom it came, traveling upwards in a spiral.
But to the Western mind this Staircase is our body, subdued, brought under control, and dedicated to the glory of God. This done we receive our wages, which are knowledge of God in that hidden chamber which is within us (95). www.sirbacon.org/mcompeer.htmEntrance into a Masonic lodge passes between the two columns, representing Jachin and Boaz, those great brass columns that flanked the outer porch of the Temple of Solomon. On each respective column is a globe. One globe is a map of the world, the other a map of the heavens. Inside the columns to the right a spiral staircase leads up to the Middle Chamber. Significantly, there is also a ladder (not mentioned in the Bible) in the Masonic symbolism. The ladder connects the ground floor of the lodge with its roof, but symbolically the ladder is Jacob's Ladder by which the Mason hopes to climb at some future date to heaven. OK My first post here. Hope I do this right. I am intrigued by the dissection of "clues" posters are able to discern. Really helps one think out of the box. I had no understanding of Helter Skelter other than it had to do with murder at the mind of C. Manson. Reading the esoterica ideas and research has been a nice replacement for such horror. I would like to read your thoughts about the spiral staircase aka helter skelter and how it might fit in with DNA. Since DNA is shown in spiral form I wonder if this fits in with helter skelter/ spiral staircase. It is my understanding that once our frequencies rise and we are beyond the veil we attain more DNA strands. ( I do not recall how many strands are added -sorry) Also, thank you for the Emitt Rhodes videos and discussion. The older I get the more I realize I do not know. lol Thank you proboarders.
