Howard announced it this morning for any of you Sirius listeners.
(I'll get a copy of course)
Edit: He will also be on "The View", for those who are interested.

Is he likely to ask any pertinent questions? What time and where can I get it in the UK?

It's on Sirius Satellite Radio, you have to be a subscriber, but no worries, it will be easy to get not very long after broadcast. A Stern interview is very much a wild card, could be just about anything that comes out of it..

Yeah that's what I thought, have you considered trying to get in touch with Stern to encourage him to ask some of our questions?

I've been listening to Howard long enough (15 years I think) to know he wouldn't even entertain the idea, so.. He has his own ideas about what makes an interesting celeb interview, and he'll no doubt apply that formula here, meaning questions about women, sex, and women again. (but probably has been warned about asking about Heather) All the same, it will be entertaining. Hey, last time he was on, we heard the story about how Yoko approached him previous to meeting John for the first time.. So ya never know.

Jo, I forgot about that. I know that you mentioned it here before. Did he say WHY she approached him ?

Thank you, Jo. That's an interesting way for her to get into the "inner circle".

the interesting thing about the View appearance was the use of the "swirl" as part of the graphic today...that and the shout out to Jo Jo! ;D

Q: "Why do so many songs deal with the light, in other words, I see references to light shining through, and my theory was...you went through a dark period, shitty marriage...it's almost as if you're saying now there's a light shining on me...you're free" Not so shockingly, Paul just basically agrees with Howard on this and does NOT say "well, you know, I AM the bleeding reincarnation of Lucifer!" Bummer, that.

Faul starts singing "A Very Merry Un-birthday to You" to Howard right at the start. That song comes from Disney's version of "Alice in Wonderland". Kind of points to Grandfather Aleister, imo.

We've had a number of discussions about why Pete Best was replaced. In this interview, Faul says that there was one night when Pete was unavailable, and Ringo filled in for him, and blew the other band members away with how good he was, and he implied that after that they knew he would be the drummer to have. (For what it's worth.)

When discussing the allegation that John was gay, he said he and John used to "top and tail" like kids do.. I only mention it 'cause I couldn't figure out what the heck he was talking about. Probably this: 3. U.K. sleep two in same bed: to put two people, especially children, to sleep in the same bed with their heads at opposite ends of it ( informal ) encarta.msn.com/dictionary_561534185/top-and-tail.htmlThere was also the Abbey Road discussion, and how they were going to call it "Everest". Pity Howard didn't know about the other alternate title, "Billy's Left Boot." Don't know about the Pete Best story, sounds vaguely wrong, and like something he's pulling out of his arse again..

Jo, you know that he's famous for doing just that. You have to take at least half of what comes out of that man's mouth with a "grain of salt". "Top & Tails" indeed ! Paul & John met when they were in their mid to late teens. I'm not saying that they didn't do that occasionally. I am saying that what he said is a really strange response to the question asked.

Barbara Walters did begin to introduce him at 11:11 and he walked on at 11:12. but I think Walters was a little wild today and delayed the entrance ... ;D Faul starts singing "A Very Merry Un-birthday to You" to Howard right at the start. To me Oh, you A very merry unbirthday To you Who, me? To you Oh, me Let's all congratulate us with another cup of tea A very merry unbirthday to you Now statistics prove Prove that you've one birthday Imagine just one birthday every year Ah, but there are 364 unbirthdays Precisely why we're gathered here to cheer A very merry unbirthday To me? To you A very merry unbirthday For me? For you Now blow the candle out, my dear And make your wish come true A very merry unbirthday to you

Paul & John met when they were in their mid to late teens. I'm not saying that they didn't do that occasionally. I am saying that what he said is a really strange response to the question asked. I don't think it was strange at all. He was being asked about whether John was gay or not, and since only John could really answer that Sir Paul kind of dodged the question by saying, in a roundabout way, that the only thing that ever happened between the two of them was sharing a bed together. You have to remember that in the new John Lennon biography, Phillip Norman claims that Paul and John slept together, so it is not only John's sexuality that Paul feels he needs to defend, but also his own. Considering the way the boys all slept in the back room of a old theater when they were in Hamburg and then later shared an apartment in London, I think it's pretty much a given that at some point Paul and John would have slept in the same bed, but in those days that didn't mean anything between two friends. In fact, John and Stu probably bunked together too. It definitely doesn't mean anything happened between them..

OR he played the sensationalist media safe card of all time, soft interview....was it on BOTH howard and the view? or just howard? btw, the view link skips segment four, which was the closer......jo, do you have it? either way...

Thanks Eye! I know the Stern video will be available pretty soon, Howard TV will have it on in a day or so, and then into the file sharing very quickly after.. That crowd is pretty productive.
