I think I've got it- it's an eclipse within an eclipse.... The large crescent at the bottom with the Greek geometric pattern in it is the uncovered part of the moon, and the part above it with headdress and the rest is the shadowed portion. Then there is a smaller version inside the large one, with a downward facing crescent and the scarab/cat head looking portion being the shadowed part. Somehow this may show not only the importance of the 7/7 lunar eclipse but also its relationship to the second (solar?) eclipse coming in July as well. All of the geometry and artwork inside of the eclipses denoting just how powerful these energies will be!
