(After much consideration I have decided to post this here before publishing it widely.) The Beatles played a lovely prank. Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band is a brilliant parody of Lewis Carroll's Through The Looking Glass and Edgar Allan Poe's Gold Bug, complete with a treasure map and a hidden treasure. "X" marks the spot. Paul's heart is where the treasure is located. This is where you dig. -j ?

Was it the Beatles who came up with this elaborate "thing" or was it the brainchild of the Illuminati handlers over them???

Well clearly a bit of both, in a manner of speaking, but I wouldn't use the terms "handlers" or "Illuminati" with the Beatles; particularly the latter, as it has come to be associated with a truly vile bunch of behind-the-scenes political manipulators pursuing nefarious purposes. It may be presumptive to assume that there were any "handlers" per se in the case of the Beatles. That is, in the way the word is usually used: suggesting that a mind-controlled person is being unwittingly manipulated by another who pulls the strings. Say what you will about Yoko, John wasn't a Cathy Obrien.
The sophistication of the Beatles' work clearly suggests that they were part of something elaborately planned and executed, imo; an act too complex to be just a whimsical success. But I would never think of Sgt. Pepper as "an Illuminati masterpiece", any more than I would call it "a Mafia success". What is in the music is what matters.

What is Bagism? "What’s Bagism? It’s like...a tag for what we all do, we’re all in a bag ya know, and we realised that we came from two bags - I was in this pop bag going round and round in my little clique, and she was in her little avant-garde clique going round and round, and you’re in your little tele clique and they’re in their...ya know? And we all sort of come out and look at each other every now and then, but we don’t communicate. And we all intellectualize about how there is no barrier between art, music, poetry... but we’re still all - I’m a rock and roller, he’s a poet... So we just came up with the word so you would ask us what bagism is, and we’d say WE’RE ALL IN A BAG BABY!" Bagism was John's way of being 'sack religious', but nobody got the joke. -j

phosphorous 1620s, "the morning star," from L. Phosphorus "morning star," from Gk. Phosphoros "morning star," lit. "torchbearer," from phos "light" (related to phainein "to show, to bring to light;" see phantasm) + phoros "bearer," from pherein "to carry" (see infer). Meaning "substance or organism that shines of itself" is attested from 1640s. As the name of a non-metallic chemical element ["Accidentally obtained from urine in 1660s by Brandt, an alchemist of Hamburg, in the course of his search for the philosophers' stone." OED], it is recorded from 1680, originally one among several substances so called; the word used exclusively of the element from c.1750.
