Fridays at 7-8 PM Eastern Time on WRKC
can be heard on the net here: departments.kings.edu/wrkc/
wrkc.kings.edu/list/current.html <--- direct link
"Beatle Ed"'s claim to fame is that he "accidently" trespassed onto Faul's
farm, and was invited in for tea. Kinda like that delivery guy in the "Dance Tonight"
video, I suppose.
(I should ask him if Sir Paul's house is like it's shown in that video. ;D)
In any case, it's worth a listen. 'Beatle Ed' himself is like a star-struck
teenager (though he is in his 50s) who attends Beatlefest type events,
and interviews anyone and everyone who is willing to talk.
He has interviewed many people who have had dealings with the Beatles,
including May Pang and Denny Lane, as well as people who were - like -
"Paul's garbage man", etc.
In addition, he has interviewed any number of Rock and Roll legends
and has-beens as an extension of his pursuit of 'Beatle' information,
although he apparently isn't too keen on the "Paul Is Dead" thing.
(I know. :
Never-the-less, the show is well worth a listen. It is divided into Beatle music
and news segments, sprinkled with interviews he has done.
Ed has a klutzy sort of "folksiness" which can be more than a little annoying,
frankly, but there are gems to be found/heard that make the listening worthwhile.
I invite you all to have a listen on Friday evenings.
Here's another review of the show that may be a bit kinder than mine:

Be there or, um, try again next week.
