en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Creation_of_Adam Composition God's right arm is outstretched to impart the spark of life from his own finger into that of Adam, whose left arm is extended in a pose mirroring God's, a reminder that man is created in the image and likeness of God (Gen 1:26). Another point is that Adam's finger and God's finger are not touching. It gives the impression that God, the giver of life, is reaching out to Adam who receives it; they are not on "the same level" as would be two humans shaking hands, for instance. "living on land" The Creation of Adam is generally thought to depict the excerpt "God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him" www.reuters.com/article/2013/03/10/us-pope-succession-idUSBRE92808520130310Many hypotheses have been formulated regarding the identity and meaning of the figures around God. The person protected by God's left arm might be Eve due to the figure's feminine appearance and gaze towards Adam, but was also suggested to be Virgin Mary, Sophia, the personified human soul, or an angel of feminine build.

The Field is wide open and it is astonishingly small. Volare, oh oh E contare, oh oh oh oh www.foxnews.com/opinion/2013/03/11/looking-for-joy-and-conviction-about-mission-from-next-pope/The next pope -- looking for joy and a strong personality in Rome Read more: www.foxnews.com/opinion/2013/03/11/looking-for-joy-and-conviction-about-mission-from-next-pope/#ixzz2NEn5bKdOBy a process of elimination, based on assumptions that have been made by informed analysts and many cardinals over the last few weeks regarding the "necessary qualities" for the next pope. -- The next pope should be relatively young (let's say under 73 years of age). -- He should not be from Germany (Benedict) or Poland (John Paul II)....--He should not have been named in any major international controversy..
--He should not be linked closely to the last two Vatican secretaries of state (Sodano and Bertone)... --He should have a working grasp of Italian as it is the common language of the Vatican... --He should be fluent in English or Spanish (English is important for the global media and almost half of the world's Catholics speak Spanish) --He should have significant pastoral experience in a parish or diocese -- that eliminates someone who has only had an office job. -- He should have lived some period in Rome, so as to know the inner workings of the Vatican bureaucracy.... --He should be an excellent communicator in order to spread the Gospel message to a skeptical world.... --He should radiate spiritual joy, as several cardinals in the pre-conclave meetings have insisted... --He should be a good judge of character, and appoint people to positions of leadership based on proven competence rather than on simple recommendation, friendship, or favors... --He should be known as a good manager, projecting an inspirational vision, unafraid to correct and reform against strong opposition, all without neglecting painful tasks of governance.... buongiorno! By process of elimination, one is chosen. Based on many, many assumptions en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Assumption_of_MaryVolare, oh oh Cantare, oh oh oh oh Let's fly way up to the clouds Away from the maddening crowds We can sing in the glow of a star that I know of ;D Where lovers can find peace of mind Let us leave the confusion and all disillusion behind Just like birds of a feather, a rainbow together we'll find
Volare, oh oh E contare, oh oh oh oh No wonder my happy heart sings Your love has given me wings Penso che un sogno cosi non ritorni mai piu Mi dipingevo le mani e la faccia di blu Poi d'improvviso venivo dal vento rapito E incominciavo a volare nel cielo infinito
Volare, oh oh E contare, oh oh oh oh Nel blu, dipinto di blu Felice di stare lassu E volavo, volavo felice Piu in alto del sole ed ancora piu su Mentre il mondo pian piano spariva lontano laggiu Una musica dolce suonava soltanto per me
Volare, oh oh E cantare, oh oh oh oh No wonder my happy heart sings Your love has given me wings Nel blu, dipinto di blu Felice di stare lassu
fly I think, that dream does not come back ever again. I painted my face and hands blue. Then suddenly I was being kidnapped by the wind. And I began to fly in the endless sky. Flying, oh, oh! Singing, oh, oh, oh, oh! In the blue painted blue. Happy to be up there. And I flew, I flew happily to the heights of the sun. As the world slowly disappeared out there, A soft music was playing just for me. Flying, oh, oh! Singing, oh, oh, oh, oh! In the blue painted blue. Happy to be up there. In the blue painted blue. Happy to be up there.

Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Is-rael. Someday soon the Son is gonna shine, Macca. It's all right. lol

"We've seen Pope Paul, Pope John Paul....Pope Pius…."
… Pope Pion, Rope a Dope Pope. The Pope of Greenwich Village, Pope Elope (never to return), a Pope Soap, Pope Grope (need we say more?) Pope Slipperius Slope, Popo Gigio, (who shared the same stage as…) Pope Tubus Falope, Pope Nohopius, Pope Pope (cause nothing came to mind after the white smoke)
But no James Paul Pope (at least in that pic)

You're forgetting someone. The Key to the Doctrine
But it seems that the precise ground for the definition is in the following passage just before the definition: "We must remember especially that, since the second century, the Virgin Mary has been presented by the Holy Fathers as the New Eve, who, although subject to the New Adam, was most closely associated with Him in that struggle against the infernal enemy which, as foretold in the protoevangelium, was to result in that most complete victory over sin and death, which are always correlated in the writings of the Apostle of the Gentiles. Wherefore, just as the glorious resurrection of Christ was an essential part and final sign of this victory, so also that struggle which was common to the Blessed Virgin and her Son had to be closed by the 'glorification' of her virginal body" (AAS 42. 768).
The thought is brilliant. The Pope first recalled the New Eve theme, which we have seen. Then he focused on the fact, within that theme, that the New Eve had been closely associated with the New Adam in the struggle against sin and death. Still further, in the case of her Son, that struggle had brought glorification. Since the struggle was in common to both, then a common cause would have a common effect: it had to bring a parallel glorification to her, the Assumption.www.asianews.it/news-en/Pope:-Mary's-Assumption-to-Heaven,-Christ's-Easter-mystery-accomplished-in-her-25554.html lol
