At the risk of sounding like an after-school special... "How are you supposed to do your job when you're never around! sniffle sniffle"
But siriusly, "it's ee-easy."
Click on the downwards arrow next to the cog in the upper right corner of your post window. "Delete Post" will be one of the options that drops down.

The forum now seems to be set to automatic video imbedding. I often intentionally don't imbed my video links so that they don't slow down the loading. It's particularly slow when loading any page that B has commented on, he has three video links in his tagline.

Sorry sorry... My fault!
I didn't realize this would be the effect (but I should have) when I was monkeying around with the forum settings.
I have been spending more time here due to complaints about a certain situation, but anyway..
I'll fix the embed thing right away!

Usually, when we hear or read something new, we just compare it to our own ideas. If it is the same, we accept it and say that it is correct. If it is not, we say it is incorrect. In either case, we learn nothing. ~ Thich Nhat Hanh ~
Sherlock Holmes to Watson: "Never theorize before you have data. Invariably, you end up twisting facts to suit theories, instead of theories to suit facts."
While were here, linus- maybe we can also delete the signature option after every post? With all due respect, I think it's distracting from the body of posted comments.

Well, there's really no way to stop people from having signature text anyway, from what I see in the forum settings.
But TBH I probably wouldn't anyway, most people enjoy it and I am guilty of it as well..

"It's fun to speculate" - Geyeah, but there used to be a LINE. Bring back the line, at least. Otherwise, for future members, may I suggest when you edit your profile, skip the sig. We'll get it, get YOU.. Go for Most Recent Status option. Really. I could post the dictionary as my signature if I wanted to, right?

Yeah, the new format makes the tagline a little distracting and it seems like part of the post. There is a black line separating it from the body of the post, but it's hard to see on the dark gray posts. It helps to change the text color of your tagline, preferably to a neutral color. You'll have to copy/paste a font color code to your "edit profile" page, though. But it seems to help differentiate it from your post. But to ban taglines would be like banning the use of large fonts. My biggest suggestion would be to change the default avatars. (they're creepy & fugly)

The line is there, just really hard to see with our forum colors. I don't know what to tell ya.. There are however a couple of "skins" you can choose in your profile, one is called "PID Classic" (based on TKIN's old colors) and one very vanilla one called "Proboards default". Maybe one of those would work better. There is also a library of board themes here: www.proboards.com/library/themes/859169Anyone who would like to pick one or more to have as a board option, please let me know. As for the default avatar, I can change that, and you can't get less creepy than this: But I'm open to suggestions..

The forum banner could be a possible avatar choice. How about the Butcher cover? I'm surprised iWill hasn't suggested the Imagine memorial. We get it, get you...
