thank you, beacon, but that 'lucy' could have been you. or me. or anyone. just google the names of his wife and kids, cousins, friends, whatever, create an e-mail account, and that's it. why would a dying man play games? or 'paulie'? what is the point? creating and perpetuating a myth? well done, then. but eventually running in circles pis*es you off and you just stop caring. or that is the point? giving up? Why play games indeed? I dont have the answers I just play the game in the hope that one day I will find out!

remember, there is still hope, 'paulie' is somewhere reading our posts, until the end, and then lucy will be by his side to write down his final words. 'always... remember...hyacinth...go back to...sgt pepper...it's there...all you need is...love...imagine...'
paulie, darling, happy birthday. and just pm any one of us here to let us know you're still living. we were worried, you know?

I read the news today oh, boy About a lucky man who made the grade And though the news was rather sad Well, I just had to laugh I saw the photograph He blew his mind out in a car He didn't notice that the lights had changed A crowd of people stood and stared They'd seen his face before Nobody was really sure if he was from the house of lords
I saw a film today oh, boy The english army had just won the war A crowd of people turned away But I just had to look Having read the book I'd love to turn you on.
Woke up, fell out of bed Dragged a comb across my head Found my way downstairs and drank a cup And looking up, I noticed I was late Found my coat and grabbed my hat Made the bus in seconds flat Found my way upstairs and had a smoke And somebody spoke and I went into a dream Ah
I read the news today oh, boy Four thousand holes in blackburn, lancashire And though the holes were rather small They had to count them all Now they know how many holes it takes to fill the albert hall I'd love to turn you on
Going to go back to this. The entire thing. Made the Grade grade (n.) 1510s, "degree of measurement," from French grade "grade, degree" (16c.), from Latin gradus "step, pace, gait, walk;" figuratively "a step, stage, degree," related to gradi "to walk, step, go," from PIE *ghredh- (cf. Lithuanian gridiju "to go, wander," Old Church Slavonic gredo "to come," Old Irish in-greinn "he pursues," and second element in congress, progress, etc.).
Replaced Middle English gree "step, degree in a series," from Old French grei "step," from Latin gradus. Railway sense is from 1811. Meaning "class of things having the same quality or value" is from 1807; meaning "division of a school curriculum equivalent to one year" is from 1835; that of "letter-mark indicating assessment of a student's work" is from 1886 (earlier used of numerical grades). Grade A "top quality, fit for human consumption" (originally of milk) is from a U.S. system instituted in 1912.
A man ascends a degree, a step, a stage. He is a recognisable person to those who witness whatever happens to him. There is no mention of his death. All that is mentioned is that he blows his mind out in a car, having not noticed the lights had changed. At a crossing, an intersection, divergent paths. No death is mentioned, only an allusion to it. We are "suggested" through description there may have been death.
We are then reminded of death again, as the film plays of the war. The Military. A man makes the grade, something happens to him that leaves him recognisable to people, but unsure if he is from the House of Lords. A change of state or mind. Things unseen cause the event to occur. Lights. Intersections. Crossroads. Membership to the House of Lords was once a right of birth to hereditary peers. But has since been reformed. It still exists in the 92 members that are hereditary peers. But it only changed in 1958 after 200+ years of being hereditary peerage. Confusion whether this man was from the House of Lords by 1966 / 1967. A stranger in the midst.
I'll go back to it.

actually piders first jumped at this song as being a definitive proof of paul's death, voodoo.
but it was inspired by newspaper headlines and john's trip while driving.
i knew that for years, all the talk and 'evidence' of pid/pwr made me jump the wagon. the mob mentality. the conspiracy allure. forgive me. john blew his mind out in a car and turned it into one of the greatest songs ever.
why is nobody making comments on paul/faul uncanny likeness in 1963? and then in 1969? they have THE SAME FEET. The foot and ankle contain 26 bones (One-quarter of the bones in the human body are in the feet.); 33 joints; more than 100 muscles, tendons and ligaments and a network of blood vessels, nerves, skin, and soft tissue.
is the king really naked? (i mean the opposite of what tkin intended, i'm afraid...)
lay off the unknown, the occult and the impenetrable for a second and just look. the absence of comments on something tangible made me look again, anew.
has anybody ever asked themselves here were they also led by the mob mentality? or by the need to weave a tragedy out of a very common thing - growing up and messing up?
who does the thinking for you if nobody even questions anymore the first hypothesis of this myth - was paul replaced?
iamaphoney who makes skillfully edited hogwash? the universal nurse, hailing the coming of whatever imagined for the last couple of years? the supposed neil a c vermouth? rorschach solutions for album covers?
just for a second forget all of this.
and take a good look.
(linus, i'm not asking you any of these questions. just, goodbye. i never intended to be a preacher here.)

those boys loved playing with guns... shoot me, but i see a bunch of phallic allusions (not to mention ha penis being a warm gun)... “All our songs were anti-war.” - John Lennon See, more contradictions and mixed signals. Whoa, whoa, whoa, how did I not know the Latin name for walrus is Odobenus ROSMARUS divergens! With all the Lennon/White Album/Rosemary’s Baby syncs, this is huge. Odobenus means "walks on teeth", which is interesting because Paul chipped his left front tooth in the mid-60s. Just like Jim Carrey.McCartney's alleged moped accident was on 26th December, 1965 Lloyd Christmas The Rosmarus is Norse for 'horse of the sea'. Yoko means 'ocean child'. I'm picturing the child on the horse from the Sun card. (interesting that Tim Carey, from Kubrick’s “The Killing” is making a hidden kill on the Sgt. Pepper cover. In “The Killing” he shot a horse. Red Rum was the name of a famous racehorse. There is a crushed red VW Beetle in The Shining. Wendy Torrence and MDChapman both read Catcher in the Rye. "Lonely Hearts" - L =12, H=8. John died on 12/8 Jarv, the end of Carey's gun is behind Paul's heart. Though, he's looking through the scope for a longer shot.) and I don't think he was going for his pal Ringo Actors Jack Nicholson and Shelley Duvall out for drinks during the filming of The Shining. They’re joined by James Coburn, Ringo Starr, and singer Lynsey De Paul. Plus, the MMT album seen in A Clockwork Orange, and the unused 2001:ASO footage used in the MMT film. (MMT being released exactly 13 years to the day before Lennon's death.) Back to multi-pauls: I’m completely on board with the multiples camp. But what I don’t get is how multiple theorists decide which one is the ‘real one’ and which ones are the ‘doubles’. Or for that matter, ‘what faul looks like’ and ‘what Paul looks like’. (most people can’t come to an agreement, btw) And where are they finding these ‘doubles’ that look 98% similar to ‘the real ones’. Even down to the angle of the left eye. Like I said, researchers love to point out differences between pre-67 and post-66, but never use those same standards within each era. If you take all the PID side-by-side comparisons, and stack them up in a column, and instead of comparing right vs. left, objectively compare each subject in just the left column with one another, and then objectively compare only the subjects in the right column to each other… you will really blow your mind out in a car. My point is, how do we know which ones are ‘Paul’ and which ones are ‘Faul’. Is it possible they’re all Fauls? Pepper mentioned her teeth aren’t the same as they were 5 years ago, well is it normal for one’s molars to go from nicely-aligned to wonkily misaligned in one day, and then back again the next? It doesn’t take a dentist to find that highly odd. Make of that what one will. I suppose people can only be so objective, and see beyond the prescribed PID parameters, their idolizations, and what they want the answer to be so much. For all we know, maybe ‘the real Paul’ was too shy to go on stage etc. and used a double. Then something happened to the double and ‘the real Paul’ had to take over, say, in 1967. And this ‘Faul’ that everyone hates is actually ‘the real Paul’. Wouldn’t that be a hoot? I have this pet theory: Whatever the real answer to all this might be is, suppose those behind it all came out and announced the whole thing and revealed it all, how many people would actually believe it? I would wager a very slim percentage of the population would. I noticed that in the Greece photo and in the LIB photo, they also have the same widow’s peak. (Many, (but not all) PIDers say 'Faul' doesn't have a widow's peak). If that is a replacement, how the heck did they get him to look 98-99% like the one from 1963? Yeah, pepper, most of the real issues get avoided on the PWR/PID/PIA forums. It seems after 7 or 8 years, the physical research thing ran it's course after all the disagreements and bickering. Most people have made up their minds and just don't want to go there anymore. Too bad, I think there's some good unbiased stuff out there now from the newer generation of researchers. The Chariot card in Crowley’s Thoth deck features a crab atop the head of the rider, as the card is ruled by Cancer. Cancer can also be depicted with a scarab beetle. The two paths of the left pillar on the Tree of Life, are comprised of The Chariot and The Hanged Man. Is the PID motif supposed to make up the left pillar of The Beatles' tree? While the Hanged Man does not signify death, it can be interpreted as sacrifice. The significance of the card is that the subject is seeing things from a new perspective, note the glowing halo emanating from his mind. "The winged disc reminds him that his mind can allow him to soar above his emotions, to glimpse at life more objectively. His lesson is to combine his thoughts and feelings to arrive at a balanced view of life."The Charoit and Hanged Man cards, when combined to make up the left pillar, are essentially a man blowing his mind out in a car. Update: I never thought anyone was preaching, just sharing ideas. "Sorry that I doubted you, I was so unfair". I also find it odd that 'Neil's' correspondent calls him/her "Nell"Maybe it's Nell Carter! Apollo

Suppose those behind it all came out and announced the whole thing and revealed it all, how many people would actually believe it? Everyone would believe it. I had bet all my cache on you saying that. Lakshmi stands among the flowers in the dirt. Lakshmi is usually depicted standing in a lotus flower Tara Brown died in his Lotus. Also, in the song we're discussing, Paul sings "I dragged a comb across my head." If he is a replacement, don't you think he and his surgeons would've made sure to drag the comb across his head so that his hair parted on the left like 'the real Paul's'? (sometimes it parts on the right pre-67, not to mention in the middle or straight forward in most of '66, like he was transitioning it to part on the right). Either way he is telling us that his hair is parted the way it is with intention. If he's purposefully parting his hair on the right, then it would seem that they are deliberately playing on a PID theme, and possibly esoteric themes. On Revolver he sings about finding 'another kind of mind'. Of course, he is alone, taking a ride, in his chariot, blowing his mind. He also states that he'll never leave. But if he does, he knows the way.

I saw a film today oh, boy The english army had just won the war A crowd of people turned away But I just had to look Having read the book I'd love to turn you on.
Is the film about the war, or is Lennon's section telling you WHEN today is he saw the film. We think of the English Army winning a war. Well they won many. But our instant thought would be World War II. I saw a film today, sometime after the English Army had won the war. Sometime after 1945. There is nothing saying this film is about them winning a war. There is nothing saying it's not. It can be interpreted two ways.
The crowd of people witness to it turned away. Disinterest. The crowd so far twice in this song are distant, aloof. They're never sure what to make of what they see, or are not interested at all. But Lennon cannot help himself. Curiosity gets the better of him. He also has knowledge of the film from its novelised version. We of course don't know if the book came first, or the film. But he's read it nonetheless, and gone to see the film of it.
What book. What film. If the event occurs sometime after World War II, in Britain, well, it could be any film any book. It's just important we see the crowd show indifference, or confusion, or go into a state of shock at what they witness so far. It's a recurring theme. Lennon would love to turn you on. To tell you about it. Change your indifference, confusion, so you get it. So you become as curious. It could be drugs. It could not. It could be just transferring information or knowledge, so you become interested.
This part is Conscious. The former part was Unconscious. He wakes up from a dream, then goes back to a dream. The only making the grade this man does, is going upstairs on the bus. It is his only ascension. He owns no car. He has to work for a living just like everyone else, and he's late. It is "reality". Before was dream. The man blew his mind out in a car, though he was lucky as he made the grade. He had succeeded. His face was notable to the crowd, and they were unsure if he was from the House of Lords, which at one time was membership only by birthright until 1958. Is he from the House of Lords and privilege, or not? He blows his mind out in a car, not noticing lights had changed. Intersection. Crossroads. Decapitation? His brain comes out of his head from impact? He is on drugs while driving. What happens. Who speaks to the man who has to travel by public transportation and whose only ascension is up the stairs of the double decker bus. With only a cup of tea to keep him going, and inclined to dreaming of other things than the mundane.
Back to the unconscious.
I read the news today oh, boy Four thousand holes in blackburn, lancashire And though the holes were rather small They had to count them all Now they know how many holes it takes to fill the albert hall I'd love to turn you on
The Albert Hall. Empty spaces. Filling the empty spaces in a venue. A venue for performing artists. A seemingly unrelated event of holes found in Blackburn, small though they are, are related back to filling a concert hall. The seats are empty. There is no crowd anymore. It's the one verse that needs a crowd. Lennon would love to turn you on, and get you interested or pass on what he knows to get you interested.
A man of possible distinction has some event occur to him. The crowd are unsure if he is well known/famous/someone they should know. A film is shown, either about World War II, or shown taking place soon after, the crowd is disinterested and turn away, but not the dream narrator, because he has read the book. An ordinary man gets ready for work, he has no car, and he's late. His making the grade is only in going upstairs of the bus, which then just sends him back into dreamland. The next dream brings him to Albert Hall and filling the empty spaces holes would fill, as the crowd is no more.
I think the most important things that stand out are the reactions of the crowd, and their disappearance/absence in the last verse. The juxtaposition between the man with the car who made the grade, and the menial worker forced to take the bus, but ascends only when going to the top deck of it. Queries about the House of Lords, and whether Tara Browne was ever in "line" to be a member of the House of Lords by hereditary peerage. Queries about the film and the book. Queries about mention of the Military.

Back to multi-pauls: I’m completely on board with the multiples camp. Firstly, the mindset that searches for "The Real Paul" is the one that does not look for any difference in him before 1966. Before the "given" criteria that states he should be different. Let's say this is a maze, and you are a rat. The cheese is at the end. Here is your punishment and reward scenario. The Beatles are Good. They gave us Light, Hope, Rock and Roll during a sad time. They are not bad. They cannot be bad (at least not as bad as the Stones.) The SHOCK as you go down this maze is that possibly one of them died, in this instance James Paul McCartney, June 18th, 1942 - November 9th, 1966, or whatever date one can find probable. But we'll go by the standard clues found at the time when this story finally emerged in 1969. EVEN though there are allusions to it prior to 1965. He was then replaced. In either scenario the SHOCK of the story wants you to find another path down the maze that makes reason of the scenario, so that there is reconciliation with it. There must be justification for the SHOCK. Which leads you down those corridors of THE REPLACEMENT WAS BETTER THAN THE ORIGINAL HOW COULD THE FAMILY/FRIENDS/BUSINESS KEEP THIS DISCLOSED WITHOUT ANYONE COMING FORWARD IT WAS A MARKETING PLOY IT WAS A JOKE PAUL IS ALIVE Now the cheese has been found. It takes all those above reasons, and many more, and gets a nibble. No more shocks. It answers all the questions, and tells no lies. The maze is complete. Then these same people see evidence that there were TWO Paul McCartney's all along. And they see evidence of it BEFORE the given scenario/date/ estimated time of death. How does one reconcile this. One is the REAL Paul McCartney the other is the FAKE one. The Beatles are still intact, no one died, the chances are the REAL one is still alive out there, somewhere. Or had surgery. Or was hidden. This is wish fulfillment. This is the cheese at the end of the maze where things are still good, and no more shocks will happen that cause one pain or discomfort. He is John Halliday. He is Phil Ackrill. He is Neil Aspinall. He is Viv Stanshall. And just to watch these statues of could be's get erected along the maze is almost sad to watch at times. It's this hopeless, I can't reconcile what I see, but I cannot believe this can be BAD, or have other motives behind it. So the original HAD to go away, or was troubled, but not guilty of anything or playing along with this. It's cheese with a bitter aftertaste. The SHOCK of this story is that there were ALWAYS two Paul McCartneys. Two men playing him. So there is no "real" one, and no "fake" one. They are both fakes. And saying THAT'S the real Paul is a paradox of the highest degree. And The Beatles and powers that be told you this all along. It was always hinted at. And if you want evidence that people did NOT play along, then you follow that death trail that starts in September 1966. Because there is one that begins. And of the odds that says, if you knew Jack Ruby AFTER the JFK assassination, you better watch your back. And the same seems to happen if you KNEW Paul was TWO. It starts with Alma Cogan, and doesn't end there for a long time. Or does Jimmy McCulloch's death after leaving Wings on "acrimonious" terms, and then winding up dead, OPEN VERDICT, enough evidence stating he was murdered, and did NOT die of a heroin overdose, but of morphine poisoning. Or Lillian Roxon, and the scathing review she gave of the McCartney Special of 1973. Former Linda Eastman friend, and then dead 4 months after. Or Mal Evans, owner of that infamous diary. Or even Lennon. Or maybe even Harrison. Rory Storm. Brian Jones. Dr.Richard Asher. Joe Meek. Sharon Tate. Brian Epstein. David Jacobs. Joe Orton. Kevin MacDonald. Tara Browne. How many people needed to die until everyone who could possibly state, there have been two all along were gone? Would Jane Asher tell? Why would she? Her father may have been "in on it" being that advocate of Hypnotism he was, and being one who suddenly quits medicine when a psychiatrist is signed to his ward. Never to practice again. Dead by 1969. Rumours of supplying experimental drugs to street kids via law enforcement. John Lennon/George Harrison. Both busted for marijuana possession. One time each. Both surveilled by the FBI. Illegally. Paul McCartney busted 5 times for possession by 1984. Walks in and out of America with no problems. How much does it take for you to see that you don't get away with something, unless you're part of it. Lennon dead. Harrison dead. And Lennon alludes to Paul Is Dead in Skywriting by Word of Mouth, long after he's out of The Beatles, long after he's quit making music. He's got NO reason to do this whatsoever, yet he does it again. INTERNATIONAL TIMES. Actually forget the IT. This magazine is such a front for an esoteric/intelligence agenda it's boggling no one can see this. Or only some. They run the symbol of the ZODIAC KILLER repetitively in their 15th August 1969 issue, underneath an advert of WINGED CITREON 2CVS cars. 3 have wings, one doesn't. It comes CRASHING through the borders of the panel. Paul McCartney is not the great wizard that's going to sort out society, he's just one of them. Underneath the interview in January 1967, runs a comic strip about Clifton De Berry, and the plans to take over the Ultra House for societal change. Up pulls a Mystery Tour Bus. When did Paul get the idea for Magical? April 1967? Or was it January. Was it planned all along? How much do you need to see before you realise this is one of the greatest cons of this century? Osiris. Isis. Separis. Mithras. Christ. How much of a con is The Bible? A lot of it. Some of the canons are left out. Some are massively edited. It doesn't mean that Christ is a con. It's the maze again. And the Minotaur. The half man- half bull. We are still in Egypt. We are still Sun God. We are still Mithra/Mithras. I'm not sure what it's going to take to get people to wake up, or stop going down that maze, but I feel it's all too late. As soon as we start looking for John Hallidays, and "The Real Paul" we're already down in the dead ends. And happy to stay there it seems. As long as we don't get shocked again. Sorry for the rant. The days are growing few. It ain't apocalypse I'm worried about. It's simply me and you.

Good points VG, though I wonder if there were 2 or more Pauls, why would it stop there? Is there really only 1 John, George or Ringo?“You’re getting closer, my salamander” – Getting Closer by WingsAtlanta Fugiens emblem 29 - As the Salamander lives in fire, so also the Stone. I’m glad VG brought up the conscious/subconscious elements of “A Day in the Life”. It seems as though the structural theme to that song is of an alchemical marriage. The essence of Alchemy being the marriage of male & female energies, the sun & the moon, the conscious and the subconscious - which is essentially Ra (sun god) merging with Osiris (god of the underworld) in the Duat “every night at midnight” – You Never Call Me Back by Wings. In "A Day in the Life", the musicians and the listener go from the real world of the atrocious and the mundane, to the dreamy world of the subconscious, then back again. Then ascend to the void at the end. The first 12 songs of the album exist in a fantasy land, only the final track exists in the reality. Which is interesting in how it mirrors Revolver, in that the first 13 tracks deal with death, taxes, romance, insecurity, and betrayal, and the final track transcends it all by surrendering to the void. In The Cavern of Sokar/Seker, he is in the Alchemical furnace on The Lake of Fire, spreading the Wings of the serpent, between the double-headed Aker sphinx. This particular sequence is used in many ceremonies. But with the last being the X, which they replaced with the Earth Sign. Paul is making the L sign, which is the L in LVX, or latin for LUX, as in light. Thelemic ritual magick. The following sets of signs were assigned by Aleister Crowley to the various Grades of his order, the A.'.A.'.. The first sets (the Neophyte, elemental grade signs and L.V.X. signs) were derived from the grade signs of the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn. Such signs often have multiple uses and meanings, depending on the context. Step Three: The Death-Rebirth Cycle These three letters also are Qabalistically and visually/formally linked to the principle dynamic structure of all Western Mysticism, that of the Death-Rebirth Cycle. so what if paul was using a double occasionally, on his own accord, especially in '67 and '68 when he was maybe too messed up to get off the floor? and a fake moustache was a private joke. In Dark Knight Rises he plays the role of Foley, a Deputy Commissioner that wants to kill Batman. He also plays a class clown in Gross Anatomy.
