In the Free As A bird video on Anthology 4 in the car crash scene, right after the bird passes from right to left past the police officers, it you can see a face in the front seat that kind of looks like Paul. It's at 1:17:05. I couldn't capture a single frame that wasn't blurry. But during regular motion, it looks like Paul. Here is a single frame. Sorry if this has been discussed or if I'm just seeing things.  |

I'm on a Mac. Unfortunately Apple has made it so you can't take screen captures from their DVD player. I have to use a program called VLC for DVD captures, and you can't go one frame at a time on that.

Interesting, I made a gif. Kahn, you should do what I did, and get yourself a cheapo Windows box for stuff like this..  My observations, the person in the car is alive, (he turns his head) and seems to be (although it's hard to be 100% sure) in the passenger seat. There was some discussion about what make of car this is once, can't remember, but wasn't the consensus that this wasn't one that Paul owned/drove? Don't know what to say about whether it's a Paul image or not, looks like the bearded version of George, but of course it's not real clear. |

My observations, the person in the car is alive, (he turns his head) and seems to be (although it's hard to be 100% sure) in the passenger seat. In the UK, cars have the steering wheel on the right side. |

Good find Khan. Don't know what to say about whether it's a Paul image or not, looks like the bearded version of George, but of course it's not real clear. Looks to me like it could be Paul...maybe with some beard growth...which could have occurred if he was in the car for several days.... |

Thanks for making the gif JoJo. After seeing it in a loop, I guess it's too blurry to really make out the face. After one too many beers last night I guess my mind was playing tricks on me, ;D. Still kind of creepy though.

Does anyone know what tape the FAAB video is on the Anthology? I have the VHS version and it isn't on tape 4.

Probably tape 8? Assuming there are 8 tapes, rather than two episodes per disk, as in the DVD version.

The bearded man could very well be that of Paul, not having access to razors, as to one who was stranded somewhere.

I can't really see a "paul" as such, i'm not even sure I can see a face yet, but I was like that with the other "paul corpse" in FAAB for a while.
They always say, you can miss a subliminal message 100 times, but as soon as you see it once, you you see it every time thereon.

I thought they didn't find his body until the 28th.
Now there is a common myth that after a person dies, their hair and nails continue to grow. But I heard that the body starts to shrink and the hair appears to have grown. Perhaps facial hair is that way, giving it a walrus look...something strange has to have occured with time between the death and the recovery of the body.

What kind of car is that in "Free as a Bird"? Is it an Aston Martin? www.youtube.com/watch?v=0D196-oXw2k (2:28) Is there a picture of the crash scene online somewhere? I have an image of a crash scene that purports to be "the crash scene" that i just grabbed off of a video. It's a light colored sports car, but I can't tell what kind. Does anyone know what color Paul's car was? The cars look pretty similar... |
