It says in the OP the Beatles never wrote autobiographies... I thought George did, "I Me Mine" - ?

- Huxley’s Halo
I Me Mine is hardly an autobiography, it’s a collection of songs and stuff George wanted to have remembered, plus some scattered dialogue of his on diverse topics, recorded.
The above picture from front cover of 'Chaos and creation in the Backyard' album, 2005’ is of Paul according to Mike McGear, in his book Remember:
He was 14. So I guess we have to believe that.

RAT SUBTERRANEAN NEWS a bi-weekly New York womens lib hippy mag, no copies in English libraries. That article is surely for 1969, October was the peak of the PID-mania sweeping America in October. So they wanted an article on it.

This one's for Bishop, as he has done an in-depth study of all the Freemasons on the Sgt Pepper cover THE DAY AFTER, 12TH SEPTEMBER 1966

None of the Beatles wrote autobiographies Technically, yes, this is true-- but not entirely! "Many Years From Now" was written by Barry Miles, so it is technically a biography, rather than an autobiography. However, it was written with the help of Paul, and the book reads somewhat like a very long interview with the man about his own life. Excellent book, by the way... even if it comes across a little one-sided at times. Read alongside a possibly slightly-less-biased work like "You Never Give Me Your Money," I think a lot of insight can be had on the careers of The Beatles.

Hi iameye-
I've followed your posts for literally, years now. I've grown accustomed to your unique style of posting and your witty, sometimes funny sometimes frustrating way of bandy-ing back and forth, always getting more oblique as you go forward. I guess in the long run I like your posts because they make one think which is a good thing. Regarding this last post, what is it in iwilliams' post that would make you re-post it ? I haven't read the Mile's book and probably won't be any time soon. Can you elaborate please ? Translucently rather than in your usual opaque style ? Thanks i.

Well, one might possibly focus on the thought 'None of the 'actual' Beatles wrote autobiographies'.
or 'written with the help of Paul filling in a blank (or maybe even two) for our friend William.'
or...?

Why does he show videos of a nurse ? To tease us with the theory of a nurse who supposedly did/was/is speaking up that she was there when JPM was brought in to wherever he was brought in to when he had his mishap that may/may not of taken his life ?

Fab additions to the PID music canon, which is the only aspect of PID that's worth saving. After quite a break from it now, I'm gratified that I can't remember most of the recent years' PID Uberguff, some (and only some) of which has graced this board. But musical items? The goofier or weirder the better!

I don't get the controversy, Billy and Paul just don't look that much alike, period.
