I knew about Hand and Sie liebt dich (she loves you) and that's all I'm aware of. Maybe there's more. Who knows. Thanks Ramone. I found out about She Love You after I wrote my post. I also found out that the Beatles were not the only artists to record in German. Apparently, Johnny Cash recorded a German version of Walk the Line. Why GERMAN with these artists? And does anyone know whether the Beatles recorded in any other languages besides German and English (with the exception of parts of Michelle)? So far, I've found no reference to The Beatles recording in any languages except German and English. Paul Mccartney speaks in Russianwww.youtube.com/watch?v=EmUYrF28dsEVladislav Kulakov Nov 12, 2007

Bumping this because light colored sweater Paul very clearly shows a weak jaw line from left profile, with a rather receded as opposed to a protruding chin. Our Beatlemania guy from the Help and Ticket to Ride videos, widely available on YouTube, shows a strong jaw line, left profile. Couldn't be the same guy. Saw a YouTube video where someone hypothesizes that light colored sweater Paul is our caretaker guy, John Halliday. Apparently, the channel owner came to this conclusion by comparing Halliday's left profile chin and jaw line to light colored sweater Paul. Nah, I didn't see a match. But I do think that Halliday was in the Paul mix at some point in a limited capacity. Halliday has been confusing for me, too. Those Beatlemania era wigs/cuts sure did well to hide the ears. I agree he was in the mix at some point, too, but haven’t found a match — haven’t dedicated to looking for a match, either, but…Those very low set ears he has are problematic & I do think he looks as though he had some type of facial reconstruction following an accident. This channel owner did a pretty good metamorphosis of the Rain/Paperback Writer Paul into Mr. Caretaker. If Halliday was ever a significant element in the Paul Beatlemania mix, he may well have been Paperback Writer guy. Looking at the left ear, it is clearly higher set and shorter in Paperback Writer, then becomes lower set on Halliday. Halliday's lower set ear could be a small attachment, to make the ear appear lower and longer than it is. We know these techniques were employed to change the shape of the ears as there is a Paul from the 1980s I believe photographed with Linda where there is clearly a small ear attachment piece that has fallen off. Everyone has seen that photo. We all know the one I am referring to. www.youtube.com/watch?v=GXmcmzF_3Fk

In The Bad Old Days, I knew a guy called Bobby Blackout who'd been smashed by a bus and they'd cobbled his face back together with metal plates and whatnot. There was sort of an uncanny valley effect and creases in places you wouldn't expect them, but you couldn't see the scars unless you really looked closely -- which you didn't want to do because of the uncanny valley effect. All that said, I'm not sure why anyone would feel the need to sew John's ears back on lower. That doesn't really make much sense to me and, compared to the ears on various Pauls and Ringos, his look pretty natural.

That doesn't really make much sense to me and, compared to the ears on various Pauls and Ringos, his look pretty natural. His ears looked natural to me too, till I started looking closely at the linked video. At about 54 seconds, a left profile shot. I don't think his ears were sewn on lower, I'm just wondering if I'm looking at a small extension attachment on the bottom of the lobe that partially covers the natural lobe but extends it. The possible prosthetic attaching to the natural lobe, then to the head. Thus, making the entire ear look longer and lower set when the attachment is in place. Hey, I just know all the tricks I use with extension pieces to make my hair look very long to shoulder length, wavy, curlier, whatever I want on any given day. Part of what people see is my natural hair, some of it isn't. If I can do it so easily with hair, it makes me curious about other types of prosthetics that people could use, changing their appearance from one day to the next. Why ears? As we've all discussed before, ears, teeth, and fingerprints are typical bio-markers to identify individuals. Also Rain/Paperback Writer Paul is a true enigma to me. He is so readily distinguishable from the rest of the lot. No way I'm jumping to any conclusions that he is Halliday, but still can't shake the feeling that Halliday was indeed in the mix at some point. At first I thought Halliday was simply put out there for public consumption as a PID red herring. Now I'm not so sure. Evolution of thought. Trying hard to consider all possibilities. www.youtube.com/watch?v=pTmecacQVfs
