Does anybody have or know of a location where I could obtain a higher def copy of this 1968 meeting between "Paul" & Dick James? I'm specifically interested in seeing the damage to "Paul's" nose more clearly.

This square chinned Ringo's right hand sure looks more like a metal claw prosthetic than a human hand to me. And his left hand doesn't exactly conform to the species norm, either.
"…I was put in a cot, so I got very good at picking things up with my feet: pennies, bits of paper, anything that fell out of the cot. When I'd been in the hospital about six months, I was really getting better and could have come home in a couple of weeks. I'd got a little toy bus for my birthday. The cot had sides on, and the kid in the next bed wanted to see the bus so I leaned over to get it. It was about four feet off the ground and I leaned too far, fell right out and ripped open all the surgery scars. That was a dangerous time. They kept me in for another six months for that.…" - Ringo's Story, The Beatles Anthology

I'm confused why there is so much discussion about the other Beatles and their hands now. They were too old to be Thalidamide babies...and what would the odds be of the other band members (musicians) having gnarly or missing or partial fingers. It seems to be a case of putting an idea in one's head and seeing it because they want too. It's not a stretch that they may have had street doubles to distract fans, but the odds they are deformed is very low.
That picture of Ringo and the milk bottles was a trip to Liverpool to Paul's fathers house on Forthlin Rd. Why would a double be there at all. It was early, and the fans weren't too feverish yet. Probably 62 or 63. His left hand is holding two bottles.....holding one with his thumb and fore finger and the other is grasped with his other three finger.
If you want to look for something that is very obvious, check out Paul's feet. I think Linda had photo ops with several doubles. There's a picture of the two of them on the porch and Paul (possibly William Shepherd) clearly has six toes.
Are you sure you mean Neil Aspinal? Phil Ackrill has been the favorite in a lot of PID groups to have stepped in Paul's place. Neil Aspinal was also from Liverpool and started off as their roadie. He also fathered a child with Pete Best's mother. He went on an made a career with the Beatles and being part of the upper crust in Apple. Neil was a handsome young man and some have claimed that he stood in as a street Paul at times. He did not age well....his nose was much large, zero hair on top that emphasized a sort of neanderthal shaped forehead and brow. Neil Aspinal did not have any musical talent.
Phil Ackrill is the session musician the played with Denny Laine and the Diplomats.
I'm sure most of the readers here know that Denny Laine helped Paul and Linda for "Wings"...and Denny and Paul McCartney both knew Phil Ackrill. This confusion is rarely corrected because I'm sure it serves someones purpose.
I'm making a point of this because there are many erroneous references to Neil becoming Paul. Neil only died a few years ago. Phil Ackrill seems to have disappeared off the face of the earth around '63. I've tried to find him in UK records, but there is nothing. He was supposedly from Birmingham, but there were not records of him there either.
Note from JoJo: the long link to Google Image Search was causing B's browser to jump straight to the Google link away from page 5 of this thread. Don't know why and it may very well be just for him or it may also affect others. I replaced it with a link that the Google image search was referencing.
Wow! That's like the exact same hand situation. How on earth did you find that?
This is not on topic, but worth a mention. If you look in the distance between the girl and boy to the right, you can see a spiral tower. THAT is what a Helter Skelter looks like. It's like a spiral super slide and are usually at amusement parks or carnival rides. Most people in the US are not familiar with that term from the UK. It became infamous after Charles Manson and the Tate murders a year after the Beatles wrote the song of the same name and released the White Album. "Helter Skelter" was written in blood on the wall with Sharon Tate's blood. Charles Manson had met Paul McCartney a year or more before the song came out. He was an aquaintance of Brian Wilson of the Beach Boys. He was convinced the Beatles were sending him messages through their music. I'm sure most on this forum know this story....but I often forget the Beatles and Paul McCartney have many younger fans. I was in Junior High when that happened and it was probably the worst mass murder I had ever heard of at that age. It was especially horrible because we had lived in Hollywood earlier in my life. All of a sudden my world seemed very small.

1) You don't seem to have understood the sentence I wrote at all.
2) As has been stated and shown ad nauseam, there is absolutely zero match between the immutable facial characteristics of Ackrill and Sir Billy (the current tallish, arrogant, hooked nosed Paul).
You're confused about this because you clearly either didn't bother reading the information in this thread or failed to understand it. I don't know what's confusing about extensively documented Nazi development of the drug that became Thalidomide.

False. &, also, false.

when you're right you're right - and, you're right. kaleidoscope's theory is missing a thumb

Don't start with me, dude. And FYI all the Pauls had thumbs, it's the other fingers that are missing in varying assortments.

1968 - London - Some interesting Mad Day Out and Grapefruit promo film shoot images of 'Paul' with fake nose and with & without facial prosthetics to hide what looks to me like a Glasgow Smile. I'll show you earlier images of the same 'Paul' with the horizontal scars across his cheeks.
Edit: Who does that grinning musician in the shades & black wig look like to you?.....

The picture captioned "who the fuck is that?" is the real Beatles.
I got a bit confused by your last post because I didn't instantly realise that you'd enlarged the hands, lol. I thought it was the punchline to a long-running gag of tampered-with hand images.
The Epstein pic looks creepy enough on its own. The picture on the wall is of the real Beatles shortly before they disappeared, and the gramophone looks like an open casket. Funereal is putting it lightly.

The George in the mirror pic, though, shows up through, at least, 1963. I haven't put as much effort into tracing Johns/Ringos/Georges as Pauls, but I have a few of the more obvious bad doppels mapped out. Also, I suspect, but won't swear on the Simian/Mask Paul being the Who Fuck Is That mirror Paul based on the nose.

Something disproportionate about the Pauls' hands, you say?
Something inconsistent, incongruous…absent in part and sometimes entirely?
Never noticed anything like that…

Brian's missing fingertips look nearly identical to the missing fingertips of the John I posted with him. Why?

Sorry, which pic are you referring to here? There are a couple of 'Beatles near or on walls' shots & I can't find the gramophone you see. If you mean the mirror pic: there are several very interesting Dezo mirror pix wherein the guys standing in front of the mirrors are completely not the guys reflected back in the mirrors.
