I work on the assumption that everyone who interviewed a Beatle or a Featle is a military intelligence asset. Their methods of interrogation always leave room for a mockingly sarcastic reply though, such is their brief.

I don't think most small town newscasters on the same level as CIA war embed Anderson Cooper. The other thing is that a lot of people are assets without knowing they're assets. I really like Cavett's interviews and hesitate to learn more about him.

Can't see your posted image B ------------------------------ Another Odd Paul (…with 3 fingers on his right hand…): '63: '69ish: Zoom in, if you can, on the collar of the '63 Paul. What the fuck is going on there? It's retouched, obviously, but there are both shadows of objects not present and, either, extremely badly blurred out *something*…or, for timmyb52 , blurs created to imply objects which were never present. I can't find another Paul in that batch (1963 - 09.12 - UK, ENG, London, EMI Studios on Abbey Road) with the lumpy, smashed, sideways nose or cheek lump. Thoughts? EDIT: Here he is again -

Ha. I can see it on a different machine. "Paul" said he asked Willie Nelson if he ever thought about retiring and Willie said, "Retire from what?" I abandoned Imgur after it kept unsorting the Ears gallery and also they are trying to kill galleries/albums entirely and turn it into a social media meme-and-response site.…blah, blah, chain of events…So, I've been using newtumbl as a host to stash images to share here, and the like. It's not organized as an actual gallery to peruse.

I mean the weird gap between what is ostensibly Linda's forefinger and "2nd finger"-? Did she donate a finger to a Paul? Did she have lobster claws, too?

Just noticed this: If you zoom in & look closely you can see that this Faul's hand is heavily retouched with what appears to be someone else's fingers copy/pasted in right at the knuckles and one of his own fingers (extended upright along the line of his lips/cheek) blurred and stamped out to match the curtain. Both Featles are wearing fake ears. This Fohn has the mole on his left cheek, just below his sideburn.

EDIT : The problem does not seem to be one of hotlinking. Rather, on many of the images, newtumbl has changed the hosting server from prefix dn0 to dn1, or dn1 to dn2, etc. Simply swapping this out resolves many of the missing images. In other cases, however, it does not, even when the prefix has been changed and I don't know why. I think I've restored all but the JoJo's place images/clips in this thread that were gobbled by digital rot. If I've missed something, let me know. And I'm sure there are many pix in other threads that have been subject to the same issue. If you come across something missing that I posted that you'd like to see, just give me a nudge. And, again, though poorly tagged, the great majority of all of those pix are here kaleidoquake.newtumbl.com and here imgur.com/a/blHUHZVEDIT #96 : I feel like I'm in a Black Mirror episode. pic URLs that I've changed from dn0 to dn1, which were appearing after the change, are now showing the default newtumbl missing image again. If I change them, again, to dn2, they reappear…but for how long?

This sucks !
kaleidoquake's work in researching then posting the above photos is lost in space, for me at least. I just cannot seem to get anywhere with the newtumbl; I've tried right clicking and opening in a new tab = nothing, and have tried registering with newtumbl and still can't get any pics to come up. Any help would be appreciated--I hate seeing new research getting buried somewhere that I can't locate.

If you change your user setting for "comfort zone" ratings to X, can you see stuff? And, here, what are your options when you right click on any the missing images? Do you get an option to 'copy image address'?

I don't know where to find 'user setting' on my computer.
When I right click on the images that aren't showing up I get a few options, in this order:
View Image Copy Image Copy Image Location
Save Image As... Email Image... Set As Desktop Background... View Image Info
Inspect Element (Q) When I click any of them none of these help me see the pics that you've posted.
When I go to newtumbl.com (I registered last night) I still can't get any pics to show. It also tells me that there are no posts.
If you're able to help me I'd be grateful. All the work that you've done as of late is bringing light on things that nobody else has noticed, or at least nobody has posted anything about all these weird visuals.
It's great when someone new (I'm assuming you're fairly new because unless you've changed your name on the forum, I haven't seen your posts in the past---at least not since I've been on the forum) posts their well researched findings, so thank you k.

Hey bandi, I think I was able to copy all the missing newtumbl images/vids to imgur and replace the newtumbl links. There was some weird stuff going on. If you come across some images that are still missing, please, let me know & I'll try to get them properly linked to some host other than newtumbl. It's, hopefully, moot now, but if you had chosen 'copy image location' and pasted that into the URLbar of a new tab, the image would have most likely downloaded to your computer. That's what it was doing for me. But I admit I didn't futz around with a bunch of different browsers to check for consistency. And, yes, I'm fairly new (2 years-ish) to this whole thing. I had run across the Italian PID site many, many years ago and had dismissed the idea out of hand. Although, even then I found the height and skull differences between what were purported to be different Pauls photographed with Jane Asher perplexing. Re-encountering the theory more recently, amidst circumstances I desperately wanted to procrastinate and faced with this amazing rabbit hole of material that all of you guys and so many others had amassed over the years, I took the bait, as it were. I'm a bit ticked off that someone bumping into the theory today doesn't have JoJos to pore over nor The Beatles Never Existed to provide a strong and visually documented alternate theory. As far as I can tell, I am the first to have noticed the hand oddities or maybe just the first to have made such a big fuss about them. And while I do think these bodily irregularities provide clues to the cause for the swaps, even those who don't agree can still use missing fingers etc. to help identify different Pauls. It's all fascinating and weird and full of endless questions to ask. Again, please, do let me know if you run into more missing images. I've been considering how to share my full trove online for a while now, but got sidetracked back into other things for a bit.

In the study of missing fingers I came across this; Yubitsume Yubitsume (指詰め, "finger shortening") is a Japanese ritual to atone for offenses to another, a way to be punished or to show sincere apology and remorse to another, by means of amputating portions of one's own little finger. In modern times, it is primarily performed by the yakuza, one of the most prominent Japanese criminal organizations. The act of committing yubitsume is also referred to as yubi o tobasu (指を飛ばす), meaning "finger flying" ("he made his finger fly"). Origin The ritual is thought to have originated with the bakuto, itinerant gamblers who were predecessors of the modern yakuza.[1] If a person was unable to pay off a gambling debt, yubitsume was sometimes considered an alternative form of repayment.[1] In Japanese swordsmanship, or Kendo, the little finger's grip is the tightest on the hilt. A little finger-amputee was therefore unable to grip his sword properly, weakening him in battle and making him more dependent on the protection of his boss.[1] Ritual To perform yubitsume, one lays down a small clean cloth and lays the hand onto the cloth facing down. Using an extremely sharp knife, or tantō, the person cuts off the portion of his left little finger above the top knuckle on the finger or the tip of the finger. He then wraps the severed portion in the cloth and submits the "package" very graciously to his oyabun ("godfather" or boss), who is also referred to as a kumicho (gang-leader). If more offenses are committed, then the person moves on to the next joint of the finger to perform yubitsume. More infractions could mean removing portions of the right little finger when no more joints of the left finger remain. In some cases, a person expelled from a yakuza gang might be required to perform the yubitsume ritual. The finger of the yakuza directly responsible for an offense is called an iki yubi, "living finger", while the finger of the yakuza that is directly in charge of him is called a shinu yubi, "dead finger". en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/YubitsumeInteresting if you ask me!

Serendipitous coincidence or not, shortly before this thread was posted, I had started to seriously think it was high time someone looked at their fingers and see whether there really were some abnormalities. I e x p e c t e d them to be there. I just knew the chances of finding specific abnormalities were big. Don't ask me how I knew this, I am not another castle keep. I'm just a postern trying to radiate some light upon ye olde gatehouses where there are multiple traps and obstacles for intruders to be foiled.
And in spite of all that, this Paul's handsomeness remained as impressive as it had always been.
