not a Beatles song, but good for a discussion to follow
On the "Tree of Life" in the Kabala (shown below), the top spot is called 'the Crown of Creation'
It reperesents the highest source of life, and where God sits
the bottom circle represents where Earth physical reality is.

----------
You are the crown of creation
You are the crown of creation
And you've got no place to go
Soon you'll attain the stability you strive for
In the only way that it's granted:
In a place among the fossils of our time
In loyalty to their kind
They cannot tolerate our minds
In loyalty to our kind
We cannot tolerate their obstruction!
Life is change
How it differs from the rocks
I've seen their ways too often for my liking
New worlds to gain
My life is to survive
And be alive for you
Aah ah ah ah...
-------------
The energy of life flows from the highest realm (the crown) and down through the levels of reality, and ultimately
manifests at the bottom level (physical reality). This flow of energy through the 'tree of life' is sometimes depicted as
a bolt of lightning, indicating the course it takes.
In some respects the energy path of the lightning bolt as it moves through the tree of life resembles the appearance of a Helter Skelter slide, so these lyrics:
When I get to the bottom, I go back to the top of the slide
Where I stop, and I turn, and I go for a ride
'Til I get to the bottom, and I see you again!
Yeah, yeah, yeah!
may be a description of the flow of energy of life from God to you, as shown in the tree of life diagram.
Then the energy of 'God' asks:
Well, do you, don't you want me to love you?
I'm coming down fast, but I'm miles above you (in many planes of reality above that of the earth physical reality)
Tell me, tell me, tell me, come on, tell me the answer!
Well, you may be a lover, but you ain't no dancer
So the energy from God that enlivens you, asks for you to dance with it, and not be oblivious to it.
In the Jefferson Airplane song, the earth-level of life is described as essentially fossilized and lifeless; a place in the past like a fossil in a rock.
In the Beatles song "Strawberry Fields", the line "No one else is in my tree" could be an allusion to the Tree of Life of the Kabala.
It's also possibly why the lyrics say, "Let me take you DOWN where I'm going to".
The "Crown of Creation" is the top circle; the bottom circle is Earth's physical reality
The Jefferson Airplane song tells you that you are the energy that flows from the highest realms, even if you aren't aware of it.
