41/100
Currently the worst in this forum but I am sure this is brilliant compared to most people of my age.

I don't know all of these singers/bands, even though I try to listen to lot's of classic rock artists on internet radio. So I scored... 79/100 Not too bad. I guess. ;D

Wow! You're good, JoJo! yes he is a good jojo mojojoejoe You love life there Mikey, doncha? (that's a good thing) Anyway, question 14 threw me, I knew the tune, but didn't know it was named "Tush". Now, how many knew Paul played lead guitar on Taxman? (counter intuitive)

I got tush right. I also got paul right ( second time 'round) I got the same score both times. And it wasn't cause I answered them exactly the same way! Space case.

You scored 54/100 points Good, but you should dust off some of those old CDs.
Truth is I'm actually sick to death of ALL my music.. I've been searching desperately for new bands and stuff >_<

The "Hendrix chord" that would actually be a 7 sharp 9 (dominant 7). A flat nine would give you a chord much more commonly used in Jazz, specifically part of a turnaround when playing in a minor key. (although you can also transition from the sharp 9 into the flat 9 while performing the turnaround)

I've been searching desperately for new bands and stuff >_< I scored a 60.... not bad for a guy who's avoided most "normal" music! Well, mellow... I've got the opposite problem..... so many good new cd's & so little time to enjoy them. Recent release points of interest... Dread Zeppelin - Bar Coda maybe their best cd yet Cat Power - Jukebox ..definantly her best work yet... while yer at it get The Greatest also. The Fiery Furnaces - Widow City ..great cd... not quite as wacky as the last cd... this one's more of an offbeat rock cd. Messer Chups - Zombie Shopping - Russian instrumental surf music with lots of cheesy B-movie-horror classics snippets. Everything by The Olivia Tremor Control... heavy late Beatles influence... these guys are just as impressed with Rev#9 as they are I Am The walrus. Twink - The Broken Record.... this masterpiece is made up entirely of samples from scratchy kiddie records.... amazin'! Bryan Ferry - Dylanesque ... all Dylan covers & one of his best solo efforts NIN - Year Zero... wow back to full form Rob Zombie Live - pretty much what I expected.... excellent for crankin' up loud. Sparks - Hello Young Lovers... their best since 75. A new one is due soon. A Rainbow Over The Freeway... the Sparks tribute cd featuring Jello Biafra, Renaldo Malpractice & yers truly. One of the best tribute cd's ever produced. Research - Research.... you don't think I'm gonna leave without a little shameless self promotion do ya? This is only recent "rock" releases..... I could go on with the "classic" stuff & the avant-garde stuff I've bought recently. Now if I only had time to enjoy it all...................... ;D

A quick classic or 2 that I've added.
Johnny Winter - Second Winter... not much of a JW fan but this album is amazin''' It's really grown on me even more since I recently got the remastered reissue.. What a great rock/blues album. Jeff Beck - Truth ... late 60's blues band with Rod Stewart doin' vocals. Now THIS is the good Rod Stewart! Forever More - Words On Black Plastic. & Yours .. most folks overlooked this 1970-71 greatness. The core went on to become The Average White Band... FM is a gazzillion times better. The Kinks - The Pye records box.. 10 CD's ... their 1st 9 albums + a live album. Wow... Now THIS is the Kinks to get. The album "Kinda Kinks" probably my fave. Just got the new Rolling Stone & there's a nice piece on Ray Davies. Joe Byrd & The Field Hippies - "The American Metaphysical Circus" ....whhoa...tracers....I must be trippin'! A great "hippie record" finally on cd!!

Well... anyway... everybody's tastes are different or course, but every time I hear somebody say anything to the effect of "there's just not any good music to buy"... I either have to jump in or bite my tongue. I forgot a few recent purchases in the 1st post...latest Skinny Puppy 5 stars..... latest Ministry 4 stars..... new John Cale Live 5 stars+.... the latest Residents cd 4 stars .... the latest Pere Ubu 5 stars. .....In other words... I've got lots of suggestions for ya. All these are only the cd's I bought in the last month or so

sweet! 93/100! You are a Master! You're either an old man or a serious throwback! well, both the old and man parts are incorrect. but serious throwback? they say it like it's a bad thing
