I surprised myself ! I can with my right hand but not my left hand ~ Same here. I'm surprised I cannot with my left as I consider it fairly strong from years of playing the guitar. Also, I can do the Brazilian finger snap. Oddly enough, it was trendy with my group of friends when I was in high school...I had no idea that it had ties in Brazil! Also, it really is killer on the fingers after a while. I don't recommend anyone take it up...

You leave yourself wide open, my friend. He does and so do we all here at NIR. This way the bars can't keep us OUT. Incidentally, I found it easy to do the finger thing either hand instantly but I can not do the Brazilian snap. As a pianist, we work to master controlling the isolation of our fingers. Snapping is hard for me period.

I can't even tell what that snapping thing is, but it looks like it would dislocate my precious wrists.

Wasn't there a TV show about this called "V", where only the aliens among us could do it? en.wikipedia.org/wiki/V_%28TV_series%29"V: The Series is a one-hour weekly television series based on American producer and director Kenneth Johnson's science fiction franchise concerning aliens known as "The Visitors" trying to take over Earth. It aired in the United States on NBC during the 1984–85 TV season. Plot summary: Shortly after her ship's capture by the Resistance, Diana escapes in a shuttle but is pursued by Donovan. The two engage in combat in the atmosphere, and Donovan successfully shoots her down and, after a short fight, captures her. One year after the day when the Red Dust was deployed, now the international holiday called "Liberation Day", the former members of the Resistance and their Fifth Column allies have gone their separate ways and are each looking forward to prosperous careers and bright futures. When Diana is finally put on trial for the atrocities she committed during the First Invasion, Science Frontiers, the company responsible for mass production of the Red Dust, at the behest of its CEO Nathan Bates, arranged for Ham Tyler and his security firm to publicly "assassinate" Diana on her way to the trial and (then) take her to a secret cabin in the woods outside L.A. After this is done, Nathan offers Diana better accommodations in exchange for helping to solving problems such as disease and environmental failure on Earth by providing Visitor technological information. All Brazilians can do that, it's like they are almost born knowing how. More than one has tried to teach me, but to laughable (on their part) results.
Basically it means "hurry up".
