Everybody's Been Replaced To the tune of Bob Dylan's Rainy Day Women #12 & 35Well, they'll replace ya when you're trying to be so good, They'll replace ya just a-like they said they would. They'll replace ya when you're tryin' to go home. Then they'll replace ya when you're there all alone. But I would not feel too much disgrace, Everybody's been replaced.
Well, they'll replace ya when you're walkin' 'long the street. They'll replace ya when you're tryin' to keep your seat. They'll replace ya when you're walkin' on the floor. They'll replace ya when you're walkin' to the door. But I would not feel a loss of face, Everybody's been replaced.
They'll replace ya when you're at the breakfast table. They'll replace ya when you are young and able. They'll replace ya when you're tryin' to make a buck. They'll replace ya and then they'll say, "good luck." Tell ya what, I would not feel all that debased, Everybody's been replaced.
Well, they'll replace you and say that it's the end. Then they'll replace you and then they'll come back again. They'll replace you when you're riding in your car. They'll replace you when you're playing your guitar. Yes, but I would not feel so lost in space, Everybody's been replaced.
Well, they'll replace you when you walk all alone. They'll replace you when you are walking home. They'll replace you and then say you are brave. [My Brave Face?] They'll replace you when you are set down in your grave. I guess it's really common place, Everybody's been replaced. Don't get me wrong. I know Paul was replaced and probably some other celebs as well. Just poking fun.

I'm not totally familiar with the original song, but I like this and I think that you did a great job with this parody. Btw, it's nice to read somebody else's parody for a change.

Thanks, Miss Vaggie. I kept most of the lyrics the same so it wasn't a lot of work. The Dylan song is better known by the chorus "Everybody must get stoned". Probably before your time.

I've heard that song on internet radio. And it is way before my time, that's for sure. I still think Bob Dylan's cool, though.

Well done! I remember Dylan, my oldest brother was into him in the 60's.
When they "everybody must get stoned"...on drugs..not literally stoned.....Then you've got another ball of wax going on there.
