When I first came to this forum, it was interesting and filled with new insights as to the replacing of JPM and the man who assumed the role of JPM, Sir Faul. The ideas were fresh and informative. But as of late, it's been filled with alot of strange ideas of what happened to JPM, most recently being part of the French Foreign Legion, and the focus on everybody famous that was supposedly replaced, which has nothing to do with the Beatles' story. When some things that were brought up were shot down or ignored as possibilities, or further researched by another member, or supported by other members, it seems useless to add any imput any longer. This will probably be the last time you will read anything that I have started. Because much of what I addressed I purposely deleted myself because of lack of interest or support of the threads I had started. I see no reason to continue to come here when it's become a wasteland of babble. Some of the things I had intentionally added, just show how ridiculous the theory may have been, but not to perpetuate a wild idea. As the old Beatle song said, "I don't want to spoil the party, so I'll go. I would hate my disappointment to show. There's nothing for me here, so I will disappear...." I'm afraid that what you had feared most, you are becoming like TKIN...alot of far fetched ideas... It was fun, but my time here I think is over. I know that JPM had been killed and was replaced by a lesser talented musician and singer who has tarnished the image of JPM in the eyes of many fans. I may not know the full details but the fact remains, the man we now see playing Paul Mc Cartney is a poor image of JPM.

Well now, has this forum lost its zip? Or is the problem that once the Beatles mystery is considered beyond the most basic level, it becomes too complex for some people, who can't bear the thought that it might be more complex than what their "comfort zone" allows for? "When some things that were brought up were shot down or ignored as possibilities, or further researched by another member, or supported by other members, it seems useless to add any imput any longer." That sentence doesn't even make any sense. If you don't like what someone has posted, you can respond with your reasons. This: "It was fun, but my time here I think is over. I know that JPM had been killed and was replaced by a lesser talented musician and singer who has tarnished the image of JPM in the eyes of many fans. I may not know the full details but the fact remains, the man we now see playing Paul Mc Cartney is a poor image of JPM." we already knew. But there's something bigger here, or they wouldn't have put so much time and effort into the project. I'm sorry if my posts represent "the TKIN-ization" of NIR-PWR for some people. I'm not here to discredit this website. I am not an agent of Bill, the CIA, MI6, or anyone else. I can't help but be offended when someone starts whining about my material being too "out there." Bill's material is "out there". John's was as well. If mentioning that is a crime, then so be it.

Actually, LovelyRita, I hope that you'll reconsider and decide to stay. No doubt the place will be poorer for your being absent. Any project becomes less scintillating once the initial bloom is off the rose, and the heavy lifting has to be done. (Mixing metaphors.) Stick around, and see if your moment to shine doesn't present itself. Everyone gets burned-out occassionally. Really, I don't mean to be cruel. I do get upset when someone calls for censorship, while hiding behind pleas for "reasonableness", which is how your post comes across to me. I would readily admit that Beatlies' posts go over my head in some instances. That doesn't mean that his work is unworthy, or that it doesn't relate to the PID/PWR mystery in some way. No one here is perfect. As long as you have the desire to add to the discovery process, I'm glad that you're here. I would not want anyone to feel that their posts are in some way invalidated because of anything I post. And for that reason, I do try to have a degree of reasonableness to my posts, contrary opinions notwithstanding. If we ignore, for example, the "French Foreign Legion" type hints, then why is the fellow from the ROAB shown on Pepper? If Paul didn't join the legion, then was he protected by it? Why is he there? I still don't see where Nat Jackley fits into the picture. Should I ignore him? Please stay, but don't blame me, or Beatlies if what is shown is an "inconvenient truth". Go if you must, but I'd rather you'd stay. Really.

I certainly think the central idea of this theory should have more focus placed on the evidence of photos etc - as some of the threads seem to go way off course with the minimal of substance to back them up. But the central idea must be strong as so many people appear to believe there was a change of some sort. So stick around and get some more focus back - this of course from someone relatively new to the site.

I tend to agree. I also think the Paul/Faul debate is a ship that has long since sailed, or rather it is but a subset of the above sentence I quoted, it's time to move past that.
I also think it's a mistake to view individual views as representative of the forum as a whole, and I direct that not just at you but to all concerned parties. It's not a collective hive mind, it's the "united states of opinions" if you will.
Just to give the benefit of the doubt, I'm not certain that's what she's saying, but.. I agree that being too heavy handed in the moderation doesn't work. If we were becoming "Tkinized", then that would be a sure sign..

I agree that being too heavy handed in the moderation doesn't work. If we were becoming "Tkinized", then that would be a sure sign.. Well I think that's a plus; we don't "carp the company line" so to speak; we don't have a check list agenda of interpretations that we as a group are selling to anybody. We aren't seeking converts or trying to force anyone to believe in all our varied ideas. A lot of "our" ideas have been over the top, and have worn themselves out. We admit that. But I think have loosely assembled a number of good interpretations. Time will tell, with any luck. But, if nothing ever pans out, it was a fun voyage on the H.M.S. Nothing Is Real. This is just a place to look into the Beatles deeper side and reflect on one's impressions. We are raising awareness in the details of their story. If somebody isn't interested, they can move along. Those who are interested can stay and enjoy the discussions as long as they wish. No creed, no doctrine; just an open door for exploration. Lovely Rita----sorry you have decided to leave us. You have made tremendous contributions here. Sometimes far out ideas come along and float here for awhile, yes. But it comes with the territory------we are hypothesizing from pictures, songs, words, and videos. All of those things were generated for entertainment. And some of the people involved in that generating, have a wild sense of humor, and are poetically mysterious. And we've been slogging around for 4 years come the summer. It's an inevitable "rut" from so long and so many gaps. Take care of yourself, dear, and see you in Pepperland one day.

It happens to me too. Sometimes(4\5 times, actually), I felt that something I posted was underestimated; it usually happens this way: I post something that seems interesting to me but the following post is from someone that starts joking and writing ironic sentences. This stops the others from continuing the discussion, and stimulate paranoid that lives in me... It's quite frustrating... May be we should have the courage to insist, asking to take the post seriously, or bumping it again if nobody seems to be interested in it.

I confess at this time that I , for one, have been guilty of that. I apologize to you for when this has happened. What was I thinking? Not all the way thru it, I guess. But you always make enlightening posts, ilras. There is always things in your posts that make me realize that you've had an insight from really thinking it out, or really digging, or from things you know, because I see that you've got a big awareness of politics, sociology, music, etc. Anyway, just wanted to acknowledge what you said and will heed. Hey-----everything is very good, very alright. Thanks for being here!

No problem, Doc. There is no guilt. I think that everybody is free here and you (and the others, of course) can be ironic whenever you want. I appreciate your spirit. The problem is mine; I mean: i should insist. Thanks for the nice words, anyway. It's a pleasure to share my opinions with you.

I think the important thing to remember is that whenever that does happen, there is no vendetta against any individual. It's difficult to avoid it when the subject that we are discussing has no solid structure.
We are all chasing a common goal but we all go about it in different ways and have varying theories, this leads to dispute between various factions sometimes, but it's just part and parcel, I don't think anyone would feel comfortable knowing that they had forced anyone away.
I apologise if ever I have done anything to upset anyone, but I won't apologise for voicing my own opinion, or disagreeing with anyone elses.

I agree. For example, I'm sure that Paul has been replaced and that many clues point to his death. The rest are hypothesis (at the moment), imo.

I'm afraid that what you had feared most, you are becoming like TKIN...alot of far fetched ideas... As jojo pointed out, we certainly are not becoming like TKIN when it comes to how this forum is moderated. We try to allow a free flow of ideas & let them go where they may. We try not to limit the discussion or steer it in the direction we think it should go. Granted, there's a few threads that go off in directions that I may disagree with..... & a theory here & there that irritate the crap outta me.... But as long as the theories are clearly theories, I think it would be a major mistake to try to shut down the discussion of any of these ideas the mods disagree with. We just have to watch it when it comes to posting a personal theory & wording it as if it were fact.

Personally I believe that there is nothing wrong with the "out-there" speculation. Who knows how deep something can go? Nothing is really outside the realm of possibility, but it's the realm of probability that we must consider.
I try very hard to create in my mind a filter of sorts. These are helpful so that you don't believe everything you hear. It really makes me mad when some conspiracy sites twist the facts. Hey I thought the conpiracy theorists were the good guys attacking the fact twisters!
Not that that goes on here, I am just saying that if something appears too "improbable" we should really consider it. Maybe we should split it up into "canon" and "fan-fiction" like those crazy Star Wars fans.
I left here once and journeyed into the wilderness. Whence I came upon Macca's Fun House.... I lurked for a time times half a time. But then decided that I liked this place more and that even if Paul wasn't replaced, we have stumbled upon many strange coincidences, of which we can infer that "something" is there.
