Around noon, (if he's lucky), Dr.Rob crawls out from under the sheets in the Perplex-cave and summons up enough strength to have some diet/caffeinated soda:
Awake, more or less, he then he pulls himself together enough to deal with the day's rehearsals, jobs, or musical clients.
After a hearty lunch/dinner, , he usually has an evening piano gig somewhere in town:
, but usually at a piano, not the drums or guitar. But, that is a smiley for another day!
Inevitably, some little, tiny, insignificant exchange between he and a coworker, or another musician, or club owner, or singer, etc will stimulate this reaction at the end of the night: which leads to this coping mechanism: in his car on the way home from said gig......
....where, he sits down at his computer [img src="http://galeon.hispavista.com/akostuff/img/Dunno2[1].gif"] at home, in order to say hello to all his NIR/PID/PIA associates, accompanied by sometimes copious beverages, including but not limited to Bailey's Irish Creme in a cup, over ice, and begins the long process of unwinding required to achieve this state one more time so that he can lay down and crash like an angel and rest for the next day's calamities.
Everyday brings its share of surprises, dissapointments, , challenges, happinesses, achievments, , victories, , and love.
I know many of you experience the same foibles and glad moments that I do. Let's have a group hug, shall we?
One hug will not do, in this instance, so, everyone, go around the room and shake hands and hug someone you don't know very well.:
Good, now that we are all so well acquainted, I give a rousing woo-hoo: for us all!
------by, the Honorable Doctor Robert, Unofficial Lay Speaker of Divinity, representing the PIA/PID School of Pastoral Counseling. Awarded This Day, January 4th, 2005, earned at the "Any Degree You Want from Home University" (On-Line Division); located in Council Bluffs, Nebraska. Founded in 1998. Accredited. Well, we think so, anyway. Our Motto:
"Cranking Out Web-Cranks Since the Last Century." Tuition is real reasonable, but you won't believe the required hours of study.....
