That is pretty incredible. Do you know a store where they sell autographs & collectibles ? I sold a few autograph books for my dad not too long ago. You need to find an antique fair or store in your area, where you can bring that to have it validated.

I wouldn't trust it..I think many of these people were never in the same place at the same time..so it's a bit hard to imagine someone carrying around a piece of paper to different occasions, unless it's a pge of a book..but then why are there so many on one page.
What amazes me is that it has Paul, Dino Danelli and Keith Allison on one sheet..what the hell...is the universe playing tricks again.
So far I recognize: John, Paul, George, Ringo (Beatles) Peter Asher Mike Love, Brian Wilson, Carl Wilson, Dennis WIlson, Al Jardine (Beach Boys) Jim Morrison, Robert Krieger, Ray Manzarek, John Densmore (Doors) Dave Clark Sonny and Cher Keith Allison Leonard Nimoy (Spock from Star Trek) Dino Danelli Kurt Russell ? (actor)
Personally I would never buy autographs, you can almost never be sure.
All Love Jan

Also Paul Ramone, (A JPM alias, right?) Felix C., and Joe J... I swear it ain't me, lol.
Mark Lindsey, from Paul Revere and the Raiders, the same group that featured Keith Allison for a while..
While I agree with Jan that this seems a bit fishy as far as authenticity is concerned, I also agree that this collection of names is pretty odd.

I have to agree with Jan, I don't think it's authentic.
Where would all of those singers be in the same place at the same time to autograph this piece? The one that catches my eye is Jim Morrison. I don't think the Beatles, the Doors, the Beach Boys and Paul Revere and The Raiders were ever in one place at the same time, or the Dave Clark 5? The Doors came out in 1967 and by that time the DC 5 and Paul Revere were about "Yesterday'sVille"
If it were authentic, wouldn't someone have had it notorized or something to show that it's authentic?
I'd do some research to see if you could find autographs of these people on something else, like some of those sites that have old vintage pics with signatures....

the guy found it in a lp sleeve. the paper is "aged" so is ink. It's from the magazine "16" (1967) ; as it was together with an article written by Gloria Stavers (the woman who took also that famous pic of J. Morrison), the seller thinks that she could be the collector and former owner of the paper. Btw the sellers knows only beatles, doors, beach boys and dave clark. Paul Revere, Freddy Weller and Mike "Smitty" Smith from P.Revere and the Raiders are also on it.

i think it seems pretty unlikely to be genuine, all of the signatures look as though they were signed at the same time with the same pen! how much is he asking for it? if you dont mind me asking?

Woah!
My call would be to go and speak to your local auction house/sale room, i expect they would be able to give you two estimates, one for genuine and one for fake, because don't forget, fakes still have some value.

the fact is that, checking on the net more or less all the autographs can be real. Just Nimoy (especially the name) is not as the ones u can find on the net. But may be that those are newer and He in the 60's was signing that way...plus that magazine really interviewed all that people in that period...

if its genuine its probably worth that much, and the only thing that makes me think its not genuine is that all the signatures look as though they were signed at the same time.
if i were you id definitely get it checked and valued and if its genuine and worth as much or more than he wants for it buy it!

Another thing, was it the same ink? I don't think that someone would be using the same pen, unless it was at the same time, and I doubt if these people were ever together in one place at one time...

unless the owner of the book gave them the same pen everytime to sign with, highly unlikely but maybe?

I agree if it's for real, it's worth it, but whew! Too rich for my blood as they say.

JoJo,do you prefer "visual" treasures..like books, magazines and videos?
I've seen the Antiques Roadshow on PBS and people like pictures, or letters or some other information to authenticate the item, like a letter from the person who originally owned it, or a relative of the person who may have died and left it to them. Like someone's parents got the autographs and someone wrote a letter, or had a photo of someone with the famous person. A piece of paper with signatures does not give much validity to it's value.
